Trans Mebidang is a bus rapid transit system in the province of North Sumatra that operates in Medan, Binjai, and Deli Serdang districts. Operated by Perum Damri, this BRT has been operating at the end of 2015, after being delayed from the 2013 target, with a fleet of 30 air-conditioned buses spread across two corridors, in its journey from 2015-2020 this rapid bus has become the capital of the capital mode. for the people of Medan City, Binjai and Deli Serdang. This study aims at how the implementation of the Trans Mebidang Program in Transportation Mode Services in North Sumatra (Comparative Study of Medan City). This study uses a qualitative analysis using the P4 analytical system approach which is planning, regulation, supervision and control. From the research results obtained the status of Medan, Binjai and Deli Serdang (Mebidang) As a National strategic area and strengthened by the existence of the Governor of North Sumatra Governor Regulation Number 31 of 2014 concerning Road-based Mass Public Transport Services in Urban Areas of Medan, Binjai and Deli Serdang, in program implementation has been running but not yet effective, efficient and productive. Because there are still many main and supporting infrastructure facilities that are still lacking in supervision and control. Recommendations and suggestions in this study Local Government which is integrated with mass transportation program is expected to work hand in hand to strengthen the North Sumatra government program, it is time for the Regional Government to develop spatial planning by strengthening vehicle ratios and strengthening SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) that must be strengthened and actually.

Whereas in some cities ropeways already belong to the transit system, in Germany they are better known from skiing in the alps or as tourist attractions that were implemented in relation to expositions as in Koblenz or Berlin. Nonetheless, a ropeway system has several advantages, which make it an interesting alternative in urban public transportation. In this paper, we investigate the varying attitude of residents and commuters towards a ropeway system and its potential on a route in the north of Munich. To get an impression of their opinion, we conducted an online survey focusing on route choice depending on transit mode and travel times. In general, the respondents had a positive attitude towards this novel option and rate it with similar attractiveness to subway. To investigate the demand for the ropeway, the results of the survey were used to add a new transportation mode in the VISUM model for transit in Munich.

Batak is one of the tribes that are in the North sumatra province which has its own regional languages. Batak region has many languages spoken that have their own special meanings commonly used batak on each process festivities batak. In General, any person who has a marga batak in particular, will be required to perform its role in accordance with the roles have in attending ceremonies or else speak sapa with other families. Many said the word in the language area of the batak batak descent are sometimes obliged to remember it and sometimes there are that have yet to find out its meaning. It is an obvious problem for the people of batak especially for living in urban areas because of the technological developments that erode customs. The solution of these problems is by way of designing a media information in the form of the application is the meaning of the said in the batak are easily accessible and easily understood by the public. Word search techniques used in this research is the turbo algorithm boyer moore. The Turbo Boyer-Moore algorithm is an algorithm that was developed originally is Boyer-Moore Algorithm. <p>Este trabalho apresenta o modelo e estratégia de controle de um sistema BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) que tem como principal característica a presença de segmento(s) de faixa exclusiva única para ambos os sentidos de deslocamento dos ônibus (segmentos bidirecionais). Este diferencial, dadas as restrições associadas ao alto grau de adensamento das áreas urbanas, permite uma menor ocupação de espaço físico e menor ocupação das vias convencionais por parte dos ônibus, podendo muitas vezes representar a viabilidade ou não da implementação de sistemas BRT. São apresentados o modelo e uma estratégia de controle em tempo real para operação do sistema BRT proposto, aqui denominado CIRSO (Controle Integrado de Retenção e Sequenciamento dos Ônibus). O modelo matemático utilizado é determinístico, representado por uma função custo e restrições, sendo as variáveis de controle o tempo ótimo de retenção dos ônibus nos pontos e o controle do sequenciamento dos ônibus através do(s) segmento(s) bidirecional(ais). Resultados de simulação mostram a viabilidade e eficiência do modelo do sistema BRT e da estratégia de controle CIRSO aqui propostos.</p><p>Palavras-chave: faixa exclusiva para ônibus, faixa bidirecional para ônibus, BRT, controle do espaçamento</p><p>Abstract: This paper presents a model and control strategy for a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) system which has as its main distinguishing characteristic the presence of segments with only one exclusive lane for both directions of bus movement (bidirectional segments). This feature, given the constraints associated with high density urban areas, allows for a smaller physical footprint and lower occupancy of the conventional ways by buses and can often represent the only feasible alternative of the implementation of a BRT system. The model and a control strategy for real time operation of the proposed BRT system are presented, here called CIRSO (Integrated Control of Retention and Sequencing of the Buses). The mathematical model used is deterministic, represented by a cost function and constraints. The control variables are the optimum holding time of buses at stops and control of bus sequencing through the bidirectional segments. Simulation results show the feasibility and efficiency of the BRT system model and CIRSO control strategy here proposed.</p>Keywords: exclusive bus way, bidirectional bus lane, bus rapid transit, holding control<br />

The North Sumatra Provincial Forestry Service is a regional apparatus that carries out provincial and district / city regional government affairs in the forestry sector. In the North Sumatra Provincial Forestry Service there were natural disasters. Natural disasters are events or series of events that threaten and disrupt people's lives and livelihoods caused, both by natural and / or non-natural factors as well as human factors, resulting in human casualties, environmental damage, property losses, and psychological impacts. In natural disasters in forests, it is difficult to identify data in determining the magnitude or impact of natural disasters on forests. Handling the impact of natural disasters can be done with the concept of data mining to produce information large or small the impact of existing natural disasters and to help decision making. To produce a decision, the C5.0 algorithm is used, the C5.0 algorithm is an algorithm to make it easier to determine the impact of natural disasters on forests in the North Sumatra Province Forestry.Keywords: Forestry Service, Data Mining, Algoritma C5.0

Governments all over the world are paying great attention to economic innovation and the development of design in modern society. They are spending more and more recourses on making rules for Industrial Design Policy and measuring its implementation. As a method to make macroeconomic regulation and control by the government, the effectiveness and importance of design policy has already been widely admitted. In a macro-background of the three turns of Chinese design policy, taking the design policy of Guangdong province as an example, this article will analyze how local/regional government should respond to the national design policy. Based on the investigation and analysis of the winners of the "Guangdong Governor Cup Industrial Design Competition", this paper discusses how industrial design competition as a part of the design policy to support the development of industrial design. After making a comparison with the design policy of the Yangtze River Delta area, this article tries to enhance and perfect the current policy path.
