The purpose of the research entitled "Designing Java-Based Library Application Programs at the AL-MUHAJIRIN Middle School Library" which was designed with Netbeans IDE, XAMPP, and MySQL as the database, namely to assist the processes of transaction activities in the library and facilitate librarians in making student data reports, book data, loan data, return data, so there is no need to use paper media anymore. The design of this library application program goes through several stages, namely the requirements stage, the analysis stage, the design stage and implementation stage, and the deployment stage. In the process of making research reports and collecting data, the authors use qualitative research methods in the form of literature studies, observations and interviews conducted at Al-Muhajirin Junior High School located in Depok. To analyze this application, the author uses object-oriented analysis with Unified Modeling Language (UML).

We present methods for building a Java Runtime-Alterable-Model Platform (RAMP) of complex dynamical systems. We illustrate our methods by building a multivariant SEIR (epidemic) RAMP. Underlying our RAMP is an individual-based model that includes adaptive contact rates, pathogen genetic drift, waning and cross-immunity. Besides allowing parameter values, process descriptions and scriptable runtime drivers to be easily modified during simulations, our RAMP can used within R-Studio and other computational platforms. Process descriptions that can be runtime altered within our SEIR RAMP include pathogen variant-dependent host shedding, environmental persistence, host transmission and within-host pathogen mutation and replication. They also include adaptive social distancing and adaptive application of vaccination rates and variant-valency of vaccines. We present simulation results using parameter values and process descriptions relevant to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Our results suggest that if waning immunity outpaces vaccination rates, then vaccination rollouts may fail to contain the most transmissible variants, particularly if vaccine valencies are not adapted to deal with escape mutations. Our SEIR RAMP is designed for easy use by others. More generally, our RAMP concept facilitates construction of highly flexible complex systems models of all types, which can then be easily shared as stand-alone application programs.

To achieve the objectives of the Internal Quality Assurance System, the Quality Standard document must be socialized to each work unit, and the existence of information technology will greatly assist in the distribution and socialization of these documents. This study aims to design and build a data model for storage and management of SPMI documents, especially Standard documents, which are generally in the form of files in print or digital format with a complete structure as a collection of text. With the data model designed, the Standard document is stored in a divided state into a number of entities that represent sub-sections of the document and are structured. This research produces a data model design with a relational system, so that it will produce optimal performance when create, retrieve, update and delete operations are carried out on Standard Documents, and still produce complete information about standard documents, as well as one aspect or context. in Standard documents and their linkages, through application programs and information systems. Testing was carried out by the black-box method of the SPMI document information system prototype which indicated that the data model was successfully implemented and worked well in its application.

ABSTRACT Information on nutritional management of pitaya crops are scarce. However, understanding the growth and nutrient accumulation in these plants at different developmental stages can assist in the development of rational soil fertilizer application programs for pitaya crops and decrease production costs. Thus, the objective of this work was to evaluate the growth and nutrient accumulation in pitaya plants throughout the crop cycle. Cladodes of pitaya plants of the Hylocereus setaceus species were grown in polyethylene pots containing a Typic Hapludult (Argissolo Vermelho-Amarelo Eutrófico) under full sun. The treatments consisted of six sampling times: 0, 60, 120, 180, 240, 300, and 360 days after planting (DAP). A randomized block experimental design with four replications was used. Four plants were sampled and evaluated for growth and nutrient accumulation at each sampling time. The pitaya plants presented an exponential growth up to 360 DAP and high nutrient absorption between 300 and 360 DAP. The nutrient and Na accumulations in the cladodes, in decreasing order, were: 3.91 (K), 2.56 (Ca), 1.95 (N), 1.24 (P), 0.45 (Mg), 0.30 (S), and 0.06 (Na) g plant-1, and 14.86 (Zn), 12.72 (Fe), 12.37 (Mn), 5.37 (B), and 1.04 (Cu) mg plant-1. The highest relative growth rate and relative nutrient absorption rate were found between 60 and 120 DAP.

Volunteer computing uses millions of consumer computing devices (desktop and laptop computers, tablets, phones, appliances, and cars) to do high-throughput scientific computing. It can provide Exa-scale capacity, and it is a scalable and sustainable alternative to data-center computing. Currently, about 30 science projects use volunteer computing in areas ranging from biomedicine to cosmology. Each project has application programs with particular hardware and software requirements (memory, GPUs, VM support, and so on). Each volunteered device has specific hardware and software capabilities, and each device owner has preferences for which science areas they want to support. This leads to a scheduling problem: how to dynamically assign devices to projects in a way that satisfies various constraints and that balances various goals. We describe the scheduling policy used in Science United, a global manager for volunteer computing.

