Energy plays an important role in everyday life and in the economy. The use of fossil energy sources greatly damages the environment. Besides this, the quantity of these energy sources is limited. Therefore, it is important to increase the share of renewable energy sources (solar, wind, water, biomass) in energy generation. Huge amounts of energy (1150-1300 kWh/m2) arrive at the earth from the sun, which utilized in passive and active ways. One of the active applications is photovoltaic current production, in the course of which electricity is produced directly with PV-Panels. This can be fed into the grid.

The use of fossil energy sources greatly damages the environment. Moreover, the quantity of these energy sources is limited. Therefore, it is important to increase the share of renewable energy sources (solar, wind, water and biomass) in energy generation.Huge amounts of energy (1100-1300 kWh/m2 per year) arrive at the earth from the sun, and are utilized in passive and active ways. One of the active applications is photovoltaic current production, in the course of which electricity is produced directly with PV – panels. This can be fed into a grid. At the University of Debrecen is a solar energy power plant from September 2005 in operation. The electricity performance of the incorporated PV-panels (Kyocera, Dunasolar, and Siemens) are 8.64 kW. The are of PV – panels is 110 square meter. With the aid of the data storage, the tension, current, temperature of the PV-panels, global radiation, air temperature, wind speed, wind direction and the achievement is measured by the ac network.The effect of the shading on the performance of the PV – panels and the solar energy power plant is examined. The analysis and the graphic representation of the experiment results are carried out with SPSS per grief. We produced per grief.

The article focuses on technologies that are closely linked to the use of renewable energy sources. We are living at a time when the emphasis is on increasing the share of production and use of heat and electricity generated by technologies using the sun, wind, water and earth. By transforming energy from sources like the Sun and the Earth, we use solar, photovoltaic collectors, heat pumps and circulation systems. Energy production in these ways is limited, therefore the research and development of individual systems is pushing the possibilities of using renewable energy sources forward. The main objective of obtaining energy from renewable sources is to cover the energy performance of buildings and people’s requirements to ensure optimal thermal comfort with maximum use of energy from renewable sources. When designing the required technologies, it is necessary to emphasize the choice of construction material for individual parts of the energy system. If we want to extract energy from the earth it is necessary to design a material suitable for aggressive soil environment – the Earth’s shell. The negative impact of soil chemical and physical properties affects not only the material structure of a part of the technology, but also the overall efficiency of the energy system.

Описаны конструктивные особенности трехвходовой аксиальной генераторной установки (ТАГУ), преобразующей кинетическую энергию ветра и световую энергию солнца и суммирующей механическую, световую и тепловую энергию с одновременным преобразованием полученной суммарной энергии в электрическую. Показаны преимущества ТАГУ перед двухвходовыми генераторными установками. Дополнительное включение стабилизатора напряжения в схему ТАГУ позволило расширить область применения стабилизированной трехвходовой аксиальной генераторной установки за счет стабилизации ее выходного напряжения. The design features of the three-input axial generating installation (TAGI), which converts the kinetic energy of wind and light energy of the sun and sums the mechanical, light and thermal energy with the simultaneous conversion of the total energy into electrical energy, are described. The benefits of TAGI in front of the two-input generating installation shown. The additional introduction of a voltage regulator into the TAGI scheme allowed to expand the scope of the stabilized three-input axial generating installation by stabilizing its output voltage.

Due to the exhaustion of the fossile fuel reserves of the Earth, the increase of fossile fuel prices and the difficulties concerning stable fuel supply, the increase of electricity production from renewable energy sources has a special strategic importance. In this study, I am going to evaluate the circumstances of the production and use of renewable energy sources in Hungary and in the European Union. I present the Hungarian economic, energy policy-related and social circumstances which make it necessary to support renewable energy production. I am going to give an overview on the related EU strategies concerning the sector and the Hungarian development plan in this field. I pay particular attention to the examination of development opportunities and the R&D activities going on in this area in Hungary, as well as the efficiency of the means used to improve renewable energy use.

The renewable energy sources could be used in energy production, while no or only very slightly emit harmful substances to the environment. The solar, wind, hydropower, biomass and heat rational utilization of land contributes to greenhouse gas emissions.Renewable energy sources also reduces the dependence on fossil fuels, thus contributing to increase security of supply. The creation of local jobs to strengthen the area's population retaining ability.

Hybrid energy systems (HESs) are an excellent solution for electrification of remote rural areas where the grid extension is difficult or not economical. Usually, HES generally integrate one or several renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydropower, and geothermal with fossil fuel powered diesel/petrol generator to provide electric power where the electricity is either fed directly into the grid or to batteries for energy storage. This chapter presents a review on the solution approaches for determining the HES systems based on various objective functions (e.g. economic, social, technical, environmental and health impact). In order to take account of environmental and health impacts from energy systems, several energy optimization model was developed for minimizing pollution and maximizing the production of renewable energy.

This article deals with the analysis of a day-ahead generation diagram in specific part of a power network with renewable energy sources. As a renewable energy source a photovoltaic power plant was chosen. Input data for a day-ahead analysis was obtained from the database of previous measurement that was realised on the existing configuration in off-grid network at the department of authors. The simulation network was created in Matlab/Simscape Power System environment that consisted of rotating generators (for regulation of generated power due to fluctuated power generation from photovoltaic sources) and photovoltaic power plant of variable energy generation and loads. The results refer to a necessity to consider the previous measured data of the weather for prediction of future expectation of a day-ahead load diagram.
