Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia are experiencing a negative impact from the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises actors need an increase in entrepreneurship motivation to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic. The YARSI University Community Service Team and partners from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises who are members of the YARSI University with the Warung Sejahtera Business Group conducted training on entrepreneurship motivation. The activity results show that there are still Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises actors who do not know about the COVID-19 pandemic and entrepreneurship motivation. After participating in the training, most MSME actors are interested in running a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise business during the COVID-19 pandemic by innovating. The innovation that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises will carry out is the most widely chosen by sharing info to the WA group. This community service activity concludes that there is an increase in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises' entrepreneurship motivation to stay afloat during the covid 19 pandemic. Future community service activities can be in the form of training on the operationalization of the WhatsApp application in increasing sales of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

ABSTRACT -  Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) also known as UMKM is growing rapidly and has become one of many sectors to support the Indonesian Economy. The lack of ability to have NPWP has been a problem for UMKM and also people. The same problem also found at UMKM in Kangkung Village. The purpose of this community service is to train the entrepreneurs about preparing and register oneself to get a NPWP. This community service is consist of four steps which started by survey of service location then collecting data on village potentials and the role of the community , Preparation for the implementation of assistance and training and training activities. After participating in the training, the entrepreneurs become more understanding and can register NPWP. Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) also known as UMKM is growing rapidly and has become one of many sectors to support the Indonesian Economy. The lack of ability to make financial report has been a problem for UMKM inhibit them to gain loan or investment from financial institutions. The same problem also found at UMKM in Kangkung Village. The purpose of this community service is to train the entrepreneurs about preparing and making simple financial report. This community service is consist of four steps which started by pre survey then followed by UMKM survey, pre training and training activities. After participating in the training, the entrepreneurs have shown understanding about the importance of financial report, and have gained ability to prepare a standard financial report for their business. Abstrak — Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dilaksanakan di Desa Petungsewu Kecamatan Wagir Kabupaten Malang sebagai Desa Mitra, dengan fokus pada pemberdayaan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) dupa. Masalah yang dihadapi pengrajin dupa di desa Mitra adalah masih menghasilkan dupa mentah, kesulitan pemasaran sehingga pendapatan usaha masih rendah. Tujuan program adalah untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat pengrajin dupa melalui diversifikasi produk yaitu menghasilkan produk dupa wangi kemasan, dan penerapan strategi pemasaran produk dengan pola kemitraan. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan produksi dupa wangi kemasan, penciptaan merek dagang, dan merintis kemitraan dengan pelaku usaha dupa yang sudah berhasil. Pelatihan dan pendampingan dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari pengembangan hasil produksi atau diversifikasi produk, sehingga tidak hanya memproduksi dupa setengah jadi, tetapi mampu menghasilkan produk jadi dikemas dan siap dijual. Pola kemitraan yang dilakukan dengan cara perdagangan umum dalam bentuk kerjasama pemasaran, produk dari pengrajin dupa dari desa mitra disetorkan kepada pelaku usaha mitra untuk dijual. Hasil kegiatan pengrajin dupa sudah mampu menghasilkan dupa wangi kemasan dengan merk Gunung Katu sebagai produk unggulan, produk dupa wangi Gunung Katu mulai dikenal pasar, dan memperoleh nilai tambah usaha berupa peningkatan pendapatan.Abstract — Community service activities are carried out in Petungsewu Village, Wagir District, Malang Regency as Mitra Village, with a focus on empowering incense micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The problem faced by incense craftsmen in Mitra village is that it still produces raw incense, marketing difficulties so that business income is still low. The aim of the program is to increase the income of the community of incense craftsmen through product diversification, namely producing fragrant incense packaging products, and implementing a product marketing strategy with a partnership pattern. The method applied is training and mentoring the production of fragrant incense packaging, creating trademarks, and initiating partnerships with successful incense businesses. Training and assistance are carried out as part of the development of production or product diversification, so that not only producing semi-finished incense, but able to produce finished products that are packaged and ready for sale. The partnership pattern is carried out by means of general trading in the form of marketing cooperation, products from incense craftsmen from partner villages are deposited to partner business actors for sale. The results of the incense craftsman activity has been able to produce incense fragrance packaging with the Gunung Katu brand as a superior product, Gunung