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic that is caused by the SARS-CoV2 has spread all over the world. It is an infectious disease that can spread from person to person. The severity of the disease can be categorized into five categories namely asymptomatic, mild, moderate, severe, and critical. From the reported cases thus, it has been seen that 80% of the cases that test positive with COVID-19 infection have less than moderate complications, whereas 20% of the positive cases develop severe and critical complications. The virus infects the lungs of an individual, therefore, it has been observed that the X-ray and computed tomography (CT) scan images of the infected people can be used by the machine learning-based application programs to predict the presence of the infection. Therefore, in the proposed work, a Convolutional Neural Network model based upon the DenseNet architecture is being used to predict the presence of COVID-19 infection using the CT scan images of the chest. The proposed work has been carried out using the dataset of the CT images from the COVID CT Dataset. It has 349 images marked as COVID-19 positive and 397 images have been marked as COVID-19 negative. The proposed system can categorize the test set images with an accuracy of 91.4%. The proposed method is capable of detecting the presence of COVID-19 infection with good accuracy using the chest CT scan images of the humans.

Data from the Ministry of Health from the 2014 Sample Registration Survey states that diabetes has become the 3rd largest cause of death in Indonesia, with a percentage of 6.7%, after stroke (21.1%) and coronary heart disease (12.9%). Data from Riskesdas 2013 (Kemenkes RI, 2013), 90% of total diabetes cases are type 2 diabetes, which generally occurs in adults. However, in recent years, it is increasingly found in adults less than 30 years, even in children and adolescents. Indonesia is the largest Muslim country in the world. The total population of Indonesia 258 million 87.2% are Muslims. As Muslim citizens, they are obliged to carry out various acts of worship, including fasting in the month of Ramadan, Hajj and Umrah. During fasting, diabetic patients do not eat during the day which may lead to a tendency to overeat at night. This puts the patient 5 times more likely to develop hyperglycemia and 7 times more likely to develop hypoglycemia. Educational activities for mobile-based application programs for diabetes as a provision for carrying out the Hajj and Umrah fasting services have been carried out by 348 participants with various participants including doctors, health students, nurses and housewives. Applications have also been distributed on the Google Play Store so that the wider community will find it easier to download, install and use the application anywhere, anytime via an internet connection.

Boron (B) and zinc (Zn) are essential micronutrients of plant nutrition programs in orchards for securing the crop quality and yield. Although orchard supplementation with B and Zn is a common practice to overcome deficiencies or maintain their optimal levels, the efficiency of combined B and Zn spraying in relation to European hazelnut (Corylus avellana L.) phenological stage has not been investigated so far. Leaf and kernel mineral and functional traits were studied in cultivar Tonda di Giffoni after B and Zn spraying in four phenological stages. During the 2016/2017 season, 9-year-old trees were sprayed with B (0, 800, and 1,600 mg L−1) and Zn (0, 400, and 800 mg L−1) under three treatments: B0+Zn0, B800+Zn400, and B1600+Zn800 implemented in three spring application programs scheduled from October to December (P1: four times, P2: early two times, and P3: late two times). B and Zn treatments in P1 and P3 led to higher Zn concentration both in leaves and in kernels compared with non-sprayed trees. Stabilized nut production increased 2.5-fold under B800+Zn400 in all three programs. Kernel/nut ratio improved in both B+Zn treatments in P1 and P3, while the percentage of blank nuts was reduced compared with B0+Zn0. Increased radical scavenging activity in B+Zn-treated kernels and leaves was not attributed to the accumulation of phenolics in P3 compared with B0+Zn0, whereas B and Zn spraying reduced the level of lipid peroxidation in both studied organs. According to the results, combined B and Zn should be sprayed at the end of spring (P3) on hazelnut plantations in temperate areas such as Southern Chile, whereas early applications (P2) showed an irregularity in nut production and functional traits in nuts. Moderate and partialized rates of B and Zn and the time of implementation contribute to improving the quantitative and qualitative features crucial for future sustainable hazelnut production.
