Since the invention of the internal combustion engines, Automotive engineers are finding ways to increase engine power that one way is supercharger. It was developed to assist internal combustion engines in improving performance and power of the engine, But these plans have deficiency as Intercoolers and Turbo Lag and etc.but this new designed system to cause launching a diaphragm pump by use of the linear motion in suspension system then compressed air is stored in tank and by using the directional control valve 3/4 with the states of off-sport 1and sport 2 we can increase engine power. The results of torque ,BSFC(Brake specific fuel consumption) and indicator diagrams(p-v) show increased horsepower And the advantages of this plan are that we don’t have turbo lag for the sudden acceleration and also due to the air tank for supplying mass flow-rate the vehicle can cross the shallow water and submerged.

The efficiency of cavitation treatment of water-gasoline fuel mixture for power supply of automobile internal combustion engines has been experimentally investigated. It is established that cavitation treatment of this fuel mixture allows to increase the water content in it up to 15–17%, reducing the engine power by only 6–7%. This allows up to 10–15% to increase the cost of gasoline when running engines in city traffic jams and on flat and sloping sections of highways. The description of the automobile electromagnetic vibrating cavitator developed for cavitation processing of water-gasoline fuel which not only provides fuel, economy, but also increases degree of completeness of combustion of water-gasoline fuel mix is resulted. As a result, the ecology of the environment is improving.

Internal combustion engines are the main power source for  automobile vehicles.  As current  emission regulations becomes more stringent, more fuel efficient and less polluting engines are becoming the focus of car manufacturers. This paper presents the study of improving the performance of K3-VE I4 internal combustion engine that is used in the Perodua Myvi for the Perodua Eco-Challenge 2013. The strategy was  to use an EGR system to reduce Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) while maintaining or increasing the engine power. The effects of different location of EGR on the engine performance were tested on a chassis dynamometer. The sensitivity of the engine performance and gas emission were studied since EGR implementation plays a  major role in influencing NOx emission. The performance parameter such as engine power and BSFC were then analysed. The result shows that a significant increase of power can be achieved and a reduction of around 56% was obtained on the BSFC. While the best NOx reduction was around 93%. These improvements are obtained at low RPM that corresponds to Perodua Eco-Challenge’s objective.

Background: Biofuels are one of the promising alternative fuel sources for automobiles. The use of biofuels in combustion engines of automobiles showed many advantages and disadvantages. In this study, the advantages and disadvantages of using biofuels in internal combustion engines are reviewed and summarized based on early studies. Biofuels can offer favorable well-towheel CO2 balance in our environment and improve engine power and efficiency. Oxygen contents in biofuels also provide advantages for the fuel combustion. However, biofuels, also showed some disadvantages, like corrosiveness to engine systems and low heating values of biofuels. Boiling temperature, absorption with water, vapor toxicity, and autoignition of biofuels showed advantages for some types and drawbacks for others.
