Diabetes Mellitus Diagnosis Expert System with Web-Based Forward Chaining Method. An expert system is one branch of artificial intelligence technology that combines the knowledge of an expert with tracing data to solve problems that are normally carried out by an expert. The development of information technology now makes it possible to access information from anywhere and anytime. So the role of information technology is increasingly useful to be able to develop in various fields including in the health sector. One of them is the system used to diagnose diabetes mellitus. Diabetes Mellitus is one of the most common diseases in the world. The inability of the pancreas to produce insulin normally becomes one of the reasons a person has this disease. In this research, the method used is Forward Chaining which sorts all data obtained before getting the final conclusion. The final results obtained from this study is an expert system application for diagnosing diabetes with a forward chaining method, where the user answers questions based on perceived symptoms, then the results obtained in the form of disease and explanation of the disease.

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendiagnosa penyakit lambung yang lebih spesifik pada manusia yaitu grastitis, maag, kanker lambung, tumor lambung / polip lambung, dispesia, gerd, gastroparesis dan gastroenteritis,  dengan adanya gejala yang lebih spesifik maka persentase kemungkinan terjangkitnya penyakit lambung akan lebih besar. Sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa penyakit lambung dengan menggunakan metode Fuzzy Mamdani dapat membantu meminimalisir peran dokter penyakit dalam sehingga pasien dapat lebih dini mendeteksi jenis penyakit lambung apa yang dideritanya. Sistem pakar berbasis web memungkinkan adanya peranan bidang informatika dalam bidang kesehatan dan dapat disimpan dalam file database yang besar sehingga lebih efisien, tepat sasaran dan mengikuti perkembangan dunia kedokteran. Dengan adanya gejala-gejala penyakit pecernaan yang dideteksi maka akan dapat didiagnosa jenis penyakit lambung apa yang di derita oleh pasien dengan hasil penelitian dapat mendeteksi jenis penyakit lambung, gejala-gejala dan solusi pengobatannya. This research was conducted to diagnose gastric diseases that are more specific to humans, namely grastitis, ulcers, gastric cancer, gastric tumors / gastric polyps, dyspesia, gerd, gastroparesis and gastroenteritis. With more specific symptoms, the percentage of gastric disease will be greater. An expert system for diagnosing gastric disease using the Fuzzy Mamdani method can help minimize the role of internal medicine doctors so that patients can detect what type of gastric disease they have early. The web-based expert system allows the role of informatics in the health sector and can be stored in a large database file so that it is more efficient, on target and follows developments in the medical world. With the detected gastrointestinal symptoms, the patient will be able to diagnose what type of gastric disease suffered by the patient with the results of the research being able to detect the type of gastric disease, its symptoms and treatment solutions.

Expert Systems are computer-based applications that are used to solve problems as the expert thinks. Many college students majoring in Information Technology are difficult to get the thesis title topic even though it has been reading many journals and looking for some references. Therefore to make it easier college students, then the author wants to create an application where college students majoring in Information Technology can more easily get the thesis title topic so the work of thesis becomes more fluent and not obstructed. This app is web based. In system design, the author used several methods in his research that is method of Analyze, Design, and Implementation. Methods in the design of this expert system even this also used forward chaining method as tracking ahead and best first search method. And also using data collection method mean literature study and questionnaire from system that has been created. The result of Expert System of Thesis Title Topic Selection with Forward Chaining method web based expected to be useful and helpfully college students in getting the thesis title topic. Based on questionnaire that has been shared and filled, it can be said that the Expert System of Thesis Title Topic Selection with Forward Chaining Method Web Based is helpful and beneficial for the college students because it helps college student Information Technology in getting Thesis Title.

One of the biggest cause of death is Diabetes Mellitus caused by a lack of public understanding of the symptoms of the disease, so that the diagnosis of the disease is not done as early as possible. This paper presents the research and the development of an Android based self-control management expert system for Diabetes Mellitus patients. This expert system purposed to diagnose Diabetes Mellitus disease based on symptoms experienced and to manage the dietary pattern in patients. The method used to develop expert system is forward chaining method. Implementation of the forward chaining method begins with gathering information then applying reasoning as a determinant of diagnosis conclusions using rule based If-Then. The development result is an expert system that can be used to diagnose Diabetes Mellitus and can be used to determine the dietary pattern in patients who are implemented on Android based mobile devices. This system shows more specific results in determining the diagnosis of the disease based on 4 types of Diabetes Mellitus. In addition, more specific in determining dietary pattern such as showing the number of calories, food levels and variations of food that can be consumed by patients.

