The prophet of Islam, Muhammad (SAW) has been introduced by Allah, the Creator of this universe, as the “Mercy for the whole universe”. The holy Prophet (SAW) lived his entire life as a testimony to this grand compliment from Allah Almighty. His extraordinary compassion towards his followers, all other human beings is acknowledged to be worth copying and there has been no denial of the claim yet. He was an epitome of love, mercy, compassion and tolerance. He not only practiced these virtues himself, but also inculcated them in his companions, advised his followers i.e. all Muslims to practice and preach them to entire humanity at large. He forgave his worst enemies and tormentors when he subdued them, either individually, or collectively. His historic declaration of universal pardon on the conquest of Makkah has no parallel in history. His life history and teachings are replete with examples of extreme compassion and mercy. This paper is an attempt to bring home this point by presenting the evidences to support this claim.

Abstract This article explores the life history of Ulrick Rosarion, a Haitian federal prosecutor who built his career during the Duvalier dictatorship. Rosarion lived his entire life in a small house of downtown Port-au-Prince, in a neighborhood formerly inhabited by the Black middle-classes that gained prominence in the political and administrative sphere during the dictatorship (1957-1986). Rosarion was also a writer who produced four books of nationalist poetry. Based on interviews and readings of his literary production, and beyond, through an exploration of architectural forms and material remnants echoing the dictatorship, this paper explores how an idealized version of the dictatorship today haunts the political landscape of Haiti. Moreover, this article argues that the state takes on a sensual form that allows for the diffusion and/or rupture of past ideologies.

To traditional Aborigines their whole concept of life, whether it is physical or spiritual survival, is centred on their belief in the Dreamtime. The Dreamtime was the period of creation when the Aborigines’ life-style was planned and the Aborigines’ entire life centred on the need to live in the style prescribed by the mythical Dreamtime ancestors. An understanding of the Dreamtime is essential to an understanding of traditional Aboriginal culture. Stanner (1979, 23–40) describes the Dreaming as pervading every aspect of life from social organization to food gathering. Not only is it the period of creation when the mythical ancestors roamed the earth, but it is also the life spirit which ties man, society and nature, both past and present, to the living now.R.M. Berndt (1980) describes the dreaming thus:The Dreaming therefore constituted a particular view of life, of the place of human beings within a preordained scheme or patterning symbolising a three-sided relationship between mythic beings, nature and people. Each was dependent on the others. People were part of nature, part of particular mythic beings, in social and personal terms.(Berndt, 1980, 14–15)Not only did traditional Aborigines believe in the Dreaming, they lived it. It is the Dreaming which provides the blueprint for life.Central to the belief in the Dreaming is the belief in the mythical beings. These beings were part human and part animal. They roamed the earth in the Dreamtime using super-human powers to create all natural features.

The gregarine Stylocephalus mesomorphi has a diploid chromosome number of 8. The diploid stage is represented only by the zygote nucleus before the metagamic divisions start. The other stages in the entire life history of this gregarine are haploid. The mitotic chromosomes are four in number, one being the longest, two of medium size and the fourth the smallest.I am grateful to Professor J. C. Uttangi, Head of the Zoology Department, Karnatak Science College, Dharwar, for the encouragement he gave me throughout this work. I am also greatly indebted to my colleague Dr M. J. Devadhar, for having given me many valuable suggestions.

SUMMARYM. ribis, Linn, (red-currant aphis), on Ribes rubrum is dimorphic in respect of certain features of the antenna and of abdominal and wing dimensions. The nature of the food, whether healthy or blistered by the attack of the fundatrix, seems to be the determining factor of this dimorphism. The form from healthy leaves is probably identical with M. whitei, Theobald, and M. dispar, Patch.M. ribis is migratory, and in summer colonises certain Labiatæ and other weeds; but this migration is not obligatory, and the entire life-cycle may be passed on currant. On its summer host plant this species has been previously described as Phorodon galeopsidis, Kaltenbach. There is a decline in fertility in the later part of the summer among the forms remaining on currant. This is caused by a lower birth-rate, and not by the shortening of the life of the parent. This decline, together with the attacks of predaceous and parasitic enemies, accounts for the frequent disappearance of the species from currant in August and September. Both sexual forms may be produced, and eggs may be laid, on either host plant. Males transferred from Labiatæ to Ribes can fertilise the females on the latter plant.

If the life history of a population consists of a sequence of density-dependent stages linked by density-independent survival rates, and if the density-dependent stages take the form of the Beverton–Holt stock and recruitment curve, then a single Beverton–Holt curve will describe the entire life history. The relationship between the parameters of any stage in the life history and the optimal harvest rate and optimal stock size is analyzed. Increasing survival rates will always increase the optimal harvest rate, but may increase or decrease the optimal stock size. Increasing the habitat capacity will increase the optimal stock size and leave the optimal harvest rate unaffected. An example of changing freshwater survival rates by Salmonid Enhancement is shown, as is an example of changing ocean survival rate. As we acquire a better understanding of the determinants of survival and habitat capacity, we should adjust harvest rates and stock size as the environment changes.

This paper explores several research methods used by researchers and published in various scientific journals to examine transgender issues in various countries. Transgender individuals are one of the gender-based minorities in social life. They live in uncomfortable conditions. They face life’s problems, which include problems in expressing religious rights, economic stability, and getting professional jobs. Like other human beings, they also have the right as citizens. These rights include civil rights, including religious rights, political rights, and social rights. There are several research methodologies that may be appropriate to be applied in research on transgender-related issues, namely life history, ethnography, phenomenology, feminist approach, textual or hermeneutic interpretation, and case studies.[Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi beberapa metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh para peneliti yang dipublikasikan dalam berbagai jurnal ilmiah untuk meneliti isu-isu transgender di berbagai negara. This article is based on a preliminary of Dissertation that is written by Rr. Henry David Thoreau is a great American writer of transcendentalism and the pioneer of modern environmentalism. Being an ardent lover of nature, he devoted his entire life to studying the relationship between man and nature, and bequeathed a legacy of works in this field. He believed that nature was the symbol of spirit, and had a far-reaching influence on man and his character, and human beings should live harmoniously with nature for the long sustainable development. In Walden which is his masterpiece He endows the animals with human characteristics. Thereupon, Thoreau often describes the similarities between animals and people he comes across. People can be just as greedy and shallow as the marmot of the prairie, or as naughty and clumsy as red squirrels, or as lazy and cunning as chickadees, or as loyal as gundogs in Thoreau’s writings. Thoreau spent two years living a simple life at Walden on his own. He recounted in details the living habits of these animals, from woodchucks, loons to mice and hawks.

In addition to “Prolegomena for Cyborgoethics,” this chapter builds a strong case for the necessity of cyoborgoethics to help guide moral actions and protocols for preserving the vitality of life within a rapidly changing technologically society. The introduction of an all-encompassing ethical system of cyborgization of human beings is deemed necessary in addition to establishing cyborgoethic principles and rethinking the developmental stages of cybernetic implants that pose the question whether we as cyborgs perceive ourselves as the only authors of our life history and whether we will recognize ourselves as autonomously active persons. It is important to establish ethical and legal responsibility for potential cyborgization of the entire reality of mankind.
