The article explores potential energy production quantity from surplus crop resides in the son river watershed. A special focus on the agricultural regions of the Son watershed through an analysis of the real potential of surplus crop residues resource. The emphasis on residues energy greatly significant in current practices and future expectation. The United Nations Development Programme, for example, refers to sustainable development as a fundamental question of our generation's development, which challenges the aspiration to enlighten humanity's collective journey towards a better future. National and international development agencies whose actions are commonly combined in the context of the development of clean renewable energy under the sustainable and clean development mechanism goals. These concerns are based on consensus among scientific and development approaches that global climate change triggers profound shifts in power/energy resources associated with ecological systems that will significant transformation in local and global environment. The most serious impacts of fossil fuel are generally seen to be concentrated among the world's poor and especially those living in the global south. The article also attempts to emphasize the importance of regional perspective and production of crop residue quantities. Crop -based residues resource has several distinct advantages such as wide periodically availability that puts it ahead among the renewable energy options.

This chapter explores the psychological structure and perception of time in music in light of recent theoretical discussion and proposals for specific features of the human faculty for music—qualities that are at once universally present and operational in music across cultures whilst also being unique to our species and to the domain of music. The author contends that music’s architectural foundations—configurations of musical pulse, musical tone, and musical motivation—provide a sustained attentional structure for managing personal experience and interpersonal interaction and offer a continually renewing phenomenological link between the immediate past, the perceptual present and future expectation. A crucial and distinguishing feature of our experience with music is thus the particular way in which we share intersubjective time and enact and create an extended moment by constantly merging from one perceptual present into the next.

Bitcoin is a decentralized system that tries to become a solution to the shortcomings of fiat and gold-based currencies. Considering its newness, the adoption level of bitcoin is yet understood. Hence, several variables are proposed in this work in examining user perceptions regarding performance expectancy, effort expectancy, trust, adoption risk, decentralization and social influence interplay, with the context of user’s future expectation and behavioral intentions to use bitcoins. Data were gathered from 293 completed questionnaire and analised using AMOS 18. The outcomes prove the sound predictability of the proposed model regarding user’s future expectations and intentions toward bitcoins. All hypotheses were supported, they were significantly affecting the dependent variables. Social influence was found as the highest predictor of behavioral intention to negatively utilize bitcoins. The significant impact of social influence, adoption risk and effort expectancy which affect behavioral intention to use bitcoins the most, are demonstrated in this study. Bitcoins should thus, present an effective, feasible and personalized program which will assist efficient usage among users. Additionally, the impacts of social influence, adoption risk and perceived trust on behavioral intention to utilize new technology were compared, and their direct path was tested together, for the first time in this context.

There is a large amount of goodwill recognition and goodwill impairment. These characteristics would trigger stock price fluctuation. Hence, stakeholders will increase holdings to mitigate the volatility of stock prices. According to the data in regard to the Chinese A-share nonfinancial listed companies from 2007 to 2020, we study the reaction of block shareholders after goodwill recognition and goodwill impairment, respectively. Our findings are as follows: (1) goodwill recognition leads to increasing holdings of block shareholders; (2) goodwill impairment also leads to increasing holdings of block shareholders when there is a large amount of goodwill impairment. We also take state ownership into consideration: compared to state-owned firms, private firms show a much stronger positive relation between goodwill recognition and level of increasing holdings of block shareholders, but there is no significant relation between goodwill impairment and increasing holdings of block shareholders in state-owned firms. These empirical results provide us with abundant evidence that block shareholders would increase shareholdings when there is goodwill recognition due to private information of positive future expectation in M&A. Meanwhile, block shareholders would stabilize stock price via increasing shareholdings when goodwill is impaired.

Background and PurposeModified Engulfment Scale (MES) measure the impact of a schizophrenic illness on an individual’s self-concept. The objective of this study was to determine psychometric properties of the Turkish form of MES (MES-T).MethodsThis cross-sectional study were included 162 schizophrenia patients with a convenience sampling method.ResultsBased on the results of factor analysis, five items were removed from the original version of the scale. It was determined that the MES-T consists of 25 items, and it has three factors: change in self-concept, belief in treatment, and future expectation. As a result of Pearson product-moment, low and moderate correlation coefficients were obtained between subscales, and moderate and high correlation coefficients were achieved between the subscales and total score of the scale.ConclusionsThe scale was found to be applicable for schizophrenia patients in Turkish population.

