Petroleum agriculture, characterized by mechanization and chemistry, is developing rapidly in China. However, petroleum agriculture has not only brought food safety problems, but also caused great obstacles to the sustainable development of society. In view of the disadvantages of oil agriculture, we provide an upgrading plan for energy systems in agriculture. This work can help reduce carbon emissions and improve food security. We introduce the most advanced technologies in Chinese agricultural development and the technical scope includes new agricultural energy power generation, agricultural energy use and the safe operation of agricultural energy systems. We describe the detailed data of agricultural bioenvironmental and energy engineering to clarify the level of agricultural energy efficiency in China. The overall conclusion of this paper is that the deep integration of agriculture and energy internet has become the development trend of agricultural energy systems.

The change in the industrial land is of great significance to the sustainable development of cities. However, scholars have done relatively little research on this subject, especially on the urban industrial land expansion process and its influencing factors. This article selects Shunde, a typical Chinese industrial city of the Guangdong province, using remote sensing interpretation to analyze the spatiotemporal evolution of industrial land expansion from 1995 to 2017 and applies the multiple regression model to analyze the influencing factors. The main conclusions are as follows: the industrial land in Shunde has experienced the development trend of “slow expansion-rapid expansion-slow expansion,” and the “fragmentation” of the industrial land space is still prominent. Decentralization, marketization, capital, and labor force have passed the significance test of the model, which are important factors influencing the expansion of the industrial land in Shunde. Among them, decentralization is the primary factor, while marketization has the greatest impact on industrial land expansion in Shunde. The influence of globalization and technical progress is not significant.

In the view of the safe and stable operation of power system in the extreme environments, the status and the role of two typical provincial power systems in China were analyzed. Combined with the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of this total solar eclipse in July 22, the operations of the two provincial power systems in different regions during the total solar eclipse were compared. The main impacts of the development process of the total solar eclipse on power systems were analyzed. At last, combined the development trend of the extreme environments in the world, how to reduce the running risk of power system in the extreme environments by the crisis dispatch was explored.

Agriculture by nature is a risky business, not only natural calamities but also other environmental factors such as political system, law, policy, social factors and many others has profoundly affecting the agricultural development. However the current paper mainly concentrates on the four main kinds of natural calamities such as drought, flood, wind hail and frost etc affecting the agricultural development of Hebei province China. In order to evaluate and mitigate the province from the agricultural natural calamities, the panel data from 1990-2012 of four agricultural natural disasters covered and affected areas are analyzed. It defined and measured the rates of disaster reduction and affected, gives the analysis and mitigation of agricultural natural disasters. According to the extent and the areas of distribution of a variety of calamities in the losses of crops, use basic statistical methods to analyze the development trend and the affected areas variation of various calamities, such as it discussed the natural calamity's long term changes in the diversity and complexity of features. Finally from the prospective of macro policy the study responds and concludes some mitigation measures to compete with agricultural natural calamities.

Abstract Environmental protection has become a common issue in every area, but extremely important for the domains which deal with intensive energy consumption as it is the case of the transportation. Achieving the sustainable cities on the other hand, is also focused on the protection of the environment in order to provide a higher quality of life for the population. Therefore it is considered that by improving the urban transportation planning additional benefits could be provided for both the environment and the sustainable development of the cities. One possibility is to supplement the traditionally land-use plans with the transportrelated zones analysis, where the city is divided in public transport, pedestrian and caroriented zones. Analyzing the transport-related zones of a city is important as it provides additional information in the assessment of the development trend. The process of zoning was conducted for the city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In this paper, the outcome of the zoning was analyzed for a more comprehensive review of the urban transport in order to attain a sustainable-oriented approach of the urban area development.

In recent years, the concepts and practices of smart cities and “Internet plus” smart energy have mushroomed, greatly promoting the development and application of customer-side energy Internet business and stimulating users’ diversified and personalized demand for interactive services of intelligent power utilization. Intelligent power utilization, as the core of the interactive service system, serves as a bridge between power supply departments and customers. Its construction has a direct impact on the efficiency, economic operation and orderly electricity consumption of power grids. In the context of the increasingly intelligent power grid and complex load structure, this paper analyzed the development trend of energy Internet and adopted SWOT to reveal the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of power grid enterprises in developing energy Internet, explore their development ideas on energy Internet businesses, and facilitate their development of energy Internet.

Growing concerns about global greenhouse gas emissions have led power systems to utilize clean and highly efficient resources. In the meantime, renewable energy plays a vital role in energy prospects worldwide. However, the random nature of these resources has increased the demand for energy storage systems. On the other hand, due to the higher efficiency of multi-energy systems compared to single-energy systems, the development of such systems, which are based on different types of energy carriers, will be more attractive for the utilities. Thus, this paper represents a multi-objective assessment for the operation of a multi-carrier microgrid (MCMG) in the presence of high-efficiency technologies comprising compressed air energy storage (CAES) and power-to-gas (P2G) systems. The objective of the model is to minimize the operation cost and environmental pollution. CAES has a simple-cycle mode operation besides the charging and discharging modes to provide more flexibility in the system. Furthermore, the demand response program is employed in the model to mitigate the peaks. The proposed system participates in both electricity and gas markets to supply the energy requirements. The weighted sum approach and fuzzy-based decision-making are employed to compromise the optimum solutions for conflicting objective functions. The multi-objective model is examined on a sample system, and the results for different cases are discussed. The results show that coupling CAES and P2G systems mitigate the wind power curtailment and minimize the cost and pollution up to 14.2% and 9.6%, respectively.
