Herbal medicine is a medicine from natural ingredients whose properties have not been scientifically proven, in other words, it has not been subjected to clinical or clinical trials, but its properties are trusted by people based on experience. And at this time many herbal products are marketed in general, and not a few people are confused to choose the right herbal medicine according to their circumstances, so people have to consult or ask before choosing, and make the store experience a long queue on customers. Therefore an expert system is needed for herbal medicine so that people can choose the right herbal medicine according to their circumstances or conditions, and this system can reduce the queue at the herbal medicine shop customers. Expert system built in this study uses the forward chaining method. Case study for the system that is "Pasuruan herbal shop fan" which contained 70 types of herbal medicine, the results of tests conducted by this system are in accordance with the diagnosis.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a broad impact on all sectors of life in Indonesia, including the economic sector. Not a few business sectors are experiencing losses and even bankruptcy. Therefore, business actors must be able to implement and develop certain strategies in order to survive and gain profits both in the midst of the pandemic storm and after the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to obtain information about the strategies of Herbal and Herbal Medicine business players in Sehat Basamo in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative design with a case study approach. Research informants are sellers of herbs and herbal medicine Sehat Basamo as many as 4 people who were selected by purposive sampling. In addition, 4 informants were selected who are loyal customers at the Sehat Basamo outlet. The research was carried out in March-April 2021 at four locations of Sehat Basamo outlets in Samarinda City. The data and information obtained were then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study obtained information that all Healthy Basamo herbal and herbal outlets and customers who visited Sehat Basamo outlets complied with the Covid-19 health protocol according to the government's appeal in controlling the spread of the Covid-19 rate. In addition to complying with health protocols, the Herbal and herbal medicine business of Sehat Basamo has also been proven to be able to survive in the midst of a pandemic and even continue to benefit from the sales of its products. The success of the owner of the Healthy Basamo herbal and herbal outlet in maintaining business continuity and still making profits in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic by implementing a strategy that is consistent attitude in product presentation, not increasing product prices, friendliness and courtesy of sellers and ensuring the availability of product supply. Sales of herbal and herbal products from Sehat Basamo are carried out face-to-face with buyers and the financial accounting management is still manual. Therefore, sellers of Herbal and Jamu Sehat Basamo can take advantage of currently available technology and information both to increase product sales results and in managing digital-based business financial accounting (digital accounting) which is available in various application software.

Abstract— Air Conditioner (AC) is a system or machine designed to stabilize the air and air temperatures that cover a certain area. This study discusses how to find ways to improve Android-based system applications for air protection in Air Conditioning (AC), this method is used as a support in making decisions on damage to Air Conditioner (AC) on the main components, supporting components, electrical components and cooling materials (Refrigerant) in Air Conditioner (AC). To design the application, an expert system is needed. Expert system itself is a computer system that emulates the ability of human expertise (Sri Hartati and Sari Iswanti, 2008: 152). The purpose of this study is to be able to produce an expert system application that can help technicians to improve damage to the Air Conditioner (AC) so that users of Air Conditioning (AC) can also understand the damage that occurs in Air Conditioners (AC). The research inference method used in this expert system uses the Android-based Forward Chaining method. Forward Chaining is a strategy in finding data by collecting data or facts which will then be concluded to find the right solution or event to solve a problem. The shell expert system used is McGoo which will then be adopted into the Thunkable Android application. With the existence of this expert system aims to identify damage to the Air Conditioner (AC) and used as material in making decisions to help the users, especially the technicians in diagnosing the damage that is in the Air Conditioner (AC). The results of this study indicate that the existence of a hierarchy of decisions to detect damage to the Air Conditioner (AC) can be applied in the society and from the results of application testing it can be concluded that the application of this expert system will be a tool for users of Air Conditioners and technicians to diagnose damage to Air Conditioner (AC).

