Hypotension in the middle ear can cause serious diseases and hearing disorders. Until now, pressure in the middle ear is measured indirectly by using the impedance of the tympanic membrane (tympanometry). Direct methods are just described in scientific studies and would be harmful in clinical routine. Here, we demonstrate a bio-compatible pressure sensor, which can resolve pressure changes in the range of −7.5 kPa up to +7.5 kPa, and due to its compact design (area of 2 × 4 mm2), can be directly implanted in the human middle ear. Furthermore, the read-out of the pressure sensor can be conveniently done using wireless data communication technologies employing a plate capacitor with an elastic dielectric for pressure monitoring and a planar coil. Thus, our sensor allows for direct pressure measurements in the middle ear, avoiding additional surgeries after device implantation.

Background: In order to study the interference of wired transmission mode on robot motion, a mobile robot attitude calculation and debugging system based on radio frequency (RF) technology is proposed. Methods: Microcontroller STM32 has been used as the control core for the attitude information of the robot by using MEMS gyroscope and accelerometer. The optimal attitude Angle of the robot is calculated through nRF24L01 which is the core of the wireless communication module, attitude acquisition module and wireless data communication upper computer application platform. Results: The results shows that the positioning accuracy is better than±5mm. Conclusion: The experimental results show that the proposed attitude solving and debugging system of mobile robot based on RF technology has better reliability and real-time performance. The propped model is convenient for debugging of mobile robot system and has certain engineering application value.

It discusses the reasons of the data transmission time delay and packets loss based on the theory of net data transmission. Aimed to the question of the time delay of data transmission and packets loss, the control system models are set up to analyze their influence to the performance of the control system. Based on the synchronous control model analysis with wireless data transmission, a method to control the system is reached with the state prediction when the communication error or data loss appears. It can control constantly when communication errors appear, and also it can get the most error period by numerical analysis.

AbstractA low-range pressure sensor (0-100kPa) based on the P(VDF-TrFE) piezoelectric thin film is proposed, where the long-term drift is eliminated by operating near the piezoelectric resonance. The pressure sensor is designed for blood pressure and tissue swelling pressure monitoring. The poled 50μm±1μm P(VDF-TrFE) copolymer film is used as the sensing element, with all fabrication and assembly materials biocompatible. A modified Butterworth-Van Dyke (BVD) [1] equivalent circuit model is used to characterize the sensor behavior. The pressure sensor exhibits negligible drift in weeks of operation. The device shows a sensitivity of 0.038MHz/kPa resonance frequency shift under stress, which leads to a maximum readout change of 1.1%/kPa in the present setup.

In this paper the used conception relies upon eliminating above problems and observing those facts continuously using pressure sensor with the help of some devices and wireless modules such as zigbee or rf-transreciever and also STM32 on-chip computer. A different mouth is distended other than conventional muzzle within that device is found which communicate via wireless apparatus and obtained with the help of the wireless module such as zigbee gift out of doors and also the signal is been dispatched to on-chip computer which computer screen units and unveil the strain name (name of tire) and actual strain on a screen monitor which notify the person to fill the air in tire. With the use of this system the user of the vehicle can eliminate the wheel is alignment and supply protection to the vehicle.

Currently, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) only monitors the condition of a tire pressure. However, there are no particular reactions taking place after the value of its tire pressure is discovered. In fact, the value of a tire pressure determines driving comfort and safety Therefore, this research proposed a method to integrate a TPMS and a Pressure Sensor Base (PSB) with a particular reaction required to fulfill tires automatically. The proposed TPMS has an electronic device unit directly attached to a tire’s valve. This unit includes pressure sensors, microcontrollers, Bluetooth transmitters and batteries. An alert system is generated whenever tire pressure exceeds the maximum or minimum safe pressure level. Moreover, if the pressure measured is below the lowest level of the desired pressure, it will automatically activate the compressor. Several experiments have been carried out to analyze the proposed system. The integrated TPMS has proven to be able to be an alternative tool for the automotive sector to keep maintaining the tires and to improve a driving comfort and safety.

We present a meandered triple-band planar-inverted-F antenna (PIFA) for integration into brain-implantable biotelemetric systems. The target applications are wireless data communication, far-field wireless power transfer, and switching control between sleep/wake-up mode at the Medical Device Radiocommunication Service (MedRadio) band (401–406 MHz) and Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) bands (902–928 MHz and 2400–2483.5 MHz), respectively. By embedding meandered slots into the radiator and shorting it to the ground, we downsized the antenna to the volume of 11 × 20.5 × 1.8 mm3. We optimized the antenna using a 7-layer numerical human head model using full-wave electromagnetic field simulation. In the simulation, we placed the implant in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) at a depth of 13.25 mm from the body surface, which is deeper than in most works on implantable antennas. We manufactured and tested the antenna in a liquid phantom which we replicated in the simulator for further comparison. The measured gain of the antenna reached the state-of-the-art values of −43.6 dBi, −25.8 dBi, and −20.1 dBi at 402 MHz, 902 MHz, and 2400 MHz, respectively.