The study focuses on “perception towards regulatory burden on small and medium enterprise performance” in Shashemene town, west Arsi zone, Oromia regional state, Ethiopia. The study adopted a qualitative research approach to address broad objective through answering research questions developed by a researchers. Specifically, this study used questionnaire to collect data from SMEs business owners, managers and employees and in-depth interview conducted. Data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The information obtained from a samples of the 140 small and medium enterprise and through face-to-face interview of 10 owners of SMEs business. The respondents were selected using stratified sampling techniques. The result of the study show that small and medium enterprise challenges from different factors as they perceived from the challenges of regulatory burden and identifies mechanisms used to mitigate problems from regulatory burden and how much the regulators have smooth contact with them and to what extent regulators made inspections. Moreover, the result indicated the perception of SMEs businesses towards regulatory burden. As a whole, the study suggests a series of measures should be taken by government policy, makers and regulators for SMEs performance. Researchers’ conclude and recommend that government bodies, Small and medium enterprise business owners, managers, employees and policy makers should focus on regulation to reduce regulatory burden on small and medium enterprises.

<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakan ini adalah agar setelah mengikuti kegiatan para peserta yakni pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki kemampuan untuk memahami dan menyusun laporan keuangan dasar yang terdiri dari laporan laba-rugi, laporan posisi keuangan, dan laporan perubahan modal. </p><p>Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan yang meliputi ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, serta latihan soal-soal. Materi pelatihan berupa modul penyusunan laporan keuangan dasar. Peserta pelatihan adalah para pelaku UMKM Jakarta Selatan. Analisis terhadap kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan skor terhadap latihan soal-soal yang diberikan kepada para peserta. </p><p>Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa pelatihan telah berjalan efektif. Training materials were a module of the preparation of basic financial statement. The participants of this training were the entrepreneurs of MSME of South Jakarta. The activity was analyzed by scoring the exercises delivered to the participants. </em></p><p><em>The results shows that the training is effective. This research is aimed to evaluate  the implementation of Micro, Small and medium enterprise development Program in PT Freeport Indonesia. The method used for this research was qualitative descriptive, using CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation model. Primary data was obtain through interviews and observation, and secondary data document study. The results showed that Program Context, Input and process were classified as high category, while   outcomes as moderate categories. The overall evaluation shows Moderate categories.The Program was rendered effective to achieve the goal of enhancing the Micro, Small and Medium enterprise Development.It should be continued and further enhanced by the management to acquire better enterprise graduates.Keywords: Evaluation of Program, Micro, small and medium enterprise, PT Freeport Indonesia

In India micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the development of economy through their contribution to GDP, employment generation, regional development, export promotion, etc. Irrespective of the achievements of the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector, there are certain issues which eclipse desired growth. Availability of ample and timely credit at reasonable rate of interest is vital for the development of these sectors. There seems to be a gap between demand for and supply of the bank credit to SMEs. The delay in processing of credit and the rate of rejections discourage the borrowers from applying for credit. Hence, this article aims to analyse the discouragement faced by MSME loan applicants from the evidence of rejections and delays in advancing loans in Jorhat district in the state of Assam in India.

