This study aims to determine the effect of income tax expense and dividend policy on leverage policy at manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016, This study uses secondary data in the form of financial statements. The research population is listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016. The sampling method used is purposive sampling with the sample of research amounted to 32 companies so that the research observation amounted to 160. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the research shows that: (1) income tax expense has significant effect on leverage policy, (2) dividend policy has no effect on leverage policy, and (3) income tax expense and dividend policy simultaneously have significant effect on leverage policy.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity and growth rates on dividend policy. The research population was focused on manufacturing companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017, totaling 139 companies. Based on the sampling criteria with nonprobability sampling method with purposive sampling technique obtained a sample of 22 companies with a time of observation for 5 years, so that the number of observations obtained as many as 110 observations. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that profitability and liquidity have a significant positive effect on dividend policy in manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the growth rate has a significant negative effect on dividend policy in manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of partially or simultaneously financial leverage and dividend policy on firm value in manufacturing companies on the Indonesian stock exchange. Data collection uses secondary data using purposive sampling technique. The population in this study is the automotive sub-sector manufacturing companies and components listed on the Indonesia stock exchange during the 2014-2016 period of 15 companies, while the samples taken were the number of observations for 3 years (2014-2016) with the number of companies observing 12 obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that all hypotheses have a significant effect based on the t test and F test. This means that both partially and simultaneously financial leverage and dividend policy have a significant effect on firm value in manufacturing companies on the Indonesian stock exchange.

This study aims to examine whether short term debt has a negative effect on company profitability and to test whether long term debt has a negative effect on the profitability of manufacturing companies in Indonesia which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2018 period. This study has 1 dependent variable namely profitability and uses 2 independent variables namely short term debt and long term debt, and uses 2 control variables namely liquidity and firm size. This study uses secondary data with database collection techniques. The sample of this study was 432 companies in 5 years of research. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis through the application of SPSS 22. The results found that short term debt has a negative effect on company profitability and long term debt has a negative effect on company profitability. This shows that the lower the company's debt, the higher the profitability a company will get and otherwise.

The ownership structure and financial factors are considered influential to the dividend policy of a company. Thus the aim of this study is to examine the effects of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, liquidity, leverage, and profitability on dividend policy. This study uses quantitative approach and analyzes samples taken from the financial statements of 161 different manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange between 2015-2017. These samples are then selected using purposive random sampling in which only 49 samples fit the criteria. The data analysis technique used is the multiple linear regression analysis technique. This study concludes that institutional ownership, managerial ownership, liquidity, and profitability have positive and significant effects on dividend policy. This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity position, leverage, profitability, and firm size against dividend policy. Dependent variable in this research is dividend policy measured by dividend payout ratio. Independent variables used are the position of liquidity, leverage, profitability, and company size. This research is an associative research with a causal approach. The population of this research is a manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2012 until 2014. Samples determined by purposive sampling method, with the number of samples of 28 manufacturing companies so that the total observation in this study as much as 84 observations. The data used in this research is secondary data. Data collection techniques using documentation method through IDX official website: www.idx.co.id.Metode data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of software SPSS for Windows 22.Result research proves that the liquidity position does not affect the dividend policy on the company manufacturing listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2012-2014. Profitability and firm size have a positive effect on dividend policy on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2012-2014, and leverage negatively affect dividend policy on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2012-2014.

This study aims to analyze the influence of Free Cash Flow, Profitability, Liquidity and Leverage on Dividend Policy. This research was conducted at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the Consumer Goods Industry sector in the 2015-2018 period. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. This study used purposive sampling technique to obtain samples according to the specified criteria. The number of companies based on the criteria in the study were 13 companies. The results of this research are free cash flow, liquidity, and leverage have no significant effect on dividend policy, while profitability has a significant positive effect on dividend policy.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of operation cash flow, net profit, and debt toward the devidentic policy on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research population is manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange, and continues to distribute dividends to shareholders during the observation period 2015-2018. The sampling technique used in this study is the purposive sampling method and based on the technique, the number of samples that meet the requirements is 10 companies with a period of 4 years (2015-2019), so the number of samples is 40 companies. The analytical method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of study are 1) based on the results of the T Test, the T calculated operation cash flow is 3,026 because the value of T arithmetic 3.026 > T table 1.69 then Ho or the first hypothesis is rejected, it means that there is a partial influence between operation cash flow and dividend policy, 2) based on the results of the T Test, T calculate net profit obtained by -1,451 because the value of T count -1.451 < T table 1.69 then Ho or the first hypothesis is accepted, it means that there is no partial influence between net profit and dividend policy, 3) based on the results of the T-Test, the T-calculated debt obtained by -1,241 because the value of T count -1,241 < T table 1.69 then Ho or the first hypothesis is accepted, it means that there is no partial influence between debt and dividend policy, and 4) based on the F Test, the F calculated independent variable is 6.115 because the F value is 6.115 > F table 2.87, Ho or the first hypothesis is rejected, it means that there is a simultaneous influence between operation cash flow, net profit, and debt toward the devidentic policy. . The dividend payout ratio determines the amount of profit divided into cash dividends and retained earnings as a source of funding. This ratio shows the percentage of company earnings paid to the company's common shareholders in the form of cash dividends. This research was conducted at manufacturing companies listed on BEI. The technique of determining the sample in this study using purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data derived from annual financial statements. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques. Manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange from 2012-2015 amounted to 143, while companies that fit the criteria in this study as many as 21 companies or 15%. Data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The result of hypothesis testing from this research shows that firm size and return on assets influence to dividend payout ratio while cash position, ownership, free cash flow, investment opportunity set does not affect dividend payout ratio.

This research is meat to analyze the effect of liquidity and institutional ownership on dividend policy with profitability as an intervening variable. The population in this study were sub-food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018 using annual financial statement data taken by purposive sampling, so that the results of 35 (thirty five) samples that met the criteria were obtained. The selected sampling criteria are 1) Sub-food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2014-2018. 2) Sub-food and beverage manufacturing companies that distribute dividends in a row in the 2014-2018 period. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis with a significant level of 5%, the results of this study indicate that: 1) Liquidity (CR) has no significant effect on dividend policy. 2) Institutional Ownership (IC) does not significantly influence dividend policy (DPR). 3) Profitability (ROA) has a positive and significant impact on dividend policy (DPR). 4) Profitability (ROA) is not able to mediate the effect of liquidity (CR) on dividend policy (DPR). 5) Profitability (ROA) is able to mediate the effect of Institutional Ownership (KI) on dividend po