AbstrakBerbagai penyakit pada manusia dapat menimbulkan masalah serius jika tidak cepat ditangani, seperti halnya penyakit THT (Telinga, Hidung, dan Tenggorokan). Penderita penyakit THT di Indonesia cukup tinggi, karena masyarakat sering menganggap remeh penyakit THT dan kurangnya informasi mengenai penyakit tersebut. Perlu adanya sistem yang memberikan informasi mengenai gejala pada penyakit THT dan jenis penyakit apa saja yang diderita, serta solusi apa yang tepat untuk menangani penyakit THT. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa penyakit THT. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan dua metode, yaitu metode ketidakpastian menggunakan Dempster Shafer dan metode penelusuran yaitu Forward Chaining. Langkah pengembangan diawali dari pengumpulan data, lalu pembuatan Rule Based, mengimplementasikan metode, dan melakukan pengujian akurasi pakar. Hasil penelitan ini adalah sistem pakar mendiagnosa penyakit THT sebanyak 7 jenis penyakit dengan gejala sebanyak 24 jenis. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode Dempster Shafer untuk mendapatkan nilai kepastian berupa persentase nilai kepastian pada hasil diagnosa penyakitnya. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pakar, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem pakar memiliki tingkat kesamaan dengan pakar sebesar 85% yang berarti bahwa sistem pakar ini layak untuk digunakan.AbstractVarious diseases in humans can cause serious problems if not quickly handled, such as ENT diseases (ear, nose, and throat). People with ENT disease in Indonesia is quite high, because people often consider the condition of ENT disease and lack of information about the disease. There is a system that provides information about the symptoms in ENT diseases and what types of diseases suffered, as well as what is the right solution to handle ENT diseases. The subject in this study is an expert system for diagnosing ENT diseases. The study used two methods, namely the uncertainty method using Putty Shafer and the search method that is Forward Chaining. The development step starts from collecting data, then creating a Rule Based, implementing methods, and conducting expert accuracy testing. The results of this research is a system of experts diagnose ENT diseases as many as 7 types of diseases with the symptoms as much as 24 types. This research also uses the method of putty Shafer to get certainty of the percentage value of certainty in the diagnosis of diseases. Based on expert testing results, it can be concluded that an expert system has a level of similarity with experts at 85% which means that the expert system is worthy of use.

The skin is the outer protective organ for humans. Skin is the most interacting layer with the environment. Interactions that occur are not always safe against bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites, so they will cause harm. Poor interactions will result in skin diseases. This skin disease is often considered normal, but can be dangerous and deadly and contagious. Due to the natural conditions and lack of medical personnel, sufferers of skin diseases have problems in examining their skin diseases. So this research was conducted by using an Expert System (Expert System) to help sufferers of skin diseases and help get solutions to these diseases. The solution obtained from the symptoms felt by sufferers. The method used in this study is Forward Chaining (FC) and processed using the Certainty Factor (CF) Method. The results of this study can determine the right initial steps in dealing with infectious skin diseases. So this research is very helpful for sufferers in knowing the type of skin disease, the solution in its prevention and its prevention precisely.

Clinical trial eligibility criteria are important for selecting the right participants for clinical trials. However, they are often complex and not computable. This paper presents the participatory design of a human-computer collaboration method for criteria simplification that includes natural language processing followed by user-centered eligibility criteria simplification. A case study on the ARCADIA trial shows how criteria were simplified for structured database querying by clinical researchers and identifies rules for criteria simplification and concept normalization.

Student learning modalities are important to be identified by teachers and students. Because the success of students in the field of academics is supported by the appropriate student learning modalities. Often occurs in the process of teaching and learning teachers do not know the modalities of student learning so that the material in teaching teachers difficult to accept by students. Appropriate learning modalities that are in accordance with the methods taught by the teacher need to be built in an Expert System. Expert System that is processed in this research is taken from the expertise of teachers of Senior High School Counseling Guidance 1 Tilatang Kamang by using Forward Chaining method. Learning modalities are processed using expert systems created with php programming languages ​​and mysql databases. Furthermore, this expert system can determine the modalities of visual learning, auditory and kinesthetic. The result of testing on this method is able to determine the learning modality in the students with the accuracy and the speed is good. Expert system test results have been able to determine student learning modalities clearly and can already be recommended to help teachers and students in improving the way students learn the right.

