The unsustainable operations of producers account for significant carbon emission and subsequent adverse impacts on nature. This study aims to identify the factors that influence consumers’ green buying behavior. The research focuses on the exploratory testing of theories using standardized questionnaires and interviews. Using a convenience selection approach, questionnaire surveys were used to gather primary data from a sample size of 305. The sample demographic reflects people who often make purchases; data were also obtained from shopping centers and elsewhere. The hypothesis testing of variables measured via five-point Likert scale questions was performed using structural equation modeling. We applied closed-ended questions relating to green buying behavior for the convenience of respondents. The empirical result established the effects of attitude, perceived severity of environmental problems, environmental concern, and subjective norms on Bangladeshi consumers’ green buying behavior. Additionally, it was discovered that attitude mediates the association between the perceived environmental responsibility and green buying behavior. Therefore, the government should play a constructive role in educating the public and promoting green business initiatives through improved coordination and legislative intervention.

This study aims to explore the influence of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE), Politico-Economic Conditions (PEC) on Tourist Behavioral Intension (TBI) in Hunza, Pakistan. The study further investigates the mediating role of Tourist Satisfaction (TS) on the given variables. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique has been applied to conceptualize the research frame and to test the proposed hypotheses. Primary data was collected by using convenient sampling technique for analysis from 220 tourists who visited tourism nucleus sites of Hunza. The finding of the study reveals that Natural resources and Environment, Politico-and Economic Conditions have a significant positive impact on Tourist’s Behavioral Intensions. Moreover, Tourist’s Satisfaction partially mediates the positive relationships among Natural Resources and Environment, Political & Economic Conditions and Tourist’s Behavioral Intensions. The findings of the study extend the understanding that presence of natural resources along with healthy environment and stable political & economic conditions of a destination are the key determinants for sustainable tourism development.

The objective of this study was to investigate the factors that influence the consumer adoption of renewable energy in Thailand. The study adopted an extended theory of planned behavior (TPB) by including three additional variables. The study applied a quantitative study methodology, with primary data collected using a survey of consumers in five major cities in Thailand. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings of the study indicated that perception of self-effectiveness, environmental concern, renewable energy awareness, and beliefs about renewable energy benefits have a significant and positive effect on consumers’ intention to adopt renewable energy. The cost of renewable was found to have a negative but non-significant influence on consumers’ adoption of renewable energy, while risk/trust perception was found to have a positive but non-significant influence on consumers’ adoption of renewable energy. The study concluded that stakeholders should take into account the aspects of perception of self-effectiveness, environmental concern, renewable energy awareness, and beliefs about renewable energy benefits when running campaigns to promote the consumer adoption of renewable energy in Thailand

Understanding the attitude and behavior of customers is essential for every company where consumers differ in attitudes towards product/service. The consumer buying behavior in today's information-saturated world is based on how a product/service is marketed. However, the rapid diffusion of technology anchored growth and challenges on e-marketing trends. For instance, despite the widespread and large-scale adoption of e-marketing around the world, one does not see this trend happening on a big scale in Nigeria. Therefore, this study examines the influence of e-marketing factors on consumer buying behavior in the Nigerian context with particular reference to the University students participating in online business. The study employed the quantitative method, where primary data were collected via online distribution of the questionnaires among 233 customers, specifically students of the Osun state Universities in Nigeria. Also, structural equation modeling using AMOS software was employed to examine the relationship and hypothesis testing. The findings of this study revealed that e-marketing is positively and significantly influence consumer buying behavior in the area of e-mail marketing, mobile marketing, and e-advertising factors. The study asserted that firms must engage the consumers using technology that are more likely acceptable by consumers in the present digital and customer-oriented era. Also, knowing fully the emerging technologies may furnish valuable insights for various stakeholders to work well in Nigeria. Finally, the new trends in e-marketing are recommended from a strategic and operational level in which different techniques ease the buying behavior of consumers.

University of Jember is a large State University with many students registered at Jember University, with the large number of students, it needs teaching staff (lecturers) and education staff in their daily education activities. Teaching and learning activities at the University of Jember starts from early morning hours until the evening so that impact on the workload of educational staff. At work, most people begin to feel there is something else that must be considered in addition to work, namely daily life. Lack of work-life balance is one of the triggers for stress. When an individual does not maintain balance and work too much in an organizational setting, this can lead to psychological and behavioral consequences, as well as low job satisfaction as a result of his/her productivity will also be low. This study aims to analyze mediating effect of Work Life Balance on the relationship between Workload and Job Satisfaction of Employees in Education Contract Staff at the University of Jember. The data used in this study are primary data using questionnaires on 106 respondents determined using purposive sampling technique. Researcher determines the sample taken is the University of Jember education contract staff who work more than 1 year and have shifts work schedules outside regular working hours several days a week. The analytical method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. The results showed that workload and Work life balance had a significant effect on job satisfaction of Education Contract Employees at Jember University.

