The ecohydrological-separation (ES) hypothesis is that the water used for plant transpiration and the water used for streams and groundwater recharge comes from distinct subsurface compartmentalized pools. The ES hypothesis was first proposed in a study conducted in the Mediterranean climate region, based on the stable isotope method in 2010. To date, the ES hypothesis has proven to be widespread around the world. The ES hypothesis is a new understanding of the soil water movement process, which is different from the assumption that only one soil reservoir in the traditional hydrology. It is helpful to clear the water sources of plants and establish a new model of the ecohydrological process. However, the theoretical basis and mechanism of the ES hypothesis are still unclear. Therefore, we analyzed the characteristics of ES phenomenon in different climatic regions, summarized the research methods used for the ES hypothesis, concluded the definitions of tightly bound water and mobile water, discussed the mechanism of isotopic differences of different reservoirs and their impacts on ES evaluation and pointed out the existing problems of the ES hypothesis. Future research should focus on the following three aspects: (a) detailed analysis of ES phenomenon characteristics of different plant species in different climatic regions; (b) further understanding of the ES phenomenon mechanism; (c) improvement of the experimental methods.

Currently, there are various research methods for soil macropores in vadose zone of well vegetated slope. They include theoretical and experimental research methods, which are water breakthrough curve and tension infiltrometer, dying and slicing. The emerging and noninvasive technique of CT and NMR technology break through many bottlenecks for soil macropores study that have many advantages such as nondestructive, accuracy, comprehensiveness, quickness compared to traditional methods that have disadvantages of destructive, qualitative and the accurate results , but themselves possess significant shortcomings, for example, operation need professional technology and high expense that restrict the popularize and apply. Combining with many years of research experience of the author in macropore, based on theoretical and experimental methods, this paper introduces the commonly used methods in macropores study and their advantages and disadvantages. In the end, the existing problems were discussed and the future research was put forward.

AbstractIn this paper, a numerical approximation method for the two-dimensional unsaturated soil water movement problem is established by using the discontinuous finite volume method. We prove the optimal error estimate for the fully discrete format. Finally, the reliability of the method is verified by numerical experiments. This method is not only simple to calculate, but also stable and reliable.

With the deepening of China's educational reform, the evaluation of teaching quality has become an important aspect of teaching reform. And the evaluation of students'learning quality is an important part of teaching evaluation. Research on it will help to improve the teaching quality of our country and promote the overall improvement of students' morality, intelligence, physical fitness and beauty. Therefore, this study takes 108 literatures related to the study of learning quality evaluation in China as the research object, uses content analysis method, carries out statistical analysis on the annual number of literatures, Journal distribution, author status, paper influence, research content, etc., analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the study of learning quality evaluation in China, and puts forward the need for further deepening. On the basis of these questions, possible future research directions are proposed.
