Cloud computing systems are popular in computing industry for their ease of use and wide range of applications. These systems offer services that can be used over the Internet. Due to their wide popularity and usage, cloud computing systems and their services often face issues resource management related challenges. In this paper, we present v-Mapper, a resource consolidation scheme which implements network resource management concepts through software-defined networking (SDN) control features. The paper makes three major contributions: (1) We propose a virtual machine (VM) placement scheme that can effectively mitigate the VM placement issues for data-intensive applications; (2) We propose a validation scheme that will ensure that a cloud service is entertained only if there are sufficient resources available for its execution and (3) We present a scheduling policy that aims to eliminate network load constraints. We tested our scheme with other techniques in terms of average task processing time, service delay and bandwidth usage. Our results demonstrate that v-Mapper outperforms other techniques and delivers significant improvement in system’s performance.

The cloud computing can be essentially expressed as aconveyance of computing condition where distinctive assets are conveyed as a support of the client or different occupants over the web. The task scheduling basically concentrates on improving the productive use of assets and henceforth decrease in task fruition time. Task scheduling is utilized to allot certain tasks to specific assets at a specific time occurrence. A wide range of systems has been exhibited to take care of the issues of scheduling of various tasks. Task scheduling enhances the productive use of asset and yields less reaction time with the goal that the execution of submitted tasks happens inside a conceivable least time. This paper talks about the investigation of need, length and due date based task scheduling calculations utilized as a part of cloud computing.

The current problem of transition to the use of "Cloud Computing" in the process of assessing possible use has been reflected in this study. Assessments of the capabilities of cloud services have been conducted, which are part of a group study of cloud computing as a platform for creating a communication environment in the scientific activities of the Free Economic Zone. The essence of the concept of cloud computing is to provide end users with remote dynamic access to services, computing resources and applications via the Internet. The main possibilities and functions of the information space of scientific communications have been considered. In the process of evaluating the possible use of cloud solutions, the main properties, capabilities and characteristics have also been considered. Web-services based on cloud computing technology in terms of meeting the goals of the scientific community have been analyzed. The most widely used and widely used cloud storage services today that can be used to build a research communication platform are cloud infrastructure providers Google, Amazon and Microsoft. When using the capabilities of these services, favorable conditions are created for the translation of all necessary functions into cyberspace. Today, no more than 37% of domestic organizations actually use cloud technologies to optimize their IT infrastructures, although the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly accelerated this process. Experts claim that Cloud Computing opens access to powerful resources, as well as provides a real opportunity to overcome the technological gap that separates Ukraine from more developed countries. With the successful implementation of such a transition, it is possible to organize a platform of communication environment with new features that meet modern requirements for safety and ease of use in scientific activities. Thus, "cloud computing" is a new approach that reduces the complexity of IT systems, through the use of a wide range of efficient technologies, self-managed and available on demand within the virtual infrastructure, as well as consumed as services.

Abstract: Cloud computing refers to a computer environment in which traditional software systems, installations, and licensing concerns are replaced with comprehensive on demand," pay as you need" internet based services. In this scenario, many cloud customers can request multiple cloud resources at the same time. As a result, there should be a plan in place to ensure that resources must be prepared for the needy customer in proficient way in order complete their needs. In cloud computing systems, resource management is a critical and difficult issue. It must meet numerous service quality requirements and, as a result, reduce SLA violations. This paper survey different resource management technique for cloud infrastructures. Keywords: Cloud, Resource management and techniques

Cloud computing has been gaining recognition amongst enterprises due to its wide range of applications. Its adoption is found to be driven by factors like industry, geography, size of organization, and nature of business etc. Gradually researchers started exploring adoption of cloud computing from users perspective particularly behavioral factors driving the same. The present study intends to explore different behavioral predictor of intention to use cloud computing, by adopting the recent Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) 3 developed by Venkatesh & Bala (2008). A total of 100 users who are involved in purchasing computing solutions or are key stakeholders/decision-makers of Indian Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) constituted the sample for this study. Data collection was done through online survey. The findings suggest that perceived ease of use has significant effect on attitude towards usage which subsequently affects intention to use cloud computing. The findings are consistent with the previous researches on technology adoption factors. At the end, the theoretical and managerial implications of the study are discussed.

The objective of the research was to find out the key factors that influence the acceptance and usage of cloud computing systems in the Omani higher education sector, with special emphasis on the COVID-19 outbreak. For this purpose, a quantitative research approach was conducted where 200 students from several Omani higher education institutions were surveyed, and by using Partial Least Square (PLS) to analysis the collected data. The findings revealed that the intention to use cloud computing in this context is significantly dependent on its perceived ease of use, usefulness, perceived reliability and responsiveness. It is noteworthy that this is one of the early studies that address the subject of cloud computing usage during times of crises, and specifically the COVID-19 outbreak. As such, it provides significant contributions in the area of technology adoption.

The purpose of the article is to study the dynamics of electronic dictionaries development abroad and in Ukraine using methods of analysis of scientific sources, comparison, generalization and systematization. Electronic dictionaries have been found to be a relatively new phenomenon in the lexicographic market, evolving from machine-readable dictionaries, exact copies of paper editions to complex digital lexicographic systems with a powerful arsenal of functions over the decades. The stages of development of autonomous and online dictionaries are described. Electronic dictionaries due to the advanced search capabilities, speed, simplicity, ease of use, accessibility and compactness have gained popularity among a wide range of users. Today they are used in many spheres of human activity – scientific, educational, professional, everyday communication. However, the analysis of the current level of development of Ukrainian electronic resources indicates a shortage of electronic dictionaries both common and terminological vocabulary. The lack of electronic dictionaries is due to a number of objective problems, both practical and theoretical, that is why research in the field of domestic computer lexicography is a promising area of further research.
