In ceramic companies, uncertainty in the tone and gage obtained in first quality units of the same finished good (FG) entails frequent discrepancies between planned homogeneous quantities and real ones. This fact can lead to a shortage situation in which certain previously committed customer orders cannot be served because there are not enough homogeneous units of a specific FG (i.e., with the same tone and gage). In this paper, a Model-Driven Decision Support System (DSS) is proposed to reassign the actual homogeneous stock and the planned homogeneous sublots to already committed orders under uncertainty by means of a mathematical programming model (SP-Model). The DSS functionalities enable ceramic decision makers to generate different solutions by changing model options. Uncertainty in the planned homogeneous quantities, and any other type of uncertainty, is managed via scenarios. The robustness of each solution is tested in planned and real situations with another DSS functionality based on another mathematical programming model (ASP-Model). With these DSS features, the ceramic decision maker can choose in a friendly fashion the orders to be served with the current homogeneous stock and the future uncertainty homogeneous supply to better achieve a balance between the maximisation of multiple objectives and robustness.

Teacher is an important element in the support system, therefore function and position of teachers in improving the quality of learners need to be considered seriously. Basically, teachers are professionals in the field of education that has the task of teaching, educating, and guiding students to become a man is impersonal. Thus, teachers have an important position and responsibilities of a very great deal in the success or failure of educational programs. In order to facilitate the selection process for the teachers, the school can use the Decision Support System Decision Support System that is used as a tool for decision makers to expand the capabilities of the decision makers, but not to replace the judgment of the decision makers. The method used is the Simple Additive weighting, Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) suitable for decision-making process because it can determine the weight values for each attribute, followed by indexing process that will select the best alternative from a number of the best alternative. It can be concluded from this study that the SAW method is very relevant to solve the problem of decision makers.

Lecturers are academic staff who are in charge of planning and implementing the learning process, guidance and training, and are able to bring students into activities held by the University, both official and non-official. Selection of favorite lecturers chosen by students can encourage lecturers to communicate more with students to be able to invite students to take part in groups or organizations involving students and lecturers. However, in reality, Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang is still not actively conducting this election. To overcome these problems, a Decision Support System was designed to determine the student's favorite lecturers by using the simple additive weighting method. The Decision Support System for Determining Favorite Lecturers of Student Choice is a system that is able to increase the ease of decision making in determining lecturers who have student attractiveness so that students are more active and more competent in the guidance of the selected lecturers. In this system the lecturer's assessment is based on 5 criteria. The criteria used are responsibility, discipline, attitude, initiative, and presence. To get the final conclusion as an alternative decision to determine the lecturer of this choice requires the calculation process stage on each variable that has been determined based on the criteria. The position of the decision support system in this study is as a decision supporter, not replacing the role of the decision maker, so that the decision maker has the right to fully refer to the decision support system or not. The research results from the calculated simple additive weighting method can be concluded that the favorite lecturer of the student's choice is lecturer 2 with a score of 1.00 which is the result of the highest ranking and can be used as an alternative for determining the favorite lecturer of the student's choice.

The economic development of a city is marked by the increasing number of established businesses. Inaccurate decision about business location can result in losses for the owner. To support proper decision making, various decision making methods have been developed. For example, by using Fuzzy, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Promethee, Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), Borda, and Hybrid (a combination of several methods). In this research, the author tries to solve the problem of decision making in determining business location, by designing a decision support system that uses a hybrid method approach, a combination of Fuzzy, Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), and Borda. There are 3 alternative locations (A1, A2, and A3), 5 decision makers, and 5 assessment criteria used, such as land eligibility (benefit), population density (benefit), traffic jam (benefit), completeness of files (benefit), and flood intensity (cost). The Decision Support System accepts input in the form of natural language/linguistic (very/quite/kinda/less) and converts it into a fuzzy membership value (range 0 to 1), processes it based on weight, cost, and benefit of existing criteria using Simple Additive Weighting (SAW), and combines the assessment results using Borda from 5 decision makers/business owners with their respective perceptions. So as to produce a final group decision. Where the final result obtained in the Borda method, that the alternative location A1 (A1 score is 6) gets the first priority to be business place establishment location, followed by A3 (A3 score is 5) in the second priority, and A2 (A2 score is 4) in the third priority/last.