Paper ini membahas tentang penanganan penyakit pada kucing dengan dukungan expert system. Dengan mengimplementasikan perkembangan teknologi saat ini yang dapat menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan layaknya seorang manusia. Penanganan penyakit pada kucing saat ini masih dilakukan dengan uji laboratorium, dan menggunakan kertas sebagai form perhitungan hasil diagnosa yang dilakukan oleh dokter pada Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan dan Klinik Zech Small Animal di kota Padang. Dari permasalahan tersebut dibuatlah suatu web tempat untuk konsultasi berbagai cara penanganan kesehatan kucing baik berupa mencegah dan mengobati penyakit kucing dari gejala-gejala yang ditimbulkan. Tahapan penelitian dimulai dari pengumpulan data berupa interview langsung dengan dokter hewan dan beberapa buku sebagai study literatur, dilanjutkan dengan perancangan sistem aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan metode forward chaining, kemudian dilakukan pengembangan serta pengujian sistem pada Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan dan Klinik Zech Animal di kota Padang. Terdapat 21 Penyakit yang dihasilkan diimplementasikan kedalam sebuah aplikasi web based expert system. Aplikasi ini mampu membantu para pecinta kucing (cat lovers) untuk melakukan penanganan penyakit dan pencegahan pada kucing kesayangan mereka.

In recent years, the diabetes mellitus in Indonesia has become a health problem in the community because its population has increased 2-3 times faster than other countries. Diabetes prevalence in Indonesia ranks 4th highest in the world after China, India and the United States. People can prevent complications and premature death if they detect early symptoms of diabetes. However, people do not know that they are at risk of diabetes, not had knowledge about the symptoms of diabetes, complexity of the process diagnosis and the high cost of examinations. Therefore, we need an application that can provide the results of the type of diabetes and its management solutions as practiced by experts. The aim of this research is to develop an expert system for detection types of diabetes such as: type one diabetes, type two diabetes, neuropathy diabetes, diabetes retinopathy, and diabetes nephropathy. The object of this research is diabetes carried out in March to April 2019 in the Klinik Pratama Desa Putera. This study uses primary data from patients who had a history of diabetes at Klinik Pratama Desa Putra and secondary data in the form of literature, research journals, and data documents needed to compile this study. In addition, we generated a knowledge base using forward chaining. The test results show that the expert system meets the functional requirements and the system performance reaches an accuracy of 100%. This expert system helps people in Indonesia to detect diabetes early so that it can prevent complications.

Abstract   Through the mass media news is often found about how a family or community handles family members who have mental disorders by mounting, isolating, and even throwing them away. This shows that one of the things that causes the family to handle the problem inappropriately is the lack of information about diagnoses of mental disorders so that they take actions that could make the sufferer worse. The expert system designed by the writer here aims to produce an expert system that can be used by the general public. The system is made in such a way that it can be used easily to provide knowledge to the public about mental disorders and how to deal with it. With this expert system, families and even the surrounding community can take appropriate action if there are people with mental disorders in the vicinity. This expert system uses a method that is quite popular, namely Forward Chaining which is implemented in the form of a web-based application program. Application is made using the PHP programming language then testing based on the Black Box method   Keywords: Expert system, Mental disorder, Forward Chaining.   Abstrak   Melalui media massa sering dijumpai berita tentang bagaimana sebuah keluarga atau masyarakat menangani anggota keluarganya yang mengalami gangguan jiwa dengan cara memasung, mengucilkan, bahkan membuangnya. Ini menunjukkan bahwa salah satu hal yang menyebabkan keluarga kurang tepat dalam menangani permasalahan tersebut adalah kurangnya informasi tentang diagnosa gangguan jiwa sehingga mereka melakukan tindakan yang bisa jadi membuat penderita semakin parah. Sistem pakar yang dirancang penulis di sini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sistem pakar yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat secara umum. Sistem yang dibuat sedemikian rupa sehingga dapat digunakan secara mudah untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang gangguan jiwa dan cara menanganinya. Dengan adanya sistem pakar ini, keluarga bahkan masyarakat di sekitarnya dapat melakukan tindakan yang tepat jika ada penderita gangguan jiwa di sekitarnya. Sistem pakar juru pemantau jiwa ini menggunakan metode yang cukup populer yaitu forward Chaining yang diimplementasikan ke dalam bentuk program aplikasi berbasis web. Aplikasi dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP kemudian dilakukan pengujian berdasarkan dengan metode Black Box.   Kata Kunci: Sistem pakar, gangguan jiwa, Forward Chaining.