Reproductive health is a state of mental health, physical and social welfare as a whole in all related to the systems and functions and processes and not just conditions that are free from disease and disability and are formed based on legal marriage, able to meet the proper spiritual and material needs, devoted to God Almighty, spiritual have a harmonious, harmonious, balanced relationship between family members and between family and society and the environment. Reproductive health includes three components, namely: ability, success, and safety. Expert system is the right answer to the above problems because the expert system is a system designed to be able to imitate the expertise of an expert or expert in answering questions and solving a problem. Problem-solving is given to users through dialogue with them so that helps someone who is not an expert in answering questions, solving problems and making decisions that are usually done by an expert. The method used in knowledge representation is forward chaining. The results provide the possibility of venereal disease experienced by the user, the diagnosis in this system is done by the user filling out complaints or symptoms experienced when using this system. The results of the design will be made using the Delphi 7 Programming Language because it can create application programs that match the user-friendly appearance.

Background: Uric acid is a problem in the elderly, with symptoms of joint and heel pain every time you wake up in the morning, stiff on the fingers and toes and swelling and redness. The incidence of gout in the elderly accounted for 47 cases in Hatra R. One of the actions that can reduce uric acid levels is herbal medicine. Sidaguri types of herbs, kepel and bay leaves containing flavonoids, ethanol and hexane can inhibit the activity of xanthine oxidase enzymes that have the potential to reduce uric acid levels in the blood. The purpose of this study was to determine the service of herbal medicine in Mrs. S with high blood uric acid levels. Methods: This research is a descriptive type with a case study approach to 1 client with characteristics of pain in the right waist to the knee. Data collection techniques using the assessment of herbal services. Data validity test is done by triangulation technique based on source triangulation, namely getting information from the client, family, supporting examinations brought by the client, then technique trangulation is by interview and observation and time triangulation namely by checking the data carried out in an iterative time to get the results of the decline uric acid levels in the blood. Results:  The results showed that the client's condition is the level of uric acid in the blood to be normal and the pain in the right knee to heal and be able to walk normally so the problem is resolved. Interventions conducted on the client are assessment, determining the problem with the client, determining planning, providing herbal medicine and evaluating services. The results of the evaluation of the action showed that the problem was resolved by decreasing the level of uric acid in the blood. Conclusion: The service of herbal medicine in Ny.S with increased levels of uric acid in the blood can reduce uric acid levels in the blood.

Humans as social beings who must interact with various other individual character types must have emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is not the same person, intelligence is influenced by the family environment, age, and physical. High or low emotional intelligence influences how to interact and work. Individuals who have low emotional intelligence tend to have individualistic traits and cannot work together in teams, for that every company or agency needs to conduct tests on prospective employees. IQ and EQ tests conducted by companies to prospective employees so far have been done manually, so that problems often occur such as the test taker takes a long time to correct answer sheets, errors in calculating scores and reports of long test results when the test participants are in the amount big. Given the company's mistakes are often too late and wrong in making decisions to accept the right employees, for that we need to make an expert system that can help companies in conducting EQ tests for the selection process of prospective employees in accordance with the desired criteria. Expert system that is designed using the method of forward chaining is a method of searching or tracking information starting from existing information and combined with the rules to get a conclusion. Expert System Design uses an object oriented approach and PHP programming language so that it can be used to help companies, especially in the Human Resource Department (HRD) in the selection of prospective employees.

Frequent fires can occur in or like buildings of buildings or high rise buildings. The losses incurred by the fire disaster are enormous. Care and maintenance standards for diesel engine pumps must be observed. All technicians must have expertise in the maintenance and maintenance of the diesel pump engine. Such expertise can be obtained from official training conducted by the education center, reading guidelines for dealing with diesel pump engine damage obtained from diesel pump manufacturing plants and additional knowledge gained from learning while attending education and training. In this study the researchers set "Symptoms of Damage to the diesel engine of the Fire Pump" as a variable. The expert system application detects web-based diesel pump damage with a forward chaining method that has been made, after conducting an expert analysis test then testing the user's response to this expert system application, the test is carried out by consulting using this expert system application. Expert systems are components and elements that are combined into one to achieve certain goals. The system design is done after analyzing the diesel pump damage data and designing a web-based expert system. Chaining forward method is a method of inference that makes sense from a problem to a solution. Damage to the diesel pump by using the forward chaining method provides the right solution of the problem at hand. Based on these suggestions it can be concluded that an expert system detects damage to a web-based diesel pump that has been made can help all users in analyzing the problem based on consultation
