The objective of this study was to investigate the factors that influence the consumer adoption of renewable energy in Thailand. The study adopted an extended theory of planned behavior (TPB) by including three additional variables. The study applied a quantitative study methodology, with primary data collected using a survey of consumers in five major cities in Thailand. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings of the study indicated that perception of self-effectiveness, environmental concern, renewable energy awareness, and beliefs about renewable energy benefits have a significant and positive effect on consumers’ intention to adopt renewable energy. The cost of renewable was found to have a negative but non-significant influence on consumers’ adoption of renewable energy, while risk/trust perception was found to have a positive but non-significant influence on consumers’ adoption of renewable energy. The study concluded that stakeholders should take into account the aspects of perception of self-effectiveness, environmental concern, renewable energy awareness, and beliefs about renewable energy benefits when running campaigns to promote the consumer adoption of renewable energy in Thailand

The unsustainable operations of producers account for significant carbon emission and subsequent adverse impacts on nature. This study aims to identify the factors that influence consumers’ green buying behavior. The research focuses on the exploratory testing of theories using standardized questionnaires and interviews. Using a convenience selection approach, questionnaire surveys were used to gather primary data from a sample size of 305. The sample demographic reflects people who often make purchases; data were also obtained from shopping centers and elsewhere. The hypothesis testing of variables measured via five-point Likert scale questions was performed using structural equation modeling. We applied closed-ended questions relating to green buying behavior for the convenience of respondents. The empirical result established the effects of attitude, perceived severity of environmental problems, environmental concern, and subjective norms on Bangladeshi consumers’ green buying behavior. Additionally, it was discovered that attitude mediates the association between the perceived environmental responsibility and green buying behavior. Therefore, the government should play a constructive role in educating the public and promoting green business initiatives through improved coordination and legislative intervention.

This research study intends to investigate the tourist satisfaction as a mediating variable in the relationship between the Islamic attributes, service quality and destination loyalty among Malaysian Muslim tourists in the Padang city. A self survey was implemented as the means to attain the primary data among the 160 Malaysian Muslim tourists visiting the Padang city . The sample of 119 usable responses were collected from the 160. To analyze the model, Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling was utilized. The statistical outcomes established the positive and significant influence of the service quality, the Islamic attributes and the tourist satisfaction on destination loyalty. The results also established that tourist satisfaction were positively and significantly influenced by the service quality and the Islamic attributes. Along with it, tourist satisfaction mediated significantly in the relationship between the Islamic attribute, the service quality and the destination loyalty among the Malaysian Muslim tourists visiting in Padang city.

AbstractCrowded large space buildings are today becoming highly desirable facilities for communities, towns, and cities. Due to stricter health, safety requirements, and environmental effects, such buildings are of greater interest for research. The buildings are used for a variety of functions, including sporting, entertainment, and religious events. The Holy Mosque in Makkah Saudi Arabia is an excellent example of a crowded large space building with a maximum capacity reaching up to 2 million users, especially at the Hajj and Ramadan periods. Quite often, designer and facility managers of crowded large space buildings pay keen attention to normative and substantive (objective) safety, but research shows that perceived (subjective) safety which should also be important, is clear overlooked. To prove the significance of perceived safety, a theory has been adopted, which states that a reduction in perceived safety (PS) will negatively affect the user behaviour (UB) resulting in the occurrence of a disaster in crowded large size buildings. Initial research undertaken by the authors have identified 10 key factors affecting subjective safety in crowded large space buildings, this stage of the study is an empirical study to aimed at establishing how significant each factor affects PS and the effect of perceived safety on the UB in such types of buildings. The Holy Mosque was used as a case study. The research adopted the quantitative research methodology by collecting primary data using a group-administered questionnaire in electronic devices such as iPad from more than 1,940 Hajj pilgrims coming from 62 countries. This was analysed by SPSS and AMOS 22 for confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) to test the interrelationships between the 10 identified factors and PS or between PS and UB through several hypotheses. The research has demonstrated that there is a significant influence on PS by most of the established factors and that PS has a significant influence on the behaviour of pilgrims in the Holy Mosque.

The purpose of the current study is to explore barriers influencing consumers’ intention to adopt sustainable electric vehicles (EV) based on the modified theory of planned behavior (TPB) model. Structural equation modeling (SEM) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were employed to analyze the research model, using 262 valid responses. The findings of the current study explored how attitude (ATT), subjective norm (SN), and perceived behavioral control (PBC) significantly influenced users’ sustainable consumption intentions. The finding also explored ways in which environmental concern significantly influenced ATT, SN, PBC, and sustainable consumption intention of the users. Not only measurements of vehicle performance, namely safety, reliability, and range, but other factors, such as purchasing price, charging facility, and maintenance and battery cost also influenced consumers’ sustainable consumption intentions. The predictive power of the proposed model (R2 = 63.5) was better than the original TPB (R2 = 53.6). Results also indicated that Taiwanese are primarily concerned about the greenhouse effects on the environment, which reflected their sustainable consumption intentions. The conclusions of the current study could assist government and policymakers in designing sustainable programs, which could improve consumers’ sustainable consumption intentions to prevent further air pollution and reduce CO2 emissions from the transportation sector.

Abstract Taxes are one of the supports for in infrastructure development. The existence of taxpayer religiosity, tax amnesty, and ta sanction is also a consideration for taxpayer compliance. infrastructure development comes from Tax Indonesian Budget funds, 70% of which comes from taxes. this study aims to prove the effect of taxpayer religiosity, ta amnesty, and ta sanction on tax compliance of MSME business actors. the type of research used is quantitative. by using multiple linear regression analysis method with three independent variables, namely taxpayer religiosity (x1), tax amnesty (x2), and tax sanctions (x3) with the dependent variable taxpayer compliance on tax MSMEs (Y). the population in this study were micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the sample technique used was random samling. the primary data soources used were questionnaires and secondary data sources were data froom journals, books, and the internet related to these issues. the data collection tecnique is done by using a uestionnaire, interview, and documentation. data analysis used validity and reliability tests and hypothesis testing. data analyysis used the structural equation modeling method with the help of SmartPLS softare. based on the research results it can be conclued that 1) there is a significant influence of taxpayer religiosity on taxpayer comliance of Medium Small MIcro Business Taes (MSMEs) in indonesia. 2) there is a significant influence of tax amnesty on taxpayer comliance of medium small micro business taxes (MSMEs) in Indonesia. 3) there is a significant inluence of tax sanction on taxpayer comliance of Medium Small Micro Business Taxes (MSMEs) in Indonesia

This study seeks to help fill an important gap in the literature by investigating factors that have facilitated the use of management accounting practices (MAPs) in Vietnam - a transitional economy. Data were collected from 220 medium-to-large enterprises. Follow-up interviews were conducted with 20 accounting heads/vice heads to obtain further information and clarification. The quantitative data collected was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics (including t-tests and structural equation modeling), while the qualitative data was used to shed further light on the various relationships described by the quantitative analysis. This paper reveals that both decentralization and competition have a positive, significant influence on the use of new MAPs except for the old ones. Consequently, the use of MAPs has a positive, significant influence on enterprise performance.