Mental health problems in children, such as stress, anxiety, or depression are real and these problems are as important as physical health problems, but many children do not get the care they need so an artificial intelligence technology such as an expert system can help diagnose the disorder mentally in children early. This research developed an expert system to diagnose mental disorders in children using the mobile-based Forward Chaining and Certainty Factor method that diagnoses 7 types of mental disorders in children from 46 symptoms obtained based on the knowledge of 3 experts. Based on the results of the black box testing states that the expert system that was built has had compatibility in terms of functionality. The results of the theoretical calculation test states that the calculation system of an expert diagnosis of a child's mental disorder is in accordance with the results of calculations done manually. In testing the accuracy of the system from 30 cases tested on 3 experts, the expert system that was built succeeded in producing system accuracy values ​​based on the final belief value of the three experts, based on the belief values ​​of experts 1, 2, and 3, respectively 91.11%, 96.67%, 96.67% and 80%. Furthermore, the results of MOS testing conducted on 35 respondents produce MOS of 4.12 from a scale of 5 where based on that value the expert system built is categorized into a good system.

This paper recommends that there is an important role of Information Technology in the field of women empowerment such empowerment could easily be seen higher in the Urban and rural Tamil Nadu. There is high time for providing training for the women with the support of the administration for strengthening the National Computer literacy Mission. There must be the provision of allocation of budget and funding for testing conceptual framework at the grass root level to assess the effectiveness of empowering women through Information Technology. In India, women face enormous challenges with respect to health, education, and economic empowerment. For example, maternal mortality and malnutrition remain major problems, about third of women are unable to read and write, and economic opportunities are limited by pervasive discrimination and lack of access to market information. Mobile innovation is transforming lives for the better for women in a variety of ways across India. We recognize that the scaling of women-centered mobile programs and applications can only be achieved with improved financial, commercial, and marketing incentives and of course, cooperation. Thorough mobile application training we hope make a start – by financially supporting and recognizing innovative mobile and Web based applications and their potential in a public forum.

Diabetes Mellitus adalah penyakit yang ditimbulkan karena kekurangan produksi insulin (hormon yang diproduksi oleh pankreas dan yang mengatur tingkat glukosa di dalam tubuh manusia. Bagi kebanyakan orang yang mengalami obesitas (kegemukan), penyakit Diabetes Melitus ini menjadi salah satu penyakit yang mengkhawatirkan, meskipun tidak semua orang yang mengalami obesitas (kegemukan) dapat terserang penyakit ini.Banyaknya gejala dalam penyakit diabetes mellitus, serta lamanya proses diagnosis dan biaya yang cukup mahal untuk melakukan proses diagnosis dalam menentukan apakah pasien menderita penyakit Diabetes Mellitus ataukah tidak. Hal ini yang membuat masyarakat(pasien) membutuhkan konsultasi untuk menentukan hasil diagnosis dari gejala yang dialaminya. Pemodelan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan system pakar yang dapat memberikan solusi kepada masyarakat tanpa harus bertanya langsung kepada pakarnya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model expert system dengan menerapkan metode Forward Chaining dalam menentukan apakah seseorang tersebut menderita penyakit diabetes mellitus ataukah tidak. Sistem Pakar ini menyediakan fasilitas konsultasi yang digunakan untuk melakukan tanya jawab antara system dengan pengguna (user) serta juga menyediakan fasilitas untuk melakukan edit knowledge.
