Abstract.  The objective of this study is to determine the percentage of science process skills of private A accredited high school students in Kecamatan Sukarami and Kemuning. The researcher used descriptive-quantitative method.The sample were the tenth grade students of private high school with A acreditation in four school in Kecamatan Sukarami and Kemuning.The sample was chosen by using Purposive sampling. The data were obtained by using questionnaires, interviews, observations, multiple choice questions, and documentation. The results showed  the percentage of the analysis of science process skills in Kecamatan Sukarami  63.22% (high) and Kemuning 61.25% (high). Kecamatan Sukarami obtained the percentage of indicators namely observing 71.72%, classifying 67.42%, interpreting 67.68%, forecasting 70.71%, formulating a hypothesis 57.07%, planning an experiment 55.05%, and communicating 44.44% . Kecamatan Kemuning obtained the percentage of indicators namely observing 69.22%, grouping 65.52%, interpreting 65.46%, forecasting 70.43%, formulating a hypothesis 50.47%, planning an experiment 51.55%, and communicating 47.85%. This study aims to produce an inquiry-based physics learning device to train high school students science process skills on the subject of material elasticity. The research design uses Kemp model tested in three classes of class XI MIA- 1 , class XI MIA- 2 , and class XI MIA- 6 with total number of students of 90 in SMA Negeri 5 Ambon, second semester of  academic year 2017/201 8.  Group pretest-posttest design was used for test design.  Data analysis techniques used include, 1) Qualitative descriptive analysis including validation result, readability level, Lesson plan implementation, students’ activity, learning constraints, science process skill result , and response. 2) Parametric statistical analysis includes: normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. Finding showed that, 1) validity of learning tools developed is categorized as valid ;  2) the effectiveness of instructional tools in terms of: (a) the attainment of science process skills in the three classes obtained a significant increase in science process skill on each indicator studied by the researcher; (b) The student's response to the device and the learning implementation is very positive with the highest percentage is with teacher guidance when working on worksheet. Based on the finding, physics learning device by using inquiry model to train the students' science process skill which has been developed has met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness that it is feasible to be used to train students' science process skills on materials elasticity

This study aimed to develop a valid science process skills test both in terms of content and constructs. The selected biodiversity material is integrated into this test. The quizizz application is used so that this test can be accessed online. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) 4-D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The final product of this development research is a science process-based test instrument to measure student skills that have been declared valid and feasible by experts in the form of 50 multiple-choice questions. This research trial was conducted on 40 high school students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. Quantitative data analysis was carried out based on the internal characteristics of the test, such as validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and discriminatory power. The results showed that the validity test contained 28 valid questions and 22 invalid questions. In the difficulty index, there are 33 easy questions, 16 easy questions and 0 difficult questions. There is also a distinguishing power of good criteria consisting of 12 questions, sufficient criteria for 20 questions, and flawed criteria for 18 questions. In the validity test with the material aspect, an average of 74% quite valid, the construction aspect on average 77% quite valid, and the language aspect are 91% quite valid. The students' science process skills are also classified as good, with 76.22 in the high category.

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the use of POE learning model to the science process skill of grade VIII SMP students. The research design used in this research is pre experiment with one group pretest posttest design. Sampling was done using a random cluster sampling technique. In this research is also used descriptive method that describes the results of the study. The research instrument used is a test of science process skill in essay form. Prior to the question of science process skill used on the students, the content validation and construct validation were first done, and 16 science test of science process skills were obtained. Student learning outcomes after being given learning by using the model of learning POE in class VIII in SMPN 1 Tarik the results of the achievement of science process skills increased and it can be concluded that the use of effective learning model of POE to the skills of science process students of grade VIII SMP.

This study aims to produce a feasible, practical, and effective Physics learning materials with guided inquiry models to facilitate high school students science process skills on the static fluids. The learning materials were try outed to the class XI SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya in the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014 with the replication of three classes which are class XI-IPA 1, XI-IPA 2, and XI-IPA 3. This research is the development research, with four D models. The trial design using one-group pretest-posttest design. The results were obtained: (1) the validity of learning materials were good category; the readability student textbook and worksheets were good category; (2) learning performance was good category; student’s activities were categorized to students centered learning; (3) students gave the positive mastery of learning with high gain scores; all students are quite able to practice skill process throught the performance test. Based on the result and discussion of this research, it can be concluded that the Physics learning materials with guided inquiry models to facilitate science process skills of high school students on the static fluids were feasible, practical, and effective to be used at learning process. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran Fisika yang  layak, praktis, dan efektif dengan model inkuiri terbimbing untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA pada materi fluida statis. Perangkat pembelajaran tersebut diujikan terhadap siswa kelas XI SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Surabaya tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 dengan replikasi tiga kelas yaitu kelas XI-IPA 1, kelas XI-IPA 2, dan kelas XI-IPA 3. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, dengan model 4-D. Rancangan ujicoba perangkat menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) validitas perangkat pembelajaran berkategori baik; tingkat keterbacaan buku ajar siswa dan lembar kegiatan siswa berkategori baik; (2) keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik; aktivitas siswa menunjukkan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa; (3) respon siswa positif terhadap proses pembelajaran; 93% siswa mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar dengan skor peningkatan yang tinggi; seluruh siswa sudah cukup mampu untuk berlatih keterampilan proses melalui tes kinerja. Berdasarkan hasil dan diskusi penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran Fisika dengan model inkuiri terbimbing untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA pada materi fluida statis layak, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

The study was aimed to investigate the effectiveness of teaching strategy based on Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory to improve multiple intelligences and science process skills of junior high school students in Indonesia. The study used quasi experimental design and the effectiveness of the teaching strategy was evaluated by pretest-posttest-control-group design. The samples consisted of two schools selected by Stratified Random Sampling. The experimental group (n=63) was taught using the MI strategy while the control group (n=61) was taught using the traditional strategy. This study was conducted in 12 weeks. Data were obtained from multiple intelligences test, science process skills test, and observation sheets. The hypotheses of student multiple intelligences and science process skills were tested using Wilcoxon’s Signed Rank Test and ANOVA test. The results indicated that students who were instructed by using MI strategy improved on four specific types of multiple intelligences namely visual spatial, intrapersonal, kinesthetic, and musical intelligences. However, the interpersonal logic remains unchanged, while the mathematical logic decreases after treatment. Also, these showed an improvement of the science process skills, specifically in the questioning ability.
