Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurants worldwide, including China, have been forced to protect public health by following food safety standards and adapting to the necessary social distancing practices. Accordingly, restaurant diners who are concerned about food safety and unsure of whether it is truly safe to dine out, put more importance on the entire stages of service consumption. Restaurants must make their best efforts to minimize service failures in their service provision process and outcomes. Given that customers from different cultures are reported to evaluate service quality differently, this study was designed to investigate what actions Chinese customers who encounter service failures would take under the influence of Guanxi. Guanxi represents Chinese attitudes towards long-term individual and business relationships and ultimately involves moral obligations and mutual favors. Analyzing our structural equation model using 439 responses obtained from Chinese diners, this study determined that Chinese consumers would react differently in the service process failures and outcome failures in terms of negative word-of-mouth, direct complaints, switching intention, and revisit intention. More importantly, this study confirmed the significant moderating effects of Guanxi within the proposed relationships. Based on the study’s findings, useful implications are provided for academics and practitioners regarding sustained restaurant businesses.

In recent years, the unsustainable behaviors of straw utilization have led to waste straw being one of the sources of agricultural non-point source pollution. Studying the resource utilization of crop straw is conducive to expediate the development of ecological and green agriculture. More importantly, it has long-term significance for the recycling of agricultural waste, improving the quality of rural life, and the employment of farmers. Based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB), taking the representative survey questionnaire of farmers in Jilin Province, China as the sample, the structural equation model (SEM) was constructed to study the main factors that drive the utilization behaviors of straw resources of farmers and to explore the driving mechanism of the farmers behaviors in Jilin Province. The results show that the behavioral attitude and subjective norms of farmers in Jilin Province not only indirectly affect their actual behaviors through behavioral willingness, but also has significant direct effects on their behaviors. The most critical factors that affect the willingness of farmers to utilize the straw resources in Jilin Province are subjective norms and moral responsibilities. The subjective norms of farmers have a direct and significant positive impact on their willingness and behaviors. Behavioral attitude and perceived behavior control have a significant positive impact on their willingness. The behavioral willingness has a significant positive impact on their actual behaviors. This study provides guidance for the utilization of straw resources policy implications.

The article examines the features of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system as a factor in food safety. The principles of HACCP, formulated in the ISO 22000: 2005 standard, in the Alimentations Commission Codex are compared, as well as in accordance with the Ukrainian regulatory document "Requirements for the development of food safety standards", approved by the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on October 1, 2012 No. 590. The comparison is carried out in order to establish the compliance of the Ukrainian HACCP system with the international rules, in particular the ISO 22000: 2005 standard. Shown, that the principles of the Ukrainian HACCP system generally comply with international standards, in particular ISO 22000: 2005. This means that the legislation of Ukraine guarantees that, in compliance with it, food products originating from Ukraine comply with international requirements for the control of its manufacture. The guarantee of this is the system of control measures that are provided for by the laws of Ukraine regarding compliance with the requirements of the HACCP system.

There have been growing concerns about the effects of food safety standards on agricultural trade throughout the world. One of the food safety standards applied in international trade is the adoption of maximum residue limits of pesticides. This research uses panel gravity model to analyze the effect of maximum residual limit (MRL) of pesticides imposed by importing countries on export of Indonesia’s medicinal plant products. The results show that stringent food safety standards imposed by importing countries have a negative and statistically significant effect on Indonesia’s export of medicinal plant products. The results also show that volume of Indonesia’s medicinal plant products exports are influenced by real GDP of exporter and importer, population, production, economic distance, and ad valorem tariff. <p>Traditional production is carried out using fossil fuels. In recent years, the destructive effects of fossil fuel elimination especially on human health and the environment became prominent. This effect leads to an increase in health expenditures (HE), and health problems that are severe and require long term therapies. To counter this problem, some countries have taken some measures to mini the effects of fossil fuels. One of these measures is called “Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry” or LULUCF for short. LULUCF aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere by natural means that are cheap. In this regard, this paper aims to analyze the effects of harmful gases of total emissions in terms of health expenditures both including LULUCF (LI) and excluding LULUCF (LE). Panel data methodology and SPSS Path (Structural Equation) Model were used and cover G7 countries between 1990 and 2016. It was found that there is no linear relationship between LE and HE and LI has no effect on HE. Path analysis showed a negative correlation between LI total emission and SH and a positive correlation between LE total emission and HE.</p>

Island Poteran one of the islands in Sumenep regency which has significant potential in the fisheries sector. In the year 2013, seaweed production amounted to 58027.61 kg with a value of 97,969,555 rupiah annually. But the use of seaweed in Pulau Poteran far only sold in fresh form. Though there are lots of processed plant that has a high sales value so that it can provide value added  The products that can be produced very diverse as seaweed ready though, jellies, candied kelp, and nata de seaweed. Total production is minimal and dependent on demand. Such products cannot penetrate the supermarket because there is no food safety certificate from the ministry of health and the consent of the industry. Packaging products do not meet food safety standards. Through the science and technology to the Community on KWT Putri Tani and KWT Permata District of Talango, then the outcomes expected are as follows: (1) skilled for on KWT Putri Tani and KWT Permata District of Talango in making jelly, candied and nata de seaweed in attractive packaging, (2) the resulting product is the product of jelly, candied and nata de seaweed in beautiful packaging (marketable), (3) Increased sales jelly, candied and nata de seaweed. KWT members apresiasif response and confident enough. The positive reaction was apparent from the members to continue the business of processed plant for domestic industry. After members of the training, participants are motivated to produce and begin to be marketed in the neighborhood. The production of nata de seaweed, dodol and sweets in a sale at some stores around the island Poteran and part of Sumenep.
