Conducted are researches of dynamics of glutathione reduced form maintenance in the leaves of arboreal plants which grow in the zones of different level of contamination by industrial emissions of“Red Lead Factory” LTD and ArselorMittal Kryvyi Rig. For comparison, similar  investigations were conducted in the intact Botanic Garden in s.c.t. Sofievka. Findings testify to absence of negative influence of industrial emissions and, thus, the arboretum of botanical garden also can be examined as conditional control. It was stated that it is set a few strategies of active oxygen forms and their metabolites deactivation, appearing in cells under action of environment negative factors. To our opinion, fluctuation of glutathione reduced form maintenance can examine as an index of plants stability, on which investigational species can be distributed on steady and moderato steady.

In this study, we observed the flowering phenology, breeding system, pollination and seed germination of four species of Calligonum (C. calliphysa, C. rubicundum, C. densum and C. ebinuricum) in the Turpan Eremophytes Botanic Garden, China. Our results showed that the species had overlapping flowering phenologies and were pollinated by similar pollination agents. Their breeding systems were self-compatible, and with signs of outbreeding, but not of hybridization with each other; the main isolation mechanism was post-zygotic isolation and they also had high seed germination rates. Therefore, they are suited to ex situ conservation in the Turpan Eremophytes Botanic Garden, and can supply sufficient seeds for renewal populations and the conservation of germplasm resources. Furthermore, these results provide theoretical support for the construction of a national germplasm resource garden of Calligonum, and for the introduction to the garden of other eremophyteplants and their conservation.

The poisoning effect of single elements on commercial V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalysts has been studied in the past decades. In this study, the combined effects of two multi-element systems (phosphorus-potassium and phosphorus-lead) on V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalysts were studied by diverse characterizations. The results show that potassium and lead can result in the deactivation of catalysts to different degrees by reacting with active acid sites and reducing the amount of V5+. However, phosphorus displays slight negative influence on the NOx conversion of the catalyst due to the comprehensive effect of reducing V5+ amount and generating new acid sites. The samples poisoned by phosphorus–potassium and phosphorus–lead have higher NOx conversion than that by potassium or lead, because doped potassium or lead atoms may react with new acid sites generated by phosphate, which liberates more V–OH on the surface of catalysts and reduces the poisoning effects of potassium or lead on vanadium species and active oxygen species.

Abstract The goal of this paper is twofold. First, we study the figure and work of the medicine doctor and naturalist Ángel Guirao Navarro, head of the Secondary School of Murcia. This versatile teacher played an important role in the development of scholar spaces for the practical teaching of Natural History by contributing with natural objects collected by him or acquired by the Secondary School of Murcia. We also analyse the pedagogical materials for this teaching such as: textbooks, herbarium and wall papers. On the other hand, we study the space used for the practical teaching of botany and agriculture. The role of Ángel Guirao in the development of the Botanical Garden was key for it to become one of the most complete educative gardens of Spain with the construction of glass greenhouses, shade structures, one teaching pavilion, as well as the acquisition of plants and seeds provided by the Botanical Garden of Valencia, the Royal Botanic Garden of Madrid and the Agronomic Institute of La Moncloa. Palabras claves: Botánica, Historia Natural, educación, espacios escolares, enseñanza de la botánica, jardines botánicos. Botanic garden is associated with environment conservation, outdoor recreation and education programme for students. The learning opportunities that take place in the garden functions as a window of knowledge, a platform to build better understanding beside aroused cognitive skills during visitation. This study is aimed to identify the potential of Putrajaya Botanical Garden as a learning environment. The finding showed the male respondents rated higher than the female in all attributes associated with experiential learning at the garden. With good practice of design and management, this garden can continuously serves as successful educational learning environment and achieve its mission. Keywords: Experiential learning; leisure setting; botanic garden; educational learning environmentISSN: 2398-4287© 2017. The urgency of the problem under investigation is caused by the need of regions (subjects of the Russian Federation) for economic security. In the conditions of the crisis, the recession in the economy, social problems in the regions of Russia are aggravated, the standard of living of the population is decreasing, and the tension in the labor market is increasing. To mitigate the negative factors affecting this, it is necessary to take decisions aimed at improving the structure of the regional economy, supporting certain industries, spheres, and attracting investments. This is all to ensure economic security. The purpose of the article is to develop recommendations of the region (subject of the federation) on the example of Perm Krai to ensure economic security. The leading methods of research of this problem are the analysis of theoretical sources, statistical analysis, comparison, SWOT-analysis. Statistical analysis occupies the most important place, since data on the economy state and social sphere of the region can be directly obtained from statistical databases. This article presents the main approaches to the concept of economic security in the region, defines the components of economic security, and compares the economic security of Perm Krai and a number of other regions. It was concluded that the economic security of Perm Krai is rather weak, which is connected with the influence of negative factors of the external environment (typical for the entire Russian economy in recent years), with unresolved problems in the region, which increase the negative influence of environmental factors. The materials of the article are of practical value for the organization of public administration at the regional level (at the level of the subject of the federation in Russia or at the level of regions in other countries), for making decisions related to ensuring the economic security of the region.
