In this research article, we introduce a new class of hybrid Langevin equation involving two distinct fractional order derivatives in the Caputo sense and Riemann–Liouville fractional integral. Supported by three-point boundary conditions, we discuss the existence of a solution to this boundary value problem. Because of the important role of the measure of noncompactness in fixed point theory, we use the technique of measure of noncompactness as an essential tool in order to get the existence result. The modern analysis technique is used by applying a generalized version of Darbo’s fixed point theorem. A numerical example is presented to clarify our outcomes.

AbstractIn [18], Matthews introduced a new class of metric spaces, that is, the concept of partial metric spaces, or equivalently, weightable quasi-metrics, are investigated to generalize metric spaces (X, d), to develop and to introduce a new fixed point theory. In partial metric spaces, the self-distance for any point need not be equal to zero. In this paper, we study some results for single map satisfying (ψ,φ)-weakly contractive condition in partial metric spaces endowed with partial order. An example is given to support the useability of our results.

The aim of this research work is to find out some results in fixed point theory for a pair of families of multivalued mappings fulfilling a new type of U -contractions in modular-like metric spaces. Some new results in graph theory for multigraph-dominated contractions in modular-like metric spaces are developed. An application has been presented to ensure the uniqueness and existence of a solution of families of nonlinear integral equations.

In this paper, we present a new class of pseudo Picard operators in the setting of generalized metric spaces introduced recently in [M. Jleli and B. Samet: A generalized metric space and related fixed point theorems, Fixed Point Theory Appl., (2015) 2015:61]. An example is provided to illustrate the main result.

This paper deals with some existence of mild solutions for two classes of impulsive integrodifferential equations in Banach spaces. Our results are based on the fixed point theory and the concept of measure of noncompactness with the help of the resolvent operator. Two illustrative examples are given in the last section.

In the present paper, firstly, we review the notion of the SO-complete metric spaces. This notion let us to consider some fixed point theorems for single-valued mappings in incomplete metric spaces. Secondly, as motivated by the recent work of H. Baghani et al.(A fixed point theorem for a new class of set-valued mappings in R-complete (not necessarily complete) metric spaces, Filomat, 31 (2017), 3875-3884), we obtain the results of Ansari et al. [J. Fixed Point Theory Appl. (2017), 1145-1163] with very much weaker conditions. Also, we provide some examples show that our main theorem is a generalization of previous results. Finally, we give an application to the boundary value system for our results.

In this work we establish some existence results for abstract second order Cauchy problems modeled by a retarded differential inclusion involving nonlocal and impulsive conditions. Our results are obtained by using fixed point theory for the measure of noncompactness.

We introduce a new class of mappings satisfying the “common limit range property” in symmetric spaces and utilize the same to establish common fixed point theorems for such mappings in symmetric spaces. Our results generalize and improve some recent results contained in the literature of metric fixed point theory. Some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements are also furnished.

By using ordered fixed point theory, we set up a new class of GNOVI structures (general nonlinear ordered variational inclusions) with(γG,λ)-weak-GRD mappings, discuss an existence theorem of solution, consider a perturbed Ishikawa iterative algorithm and the convergence of iterative sequences generated by the algorithm, and show the stability of algorithm for GNOVI structures in positive Hilbert spaces. The results in the instrument are obtained.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce the class of enriched multivalued contraction mappings. Both single-valued and multivalued enriched contractions are defined by means of symmetric inequalities. Our main result extends and generalizes the recent result of Berinde and Păcurar (Approximating fixed points of enriched contractions in Banach spaces, Journal of Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 22 (2), 1–10, 2020). We also study a data dependence problem of the fixed point set and Ulam–Hyers stability of the fixed point problem for enriched multivalued contraction mappings. Applications of the results obtained to the problem of the existence of a solution of differential inclusions and dynamic programming are presented.
