Cloud computing is the next stage in the web service evolution, providing computing power, applications, business processes etc., delivered as a service on demand. Nowadays the online service delivery progresses and gets into different areas of life. The information and communication technologies thrust permanently in the education. It is quite natural for the cloud computing to find their application. In a cloud computing system, there's a significant workload shift. Local computers have no longer to run applications. Instead of them the network of computers, which forms the cloud, handles it. Besides, the hardware and software requirements on the user's computer decrease. The only thing that the user needs to run the cloud computing service is a Web browser and an Internet connection.E-learning is popularized and enforced in many training institutions, especially in the distance and part-time learning. It is universal and can be used both in the education process and in training employees, enhancing their qualification, competence check, and more.In the paper is discussed the cloud model, which has five essential characteristics, three service models and four deployment models.Google Apps is popular public Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud service model, which provides software applications developed by Google. The Google Apps package includes communication tools – Gmail, Calendar, Hangout and Google+, personal disk space, which can be shared – Drive, applications for collaborative work – Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and Sites. All applications are costless after free registration and login to the platform. The Google Apps can be used to develop shared Web-based learning materials. The main advantage is that they are free, accessible at any time, from anywhere and any device. Another feature is that they do not have specific hardware and software requirements. A device with an Internet connection and a browser is enough.A detailed overview of Google Apps tools is made in the article and their application in the e-learning is proposed. In conclusion of the study is summarized that the Google Apps package can be: 1) used to prepare and share learning materials; 2) used to create knowledge tests, quizzes and receive any feedback information; 3) used for collaborative work with the tools; 4) used to manage and share events calendar, timetables, to-do-lists and more; 5) used for practical exercises to work with office tools. All this is free and publicly accessible at any time, from any device.

Due to the constant performance upgrades and regular price reductions of mobile devices in recent years, users are able to take advantage of the various devices to obtain digital content regardless of the limitations of time and place. The increasing use of e-books has stimulated new e-learning approaches. This research project developed an e-book hub service on a cloud computing platform in order to overcome the limitations of computing capability and storage capacity that are inherent in many mobile devices. The e-book hub service also allows users to automatically adjust the rendering of multimedia pages at different resolutions on terminal units such as smartphones, tablets, PCs, and so forth. We implemented an e-book hub service on OpenStack, which is a free and open-source cloud computing platform supported by multiple large firms. The OpenStack platform provides a large-scale distributed computing environment that allows users to build their own cloud systems in a public, private, or hybrid environment. Our e-book hub system offers content providers an easy-to-use cloud computing service with unlimited storage capacity, fluent playback, high usability and scalability, and high security characteristics to produce, convert, and manage their e-books. The integration of information and communication technologies has led the traditional publishing industry to new horizons with abundant digital content publications. Results from this study may help content providers create a new service model with increased profitability and enable mobile device users to easily get digital content, thereby achieving the goal of e-learning.

Generation Z students are inherently different than previous generations. These students may need adapted forms of instruction in order to match their learning styles. Collaborative learning can be adapted using cloud-computing, which helps students work together online and manage their interactions. These students may benefit from a technological twist to a common instructional strategy and are inclined to use online means of communication to complete coursework. Technology has dominated the educational experiences of these students and they are no strangers to collaborative work through e-learning platforms. Higher education institutions and instructors must develop the format of courses in order to meet the technological learning preferences of Generation Z.

With the advent of new technologies, companies and academic institutions are striving to keep pace with the advancement in Information and Communication Technologies and to streamline the way to manage or upgrade their IT resources. Cloud Computing provides an alternative solution to achieve these objectives within budget. A number of colleges and universities all over the world are implementing cloud infrastructure to reduce the IT operational cost and increasing the effectiveness and convenience of educational services. Cloud computing can play an important role in the education sector in providing ubiquitous access (anytime, anywhere, independent of device) to the learning material. This approach provides a new way to design and manage IT resources in an efficient manner not only by increasing the user’s productivity and hardware utilization but also decreasing infrastructure cost through virtualization. This research paper presents a smart e-learning system based on cloud platform in delivering and sharing e-learning resources. The authors also discuss the features of the smart E-Learning system over the traditional system and propose architecture of smart e-learning system for the education institutions.

In today's scenario, e-learning has become a significant part of the academic environment as well as of the corporate training sectors. Advancement in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTS) has brought new intersection of education, teaching, and learning that defines e-learning. E-learning systems deliver information for education at any time and at any place in an efficient manner. E-learning system consists of course content or learning materials in the form of nodes. These nodes are linked such that users can traverse the other nodes in the hypermedia environment. These learning concepts are available synchronously and asynchronously in different ways of representation. This presents learning materials in a disorganized manner to the learners. Due to this, learners may decline to adapt the learning material or may deviate from their goals. This requires a user model to respond to different needs of a learner. To handle the uncertainty of learner's mind while learning the concepts an intuitionistic fuzzy approach is used.

Applications are often multi-tier and require application servers, workflow engines, and database management systems. Cloud computing is a computing paradigm wherein the resources such as processors, storage, and software applications are provided as services via the Internet. Moving an enterprise application to the cloud can be a challenge. This application needs to be split into the components that then automatically deploy on the cloud. In this chapter, the authors introduce a way to automatically derivate the main architecture components from the software requirements that can serve as a basis for an architecture diagram in the MOCCA method. The proposed approach is model and use case driven.

An ideal computing system is a computing system with ideal characteristics. The major components and their performance characteristics of such hypothetical system can be studied as a model with predicted input, output, system and environmental characteristics using the identified objectives of computing which can be used in any platform, any type of computing system, and for application automation, without making modifications in the form of structure, hardware, and software coding by an external user. In this paper, we have proposed cloud computing service model to be used as a part of computing processor section enabled through information communication technology concept and discussed how it will support the computing processor part of ideal computing processor section by providing virtual system components with both hardware and software from the cloud to realize ideal computing system model. In this model, the infrastructure required for an ideal computing processor section is owned by a third party vendor and the cloud computing services are delivered to the ideal computing system over the Internet on a leased/wireless basis with the capability to extend up or down their service requirements or needs ubiquitously and almost infinite scale-up capability. A well designed flexible cloud computing system can work and fulfill the requirement of the processing section of an ideal computing device. It also offers an innovative business concept for organizations to adopt ideal computing services without advance investment and enables convenient, on-request network accessibility to a shared pool of IT computing resources like networks, servers, storage, applications, and services
