The paper presents models for describing the operating scenarios of automated systems. The authors introduce and analyze the category “the life cycle of automated system scenarios”. The life cycle consists of a sequence of stages. The leading success factor of any scenario is the support of the scenario during all stages of its life cycle. The most important stages of the scenario life cycle are the following: the stage of forming the event set for generating the scenario, the stage of performing the sequence of scenario events and the stage of situational analysis of the external and internal environment of the event. In the article it is proposed to use a theoretical set model in order to select an element from a set of alternatives. The elements are events for designing a scenario. The model uses fuzzy logic and is based on the process of controlling an array of parameters if variants are available. The model is used to support the stage of forming a set of events for generating the scenario. The mathematical model of automated system operation which is used to support the stage of performing the sequence of scenario events is suggested in the article. The model is based on the principle of information logistics: each parameter (a set of data) is in the right place in the automated system, ‘just-in-time’ and in the required format. A modified frame model is proposed to support situational analysis. The situational analysis is used to operate the event algorithms and to determine the next event in the scenario. The modified frame model is based on the use of fuzzy logic procedures in a frame network.

Once dependent on family to bury and memorialize the dead, caring for the deceased has become increasingly precarious in the wake of a decreasing and aging population, a trend towards single households, and downsizing of social relationality—including the temple parishioner system once key in mortuary rituals. In the new “ending” marketplace emerging today to help Japanese manage this precarity, automated graves offer customers a convenient burial spot in an urban ossuary where ashes, interred in a deposit box, are automatically transferred to a grave upon visitation. Based on ethnographic fieldwork, the article examines the just-in-time delivery system at work in automated graves, arguing that the mechanism serves as a social prosthesis, propping up the allure of social caring for the dead, even for those whose ashes are never visited by human relations. With over 30 such institutions now operating in Japan, automated graves are a sign of changing sociality between the living and the dead.

Based on ultimate goal of each company in gaining maximum profit with minimum total cost then one of alternative should be done in achieving this goal is avoiding excessive raw material stock resulting in high storage cost. The object of this research is CV. Pabrik Mesin Guntur Malang,an industrial water pumpcompany which is having difficulty in controlling raw material stock so that it often experiences abundant stocks. So,the problem is how to make stock controli n order to reduce stocks a mount that will result in storage cost reduction. Production S ystem Just in Time applying Karban system, that has been being implemented this far by Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan, is proposed to be implemented in that company as well in order to reduce prevailing inefficiency result from this existing problem. By applying Kanban system as support for the Production System Just in Time, it is shown that the system is capable in reducing stocka mount by 77.56%f or GTR type water pump and 89.59% for GTO type water pump. While reductions of storage cost achieved are78.99% for GTR type water pump and 90.45% for GTO tlpe water pump

Cost rationalization has become imperative in every economic system in order to create adequate foundations for its efficient and sustainable management. Competitiveness in the global market is extremely high and it is challenging to manage business and logistics systems, especially in regards to financial parameters. The presence of inventories is inevitability in every logistics system, and it tends to create adequate policies for their efficient and sustainable management. In order to be able to do this, it is necessary to determine which products represent the largest percentage share in the value of procurement, and which are the most represented quantitatively. In this paper, the warehouse of construction material that represents the wholesale system is considered. Taking into account that it is wholesale, it is necessary to determine what the procurement costs are and what the demand is for certain products. The grouping of products into three categories A, B and C was performed, after which it is necessary to identify appropriate suppliers for each category in order to rationalize procurement costs. Financial, logistical and quality parameters are taken into account. The FUCOM method has been used to determine the significance of these parameters and ARAS method is applied for supplier evaluation and selection.

Most people in Batam hinterland work as a fisherman. The process of the fishery product distribution, however, is inefficient. The absence of marketplace causes fishermen's difficulty in selling their fishery products. This sales and distribution problem can be mediated using our web application. This research attempts to facilitate customer to customer (C2C) transaction by providing fishery products information via text messages. The SMS gateway is deemed to be the best alternative in a rural area with poor infrastructure. Fishermen are only required to send information about their fishery product in a text message with their phone and the system will receive and display them. The payment is then done using the Cash on Delivery system (COD). This research concludes that the system runs smoothly; it can display the fishery product offers and manage the fishermen and their fishery product data. The SMS gateway test showed a good result in the experiment involving 10 consecutive texting with three different treatments.

The article deals with the basic concepts of business process management enterprise, the advantages and disadvantages of the pushing system, aimed at meeting the needs of the enterprise in resources, accompanied by minimal transport and storage costs and pulling system material flow organization , in which resources are fed from the previous operation to the next, in accordance with the needs. The article also offers the concept modification variant of Just in time (JIT), which we call VM (variability in manufacturing), the variable production concept . The main idea of the VM concept is to be able to combine a pulling and pushing system. The main advantage of this logistics systems consolidation is the ability to vary production capacity in individual segments of the system. This model can be used in the production of goods with different demand dynamics for its components.