Menggala Formation has been long recognized as high quality oil bearing sand and favorable reservoir in Central Sumatera Basin (CSB). Regionally, this formation is unique in characteristic, distribution and has not been thoroughly evaluated during early exploration and development. This paper aims to explain elaborately the new stratigraphic feature and regional paleogeography model of Menggala Formation throughout Balam grabens by integrating cores, biostratigraphy, water salinity, well log and 2D seismic image to better understand regional stratigraphic play concept. Lower Menggala Formation in the northern Rokan Block has been clearly identified as the large scale of fluvial channel system that deposited parallel with Paleogene border fault remnants during early post-rift phase (22-25 million years ago). The fluvial channel belt is characterized by 4 to 5 km width, thick multi stacking fluvial sequence in the north and gradually change into river mouth sediment in the south. These sediments accumulated in depression area and also proven as huge productive reservoir in many fields. The north-south trending channel axis and geobodies confirmed by paleo bathymetric zonation, water salinity and 2D seismic image. The new paleogeography model helps better understanding of the regional stratigraphic concept of Menggala Formation across Balam grabens. In addition, this conceptual model also leads to strengthen the future exploration and development play concept within study area in Rokan Block.

The aim of this study is to determine the effects of self-esteem, positive future expectation, and future attitudes on the happiness of vocational school students. The Self-Esteem Scale developed by Tafarodi and Swann (1995), The Attitude toward Future and Positive Future Expectations Scales developed by İmamoğlu (2001), The Oxford Happiness Scale-Short Form developed by Hills and Argyle (2002), and a personal information form were used to collect the data. The data were obtained from 715 university students studying at Manavgat Vocational School, with one of the highest number of students at Akdeniz University. Reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were used to analyze the data. These analyses revealed positive and significant relationships among happiness, "self-liking" and "self-competence", which are the sub-dimensions of Self-Esteem Scale. Positive significant relationships were found between "positive orientation" and "planned orientation" sub-dimensions of attitude toward future scale, and happiness. However, a negative significant relationship was found between "anxious orientation" and happiness. A positive significant relationship was found between positive future expectation and happiness. In addition, from among all the independent variables, the "self-liking" sub-dimension was found to have the highest effect on happiness. This was followed by the planned orientation, positive future expectation, anxious orientation, positive orientation, and self-competence sub-dimensions. Self-esteem, attitude toward future, and positive future expectation had a share of 54% in describing the total change in happiness. The findings were discussed in light of the literature and some suggestions were made for school administrations.

Double Consonant writing in Japanese marked by Hiragana or Katakana written (?/?). Sokuon has been used many in daily comic conversation to emphazise or strengthen the speech. As the consequence, the outcome of Japanese written becomes unstandard since there is morphologically change. That is why a research has been done using comic titled Crows volume 1 by Takahashi Hiroshi to represent Japanese Comic that generally has the same sokuon written structure in daily conversation. Analysis result shows there is 1 sokuon written in the beginning, 7 sokuons in the middle, and there area 17 sokuons in the end, also there area 16 sokuons in between 2 words. Those data has been analyzed using The Prominen Theory and The Shukuyaku-kei Formation Theory. Future expectation is to expand this research through other aspect of speech that use sokuon seen from the context and function aspect. Keywords: Double Consonant, Sokuon, Daily Language Communication, Comic.

This study presents the individuals' responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. Considering that many institutions and working places were closed due to the pandemic, the possible impact of COVID-19 restrictions on individuals was assessed. The study examined the number and frequencies of respondents in the survey including demographic variables (gender, income), and future expectation on economic situation and psychological conditions. There were 218 individuals from 24 European countries participating in the survey. The percentage of respondents, discovering personal strength (previously unaware of) during restrictions was 40%. This is a high percentage showing that isolation may contribute to self-discovery. Despite annoying restrictions, many individuals expressed their economic optimism for the future. Also, most of the participants stated that they had not enough money during these restrictions. Also, this study shows that trust in governments, the European Union (EU) and the World Health Organization (WHO) was low during the pandemic restrictions. The results of this study might be useful and taken into account for potential future waves of this pandemic and possible new pandemics that may occur in the future.
