Milk tea is a famous drink that has been heavily consumed since 2011. This study aimed to determine the combination of milk tea attributes that were most preferred using a Conjoint Analysis Approach. Specifically, this study utilized different attributes such as the size of tapioca pearls, sugar level, price range, brands, type of milk tea, cream cheese inclusion, and the amount of ice. Conjoint analysis with the orthogonal design was utilized to evaluate the preference of milk tea among consumers. The results showed that pearl size was the attribute most considered by consumers (29.137%), followed by sugar level (17.373%), the amount of ice (17.190%), the type of drink (13.421%), price (11.207%), and the least considered were cream cheese inclusion (9.525%) and the brands (2.147%). The findings of this study will be beneficial to milk tea firms about consumer preferences regarding the various attributes of milk tea. Finally, the result of this study could be applicable to different beverage-focused studies worldwide.

Consumer preference analysis is needed to know the advertising media that have a big influence on consumers in making decisions to buy a product, the advertising media applied to rider’s jackets of a ridesharing company. Ride sharing services is a flexible type of advertising media. Flexible advertising media requires a product with fast turnover. Retail products are dominated by primary products with fast turnover. The Company’s rider jacket has a position variable with three levels; bottom, top and separated. Mostly retail products are food, beverage, personal, and household needs. The retail products displayed on the jacket can be 1-2 product(s), 3-6 products, and more than 6 products. Using these attributes and levels, the objective of this study is to get the best design or the best level combination for advertising media of retail promo product on a ridesharing rider's jacket by consumer preferences. To get the best combination of consumer preferences, Choice Based Conjoint method is used with the amount of 106 data. The data obtained is the preference of 106 respondents who once had experience of using the taxibike feature from the ridesharing application. The results of this analysis show the best level of position attribute is the bottom position, the best level of product type attribute is the type of product mixed or alternating and the best number of products to be plotted are 1-2 products.

In conjoint analysis, interaction effects characterize how preference for the level of one product attribute is dependent on the level of another attribute. When interaction effects are negligible, a main effects fractional factorial experimental design can be used to reduce data requirements and survey cost. This is particularly important when the presence of many parameters or levels makes full factorial designs intractable. However, if interaction effects are relevant, main effects design can create biased estimates and lead to erroneous conclusions. This work investigates consumer preference interactions in the nontraditional context of visual choice-based conjoint analysis, where the conjoint attributes are parameters that define a product's shape. Although many conjoint studies assume interaction effects to be negligible, they may play a larger role for shape parameters. The role of interaction effects is explored in two visual conjoint case studies. The results suggest that interactions can be either negligible or dominant in visual conjoint, depending on consumer preferences. Generally, we suggest using randomized designs to avoid any bias resulting from the presence of interaction effects.

Sago is a potential source of food with high calories and carbohydrates (rice equivalent). Sago consumer preferences can provide important information in making marketing strategy sago, and also is one of the indicators of market demand for the products of sago. The purpose of this study were to understand the srage of the purchase decision process undertaken by consumers of sago; analyze the level of customer satisfaction with sago attributes associated from sago; and analyze the consumer preference for various atrributes inherent in sago. The study was conducted in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Respondents were all members of a population of 21 respondents consisting of 15 restaurant owners who provide meals made from sago and 6 owners agro-industry made from raw sago. The study used Engel Model Analysis, Costumer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Analysis, and Conjoint Analysis. The results of the analysis gives an overview of some consumer behavior based on the decision-making process shows that the benefits sought in the purchase buy sago sago is as a raw material to be processed into a menu of traditional food and traditional cakes Kendari. Color sago is the main thing, which will be seen and considered by consumers to make purchases between and will buy sago in traditional markets as close to the place of business. The level of consumer satisfaction in this study were satisfied with the preference category that consumers like sago with normal color (pure white), normal scent (odorless), low prices and package sizes are 20 kg. The resulting combination of sago four attributes (color, flavor, price and package sizes) is acceptable to describe consumers' desire sago in Kendari. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a great impact on the fitness centers industry. The purpose of this study is to analyze the preference of gym-goers on fitness centers in the Philippines during the COVID-19 pandemic by utilizing a conjoint analysis approach. One thousand gym-goers voluntarily participated in this study and answered 22 queries created from the orthogonal design. The results indicated that Price was the highest attribute considered (21.59%), followed by Ventilation (17.56%), Service (16.59%), Trainer (14.63%), Payment Method (11.95%), Operating Hours (8.90%), and Login (8.70%). The results also indicated that comfort, security, and fitness center services were the main aspects that gym-goers would consider as their main preference. The study highlighted how gym-goers are sensitive to the price set by the fitness centers. Moreover, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ventilation and size are considered highly important attributes among gym-goers. Comfort, safety, and security are the main consideration to have sustainable fitness centers during and even after the COVID-19 pandemic. The outcome of this study may benefit fitness centers and increase their business market by considering the preference of customers. Finally, the result of this study can be utilized by fitness centers to promote a generalized fitness center for gym-goers of different generations, statuses, and even socioeconomic status during and even after the COVID-19 pandemic.

<p>Understanding Consumer’s preferences on attributes of cigarettes market is the first step to successful marketing strategies. The goal of this article is to explore the preferences of the smokers and to determine the way consumers perceive the importance of cigarettes attributes using conjoint analysis. Research was conducted on a sample of 416 users of cigarettes in Sudan and data were collected using a structured questionnaire. By implementing conjoint analysis, the current study investigates how consumers do tradeoff between preferences of number of attributes and the importance they attached to each of these cigarettes' attributes. The four attributes that are dealt within this study are the social status, availability, quality and price of cigarettes. Though the preferences of the various consumers vary, the results show that while price, quality and availability are important attributes, the social status is the most preferred attribute in the cigarettes industry in Sudan. The findings of the current study provide essential implications for marketers in developing future marketing strategies and for investment in this sector.<strong></strong></p>
