When importing cattle from Hungary, Germany, Holland and Australia, many violations of veterinary rules for cattle management for the purpose of its reproduction, rearing and sale were noted. Pathogens of a number of infectious diseases penetrate livestock farms with the cattle purchased. Cases of infection of imported pedigree cattle with tuberculosis were noted. Scientists, together with practical experts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, conducted a series of surveys of livestock farms, where pedigree cattle was imported from abroad. The imortance of the veterinary-sanitary treatment of premises prior to the delivery of breeding livestock was highlighted. Feeding regime of such animals in the summer and winter periods was taken into account. Particular attention was paid to preventive diagnostic studies of imported livestock and local animals in contact with them. For more effective diagnosis, several diagnostic tests were used – from the usual intradermal tuberculin test with PPD tuberculin for mammals – to the palpebral and intravenous tuberculin tests as well as the “booster effect” method. In the diagnosis of tuberculosis, a special role was assigned to the results of autopsy and laboratory studies of biomaterial taken from animals killed for diagnostic purposes. In the complex of diagnostic studies for a final decision on the animal tuberculosis and a general epizootic assessment of the herd for animal tuberculosis, a diagnostic assessment of the intradermal fold of 5 mm and over was proposed. Comprehensive intravital diagnostic measures, post-mortem diagnostics of animals reacting to tuberculin, proper veterinary and sanitary measures in livestock buildings were carried out, contact of animals brought from abroad with local cattle and other domestic animals, as well as poultry, was excluded. Comprehensive measures can reliably prevent and diagnose cases of tuberculosis both in imported and local livestock when placing it in specially prepared livestock buildings.

The article is devoted to the study and analysis of the current state of the animal husbandry industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of regions. The indicators of the dynamics of the number of livestock of farm animals for the period 2015-2019 by regions, indicators of productivity in the industry, indicators of the volume of production of meat products are analyzed. The dynamics and structure of costs in the country’s livestock industry are also considered.Today, one of the most pressing problems in the development of the agro-industrial complex is the low level of labor productivity due to low automation and digitalization of technological processes. The need to meet the demand for livestock products in the domestic market of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to increase its export resources, poses a challenge for Kazakhstani science and practice to develop, scientifically substantiate and master modern technologies for the production of low-cost, environmentally friendly, competitive products of the industry. They should be resource-saving, aimed at maximizing the use and improvement of the genetic potential of farmed farm animals, adapted to the specific natural and economic conditions of the regions of the republic. The development and mastering of such technologies will make it possible to weaken the negative impact of the industry on the environment, reduce the cost of material resources, and effectively use the available land and water resources [5].The main problems hindering the effective development of the country’s livestock industry are identified. The promising strategic directions for the development of this industry have been determined. From the point of view of experts of the financial organization, the country has good potential and opportunities to export its beef and pork to China, and the lamb of the Edilbay sheep breed to the countries of the Middle East.

The subject of research in this paper is the prospects for integration relations of the Russian border region, the Altai Territory, with the adjacent territories of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the concept of polarized development of territories. An analysis of the existing prerequisites and the current state of integration processes, as well as the specifics of the development of the regions, showed the possibility of using the agricultural sector as a propulsive industry. The possibility of increasing the workload of production facilities of processing enterprises of the Altai Territory using the raw stock potential of the livestock industry in the East Kazakhstan Region has been identified.

The Unemployment and the poverty are problems which exist throughout in the world. Many methodologies and policies are proposed in the literature for defeating them. The Republic of Djibouti is among these countries which has the problems of the unemployment and the poverty. For fighting the unemployment and the poverty, the government of Djibouti takes many initiatives such as the Strategic Document for Reducing the Poverty (SDRP) in 2003 and National Initiative of Social Development (NISD) in 2007 and created agencies for promoting the entrepreneurships. Despite of all these measures, the unemployment and the poverty rate still remain high critical level. In this paper, we propose another alternative: the classification of unemployed persons, the creation of service industries by structuring the informal jobs and a manner to create manufacturing industries. Our proposed methodology allows the reducing of the unemployment rate of order 6% (six percent) and if we apply it on all informal jobs in Djibouti, the unemployment rate will decrease of order 20% at 25% (twenty to twenty five percent). We also discuss how to update the used measures till today.

To evaluate milk production (LP), daily gain of weight in calves (GDP), interval between births (IEP) and use of artificial insemination in Cacota, Chitagá, Pamplona, Pamplonita, Silos, and Mutiscua, a sample of farms was selected (n=113) and a direct survey was applied. Two sizes of farms were characterized: up to 10 animals (47.8%) and >10 animals (52.2%). The farms were grouped by quartiles of altitude in meters above sea level (MSNM) (Q1: 1600-2300 (n=27), Q2: 2300-2600 (n=28), Q3: 2600-2800 (n=28), Q4: 2800-3800 (n=30). The Normande race predominates (38.2%), followed by Holstein (23.0%). The presence of Normande decreases with altitude descent, being different between Q4 and Q1 (P=0.009). Genotypes of Cebuins (Gyr, Brahman) appear in Q2 and increase in Q1 (P=0.03). The PL was 5.5±0.2 L/cow*day, with higher productions in Chitagá and Mutiscua (6.4±0.6 and 6.1±0.4 L/cow*day respectively), and lower (P=0.005) in Pamplonita 4.4±0.4 L/cow*day. The GDP was 367±17 g/day, and tended to be lower (P = 0.09) in farms with up to 10 animals (336±23.3 g/day, n=46) compared to farms with more than 10 animals (393±23.7 g/day, n=53). The larger farms (>10 animals) had a lower average IEP with 393±5.5 days (n=59), compared to farms with up to 10 animals (419±11.4 days, n=54; P= 0.04). For quartile Q1, the IEP was higher (438 days, P = 0.01) than Q4 (382 days). The use of semen from nine breeds for artificial insemination was reported, 48.8% corresponding to specialized dairy breeds (Jersey 27.9%, Ayrshire 11.6%, and Holstein 9.3%), 30.2% dual purpose European breeds (Normandy 27.9%, Simmental 2.3%), and 21.0% zebuin breeds or their crosses (Gyr 11.7%, Guzera 4.7%, Girolando 2.3%, and Brahman 2.3%). The present characterization allows us to diagnose the current state of the livestock industry in the region studied and to project technical guidelines for improvement

The authors present the results of the study of the therapeutic effectiveness of the “Enteropolysorb” enterosorbent based on modified polysaccharides in the livestock farms of the Republic of Belarus. It was found that the therapeutic effectiveness of the enterosorbent in the treatment of calves up to four months of age with signs of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract was 93.3-97.5%. Our research focuses on the most important indicators of the livestock producers' financial position calculated from the available financial statements. The analysis cover financial data of approximately 85 livestock producers and 315 agricultural companies for the six year period (2010-2015) and is based on the scientific and research methods such as: trend analysis, compilation and comparison, structural analysis, descriptive statistics, calculation of financial indicators and method of inference. The analysis results show that the financial position of livestock production companies in the Republic of Srpska is not acceptable. This means that the livestock industry does not meet the requirements of liquidity (current ratio and quick ratio are below the criteria and the industry average), level of indebtedness (high and above the industry average), interest coverage (negative in average) and solvency level (below the criteria and industry average). Such results indicate that the livestock industry has serious financial problems and needs both internal and systemic measures in order to become more efficient and therefore more profitable and financially sustainable.