Purpose This study aims to ascertain the mediating effect of task performance (TP) on the linkage between the psychological empowerment (PE) and job satisfaction (JS) of professional accountants. Design/methodology/approach Primary data was collected through a questionnaire-based survey of 132 professional accountants who were the units of analysis for the study. These accountants were domiciled in 11 Indian cities and worked in both service and manufacturing firms. The data was analyzed using the partial least squares structural equation modeling method. Findings The study found that TP mediated the linkage between PE and JS, although, contrary to observations in developed economies, one of its sub-constructs – competence – displayed no such mediation capability. Counterintuitively, it was empirically observed that the accountants’ gender had no bearing on the mediating effect of TP. Originality/value The study makes three distinct contributions. First, it empirically confirms that the intrinsic motivation theory applies to accountants in the context of operations in emerging markets. Second, the paper contributes to the accounting behavioral literature by observing that competence, as a sub-dimension of the PE construct, does not significantly impact the JS level of accountants. Finally, the study also contributes to the development of sound business practices by confirming that gender differences do not impact the satisfaction levels of accountants in emerging markets.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore different factors influencing young consumers’ approaches to eco-labeled products in an emerging country, Turkey. Design/methodology/approach Relevant measures were adapted from the previous literature to assess key constructs on environment and eco-label perceptions. First, an exploratory factor analysis was employed for identifying the key dimensions, and then structural equation modeling was conducted for testing the research hypotheses. Findings The findings reveal that the existence of perceived environmental knowledge has an influence on eco-labeled product purchase tendencies, with environmental concern (EC) having a significant mediating effect. Practical implications This study contributes to practice by addressing perceptual factors affecting young consumers in emerging markets such as Turkey. This relationship can be utilized to increase the tendency to purchase eco-labeled products to create EC enhancing programs in education in addition to environmental knowledge leveraging ones. Besides, these findings may also be beneficial in eco-labeled product marketing efforts. Originality/value This study provides value for the literature by investigating the perception of young consumers in an emerging market specifically, and adopts a more specific eco-label focus, which it integrates with an environmental perspective.

Capture fishery conflicts is one issue that requires serious attention. The government has tried to overcome the fisheries conflicts by issuing various regulations, but the results have not been effective. This study aims to create a model of conflict management. The research method used the perception survey. Primary data collected through using a structured questionnaire done purposively to some respondents. Analytical survey of perceptions using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The results showed: (i) Simultaneously, the better the ability to identify the causes of the conflict the better the ability to determine the conflict resolution techniques. Furthermore, the better the ability to determine an appropriate conflict resolution techniques will increase support for the management of fisheries resources is responsible (ii) Partially causes of conflict are determined by the indicators of competition, opposition, economic, actors and cultural (ii) facilitation techniques, negotiation, litigation and avoidance can be used as an appropriate conflict resolution techniques (iii) an understanding of community participation and conservation of fishery resources determines the creation of sustainable fisheries resource management is responsible.

This chapter explores the influence of empowering leadership on organizational commitment of Indian millennials. Also, the mediating effect of trust in the leader is examined. Primary data were collected from the sample of 440 IT employees working in Delhi/NCR. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the proposed relationships based on model fit and standard path coefficients. Findings indicate that empowering leadership has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment and trust in the leader, which also has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment, and trust in the leader has shown to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between empowering leadership and organizational commitment of millennials. The chapter contributes to the limited empirical literature on the linkage between empowering leadership and organizational commitment in a generational context, specifically millennials in Indian context. The chapter provides a leadership-based approach to bolster organizational commitment of millennials.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between e-marketing (eM) and consumers’ buying behavior particularly exploratory buying behavior tendencies (EBBT) with moderating effect of a gender in the context of China. Design/methodology/approach Structural equation modeling using SPSS/AMOS was majorly applied to ascertain the relationship and hypotheses testing. First, the correlation of eM toward EBBT is examined using five factors: internet marketing (IM), e-mail marketing (EMa), intranet marketing (IMa), extranet marketing (EM), and mobile marketing (MM). Second, the relationship of each dimension of the eM model is determined autonomously to ensure the importance of such emerging technologies in marketing communications. Third, the effect of gender as a moderator is measured. To this end, primary data were collected through random distribution of the questionnaires among 1,600 consumers particularly students of the universities between February 2016 and August 2016 within North China. Findings The findings revealed that eM has a significant correlation on consumers’ EBBT. The comprehensive analysis of each factor of eM, i.e., IM, EMa, IMa, EM, and MM is positively correlated to EBBT. The present study revealed that gender did not moderate among the relationships of eM and EBBT. Additionally, study furnishes practical directions on how managers can utilize such emerging and revolutionary technologies in marketing activities to probe, understand, and reinforce consumers’ buying behavior. Research limitations/implications The research has limitations related to geographical location and sample size which thus limits the widespread generalization. Practical implications This study affirmed that organizations must engage the consumers using such technologies that are more likely acceptable by consumers in the present customer-oriented and digital era. The marketers must engage consumers the way they wish to be engaged by developing appropriate promotional strategies. The study provides possible implications both theoretical and managerial along with a contribution to the literature of eM and consumers’ buying behavior. Social implications Understanding the emerging technologies may furnish valuable insights for individuals to work well within Chinese SMEs. Originality/value The topic of eM has acknowledged as an evolving concept which is gaining an intense concern of both academician and practitioners. Therefore, more research mainly empirical work is still needed to probe the insights of eM across the globe. This study attempts to fulfill such need with empirical evidence together with an in-depth examination of eM determinants, collectively and autonomously.

The purpose of this research is to analyze : The effect of image, perceived<br />quality, and perceived value on student satisfaction, The effect of Student Satisfaction on Student loyalty mediated by trust and commitment. The source of the data is secondary data taken from The Ministry of National Education (Kemdiknas), Kopertis region III and the primary data is taken from a survey of Private University students in Jakarta, with the number of samples being<br />= 500, analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Lisrel 8.80.The findings of this research are: six hypothesis take positive effect and significant. Student loyalty is not influenced by student satisfaction mediated by trust (No mediating), Student loyalty is influenced by student satisfaction mediated by commitment (full mediating).
