The subject of our interest is an educational process, which is a dynamic process, changing in time, and can be examined from various viewpoints. We can focus on participants of this process, i.e. on students and lecturers, and observe their mutual relations and interactions. Educational process understood as a dynamic system is an insofar extensive sphere that it provides almost limitless opportunities of observation, modelling and simulation. In this contribution we shall focus mainly on the special part of educational processes – on teaching of subjects focusing on technical and system issues (Logical systems, Architecture of computers, Operating systems and Computer networks), which are specific with their focus on adopting the knowledge on principles and functionality of computer systems for the processing and transfer of information within the studies of informatics. Key words: e-learning, learning management system, blended learning, modelling of Petri nets, adaptive hypermedial systems, model of user, information and communication technology.

To contextualize, this article was written in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to make this point since university education for years obviated virtual teaching, using web platforms as an optional method at the beginning, however, within the current context they became mandatory. At this point in the summary, we have to clarify that the learning management tool, or LMS with which we work is Moodle. That is why it was launched in mid-2020 to the virtual environment for educational processes, allowing relatively better communication between participants, also for the collective and individual development of learning, and being part of it, evaluation. The evaluation of students is a critical stage of the educational process, since if it is of a low level, students will be approved without having assimilated the minimum knowledge, on the contrary, if it is very strict, a high percentage of students would probably not pass the subject. On the other hand, the fact that students handle the technological tools of this time very well causes teachers to feel pressured during the evaluation process, since the possibility that students are tempted to see individual tests as evaluations collaborative (group) increases considerably. How have we teachers tried to immunize (using terminology of these days) our evaluations against this possibility? The arsenal of options with which the LMS Moodle is equipped is varied, we need to assess the power of the type of question calculated in light of the subject that we want to evaluate, on the educational level (which is university), the cycle in which our students are (at the beginning of their careers, in the middle or at the end), the prerequisites that the subject has and finally the capacity that we have to be able to implement the questions. What we intend to do in this article is to share how we have implemented calculated questions, randomly generated to evaluate the specific topic of calculating the amount, within the Simple Interest chapter of a Financial Mathematics course using calculated questions that are generated from a set of data that we can specify.

This chapter evaluated the potentials of selected information and communication technologies in adult education programmes in Nigeria. Infrastructure and funding are among the important issues, but scepticism about the pedagogic value of information and communication technologies and staff development are probably the most challenging. Institutions are grappling with bringing use and funding of e-learning and other computer-based instructional strategies into the mainstream of their organizations, and are beginning to contemplate restructuring to take account of information and communication technologies, in terms of staffing, staff development, course design and student support. Even though studies have captured the imperatives of information and communication technologies in Nigeria's educational system, little is still known about the subject matter in relation to adult education systems in the country. Consequently, this chapter explores and provides the much-needed insight on the subject and the issues that the process raises in the context of adult education in Nigeria.

The authors of the article draw attention to the relevance of the use of e-learning tools to improve the quality of student preparation, as well as they consider the specifics of pedagogical communication within the framework of the information and educational environment. The language of education changes: there is a transition from written forms to audiovisual ones. In addition to traditional actors of the educational process (a teacher and a student), the third actor appears. It is learning tools that operate on the basis of information and communication technologies. The use of e-learning resources in the learning process allows to provide flexible forms of students’ interaction with a teacher and educational content; to organize interactive learning, follow-up and final assessment; to facilitate the management of the educational process for a teacher. The combination of in-class and online (extramural) forms of attendance is most effective. Also, it is necessary to include a cooperative learning approach in the e-learning model. The article describes the experience of using the virtual learning environment (Moodle) in organization of the educational process in a number of subjects (“Psychology of Lying”, “Ergonomics”, etc.) for the students of humanitarian and electrical engineering majors.

The purpose of this article is the analysis of Information and Communication Technologies - ICT in legal education according to the reform of the Russian national education system. It is observed how the creation of digital education in Russia contributes to its integration into the global educational environment. The regulatory framework for analysing ICTs in legal education, e-learning and distance education is used as a starting point. A critical analysis methodology is used to model the possible implementation of problem-based learning using ICT and using the "contract builder" simulator as an example. It is concluded that the introduction of ICT in the educational process requires a systematic approach, a state policy for the development of this area, additional funding and training of teachers.

This chapter analyses the challenges in adapting a non-language learning courseware (NLLC) for a military learning environment. The National Defense University Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur (NDUM) was the subject for observations and an informal survey. The findings of this chapter argue that there are technical, theoretical, and pedagogical challenges that need to be overcome when using an NLLC in language classrooms. With the rise of information and communication technology (ICT) and the Internet, tertiary military institutions are pressured to implement e-learning technologies in their learning environments. However, not many institutions have the capacity to do so. The author argues that the adoption of an NLLC for an institution that has resources constraints can help determine the potential of using e-learning technologies to help students acquire the target language better.
