Mobile adhoc networks (MANETs) have drawn attention to multitudinous consideration because of the univerality of mobile devices as well as the developments in wireless era. MANET is a peer-to-peer multi hop cellular wireless era community which does not have both difficult and speedy infrastructure and a relevant server. Every vertex of a MANET performs like a router and communicates with every unique. There exist numerous information duplication strategies which were presented to reduce the execution squalor. All are concluded that everyone cell vertices cooperate completely from the perspective of sharing their memory vicinity. But, via a few methods few vertices might additionally behave selfishly and determine simplest to cooperate in part or never with different vertices. The selfish vertices ought to then lessen the overall information approachability within the network. From this work, we try to take a look at the influence of selfish vertices in a mobile ad hoc community in terms of reproduction issuance i.e Selfish nodes are dealt with in replica allocation.

Mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) are self-configuring without any fixed infrastructure. In MANET the challenge of providing QoS support during multimedia application is an open problem.  To enhance the network throughput adequate amount of bandwidth is required. Bandwidth management in MANET plays a vital role in improving the networks overall performance. In this paper a systematic study has been carried out about challenging issues associated with bandwidth management during routing in MANET and analysis has been done about different models of bandwidth management.

Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) and Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) are autonomous systems connected by wireless communication on a peer-to-peer basis. They are self-organized, self-configured, and self-controlled infrastructure-less networks. These kinds of networks have the advantage of being able to be set-up and deployed anywhere and anytime because it has a simple infrastructure set-up and no central administration. Distributing information between these nodes over long ranges in such networks, however, is a very challenging task, since sharing information always has a risk attached to it, especially when the information is confidential. The disclosure of such information to anyone else other than the intended parties could be extremely damaging. They are explored in this chapter.
