INVESTIGATION OF THE PROBLEM OF OPTIMIZATION OF THE HIERARCHICAL STRUCTURE OF A SPARSE AND DENSE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

The article is devoted to the study of the optimization problem for the hierarchical structure of a multicommodity communication network with discrete flows and parameters when its density changes (the ratio of the number of network arcs to the maximum possible number of arcs for a given number of nodes in the network). The network has three levels of hierarchy — a backbone, a zonal and a internal and four types of nodes — backbone nodes of the first, second and third types, forming the backbone and zonal levels of the network, and nodes of the fourth type, which subordinate to each backbone node and form the internal levels of the network. The types of nodes different from one another in functionality. The main task of the study is to establish how the structure of the backbone network changes (the number and location of backbone nodes of the first, second and third types), the scheme of processing and distribution of flows and technical and economic indicators of the network's functioning for various degrees of its density. The principles of organizing the sorting and distribution of flows in a three-level network and its mathematical model are given. A mathematical model of the problem of optimizing the structure of the backbone network and the schemes of sorting and distribution of flows is formulated. The algorithms for solving the problem are based on the discrete analogue of the local descent method proposed earlier by the authors, when the neighborhoods of the metric space of possible solutions are chosen from heuristic considerations, taking into account the peculiarities of the problem being solved. Computer modeling of the problem on a homogeneous network containing 100 nodes with a change in the degree of nodes from 2 to 99 is carried out. The modeling was carried out on the example of a road transport network for the transportation of cargo using a computer program, which is part of the instrumental software of the Information and Analytical Decision Support System (IA DSS), which is being developed at the Institute of Telecommunications and Global Information Space of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. An experimental study of the solution to the problem showed that the best technical, economic and operational indicators of its functioning are achieved with a degree nodes from 9 to 14, when high network connectivity is ensured, and is significantly reduced the average and maximum time of delivery of cargos to recipients. The proposed computer technology for solving problem with changing network density allows you to interactively modeling various options of a network , changing the topology, hierarchical structure, flows, parameters and constraints of the model and from the family of the resived results choose the best option, taking into account the selected a goal function and the accepted constraints; calculate preliminary technical and economic indicators of the network's functioning, estimate the cost of additional resources and plan the amount of investment required for the modernization and construction of its structural elements, which ultimately makes it possible to increase the efficiency functioning of the network by optimizing use of its resources and reducing the operating costs for the processing and transportation of flows.

The article describes the possibility of using the «Method of analysis of hierarchies» when choosing the type of separator. These calculation methods are used to determine the vector of priorities and alternatives according to specified criteria, as well as to assess the consistency of expert opinions. The task is set, alternative options and criteria for selecting a separator design are presented. A hierarchical structure is built for various designs of separators. The method of calculation for a variety of indicators that characterize the types of separation equipment is presented. Based on the results presented in accordance with the technical and economic indicators, the optimal design of the separator is determined

Variants of the intensification of the solvent dewaxing process, which increase the yield of base oils, are described. One of the promising ways to improve the technical and economic indicators of the dewaxing process is the use of modifying additives. The work shows that the introduction of a polymer additive requires a decrease in the filtration rate and, accordingly, an increase in the performance of the dewaxing unit. This results in a petrolatum with a reduced oil content, which is a qualifying factor for the production of high-melting ceresins, protective-wax components, and lubricants for various purposes.

AbstractThe following paper depicts the history of Saint Simeon Stylites Uniate Parish in Rachanie since it became known in historical sources until 1811- that is the time it ceased to be an independent church unit. The introduction of the article contains the geographical location of the parish, its size and the position within the hierarchical structure of the Church. Having analysed post-visit inspection protocols left by Chelm Bishops, the appearance as well as fittings and ancillary equipment of the church in Rachanie in that particular period are reported. Moreover, the list of 4 local clergymen is recreated and their benefice is determined. As far as possible, both the number of worshipers and the number of Holy Communion receivers is determined.

При выборе типа доильной установки и ее размера необходимо учитывать максимальное планируемое поголовье дойных коров и размер технологической группы, кратность и время одного доения, продолжительность рабочей смены дояров. Анализ технико-экономических показателей наиболее распространенных на сегодняшний день типов доильных установок одинакового технического уровня свидетельствует, что наилучшие удельные показатели имеет установка типа «Карусель» (1), а установка типа «Елочка» (2) требует более высоких затрат труда и средств. Установка «Параллель» (3) занимает промежуточное положение. Из анализа пропускной способности и количества необходимых операторов: установка 2 рекомендована для ферм с поголовьем дойного стада до 600 голов, 3 — не более 1200 дойных коров, 1 — более 1200 дойных коров. «Карусель» — наиболее рациональный, высокопроизводительный, легко автоматизируемый и, следовательно, перспективный способ доения в залах, особенно для крупных молочных ферм. The choice of the proper type and size of milking installations needs to take into account the maximum planned number of dairy cows, the size of a technological group, the number of milkings per day, and the duration of one milking and the operator's working shift. The analysis of technical and economic indicators of currently most common types of milking machines of the same technical level revealed that the Carousel installation had the best specific indicators while the Herringbone installation featured higher labour inputs and cash costs. The Parallel installation was found somewhere in between. In terms of the throughput and the required number of operators Herringbone is recommended for farms with up to 600 dairy cows, Parallel — below 1200 dairy cows, Carousel — above 1200 dairy cows. Carousel was found the most practical, high-performance, easily automated and, therefore, promising milking system for milking parlours, especially on the large-scale dairy farms.