Abstract This study aims to fulfill duties in community service activities in order to help the community in solving problems related to MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). The place for community service activities is in the Ekawira UMKM Gallery which provides various regional souvenirs from Kare Village, Kare District, Madiun Regency, East Java. Ekawira UMKM Gallery is chaired by Mrs. Hesti Purwanti. One of the products produced at the Ekawira UMKM Gallery is typical curry pia. This product is neatly packaged and already has a brand, but the marketing is only sold in the area around the Kare area, not yet out of town or through existing social media. This is a problem faced by these MSMEs. Therefore, the purpose of holding this community service is to help the Ekawira UMKM Gallery in marketing its products, by providing several sales/promotion media solutions to make it easier in terms of marketing. The marketing solution provided is by doing digital marketing, how to promote it through social media such as Instagram, creating a page on Facebook and creating a product website for the Ekawira UMKM Gallery which aims to make this product known by many people and more consumers who buy it.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memenuhi tugas dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat agar bisa membantu masyarakat dalam memecahkan masalah-masalah yang berkaitan dengan UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah). Tempat kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berada di Galeri UMKM Ekawira yang menyediakan aneka oleh-oleh daerah khas Desa Kare, Kecamatan Kare, Kabupaten Madiun, Jawa Timur. Galeri UMKM Ekawira diketuai oleh ibu Hesti Purwanti. Salah satu produk yang di hasilkan di Galeri UMKM Ekawira adalah pia khas Kare. Produk ini sudah di kemas dengan rapi dan sudah memiliki merek, namun  pemasarannya hanya dijual di daerah sekitar daerah Kare saja, belum sampai keluar kota maupun melalui media sosial yang ada. Hal ini menjadi masalah yang dihadapi oleh UMKM tersebut. Karena itu, tujuan diadakan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk membantu Galeri UMKM Ekawira dalam memasarkan produknya, dengan memberikan beberapa solusi media penjualan/promosi untuk mempermudah dalam hal pemasaran. Solusi pemasaran yang diberikan yaitu,dengan melakukan digital marketing caranya mempromosikan melalui media sosial seperti instagram, pembuatan laman pada facebook dan pembuatan laman web produk Galeri UMKM Ekawira yang bertujuan agar produk ini di ketahui oleh banyak orang  dan lebih banyak lagi konsumen yang membelinya.

This chapter is designed to address the primary difficulties small and medium enterprises face when doing business online with international partners. The guidance provided in this chapter is primarily for at owners of small and medium enterprises rather than legal professionals. The two main problems inhibiting online transactions are a lack of trust between the parties and the risk inherent in the transaction. This chapter analyzes ways to address these problems. Many of the practical suggestions in this chapter are inspired not by million dollar deals but by playground transactions between children. Often the simple solutions are the best ones.

ABSTRAKIndustri Kecil Menengah atau Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kota Salatiga sebanyak 1.969 unit usaha dan menyerap 14.647 orang tenaga kerja. Akan tetapi terdapat beberapa hal yang masih perlu ditingkatkan pada UMKM di Kota Salatiga adalah metode promosi, efisiensi serta efektifitas proses bisnis penjualan serta distribusi. Oleh karena itu pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Mayarakat (PKM) dilakukan pembangunan marketplace dengan mitra Dinas Koperasi, Usaha Kecil, dan Menengah (DinkopUKM) Kota Salatiga untuk memberdayakan para pelaku UMKM di Kota Salatiga. Selain itu pada PKM ini juga dilakukan pelatihan kepada para pelaku UMKM se-kota Salatiga terkait penggunaan marketplace yang dibangun. Dari evaluasi kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan metode observasi didapatkan bahwa kemauan para peserta untuk mempelajari dan beradaptasi menggunakan marketplace cukup besar meskipun kebanyakan dari para pelaku UMKM tersebut kurang dalam penguasaan teknologi informasi. Kata kunci: marketplace; UMKM; promosi. ABSTRACTSmall and Medium Industries or Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Salatiga City totaling 1,969 business units and absorbing 14,647 workers. However, there are several things that still need to be improved at MSMEs in Salatiga, namely promotion methods, efficiency and effectiveness of the sales and distribution business processes. Therefore, in the Community Service activity, a marketplace was built with partners from Dinas Koperasi, Usaha Kecil dan Menengah Kota Salatiga (DinkopUKM) to empower MSME subjects in the City of Salatiga. Besides that, this community service also conducted training for MSME subjects throughout the city of Salatiga regarding the use of the marketplace that was built. From the evaluation of activities carried out by the observational method, it was found that the participants' willingness to learn and adapt to using the marketplace was quite large, even though most of the MSME actors were less mastery of information technology. Keywords: marketplace; MSMEs; promotion.
