This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the use of POE learning model to the science process skill of grade VIII SMP students. The research design used in this research is pre experiment with one group pretest posttest design. Sampling was done using a random cluster sampling technique. In this research is also used descriptive method that describes the results of the study. The research instrument used is a test of science process skill in essay form. Prior to the question of science process skill used on the students, the content validation and construct validation were first done, and 16 science test of science process skills were obtained. Student learning outcomes after being given learning by using the model of learning POE in class VIII in SMPN 1 Tarik the results of the achievement of science process skills increased and it can be concluded that the use of effective learning model of POE to the skills of science process students of grade VIII SMP.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dipadu kooperatif jigsaw dan pengaruh kemampuan akademik awal siswa, serta ada tidaknya hubungan antara model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan akademik awal siswa terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design dengan faktorial 2×3. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi berupa kemampuan akademik awal siswa, lembar observasi dan tes keterampilan proses sains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata skor keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi yaitu 83,70 daripada kelas kontrol yaitu 79.03. Nilai rata-rata skor keterampilan proses sains siswa berkemampuan akademik awal tinggi, sedang, dan rendah berturut-turut yaitu 87,00, 81,05, dan 78,38. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dipadu kooperatif jigsaw dan kemampuan akademik awal berpengaruh nyata terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa, serta tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan akademik awal siswa terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP.  THE INFLUENCE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF JIGSAW COOPERATIVE LEARNING INQUIRY MODEL TO SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS Abstract This purposes of research are to know the role of guided inquiry learning model with jigsaw cooperative and the role of initial academic ability, and is there any interaction between learning model and initial academic ability to science process skill of Junior High school.  This research uses posttest only control design with factorial design 2×3. Data collections techniques are documentation for initial academic ability, observation sheet and test for science process ability observation. The output of this research shows that the science process skill average score of experiment class is higher that is 83.70 than the control class that is 79.03. Science process skill average score of students with high, moderate, and low initial academic is 87.00, 81.05, and 78.38. Data analysis shows that guided inquiry learning model with jigsaw cooperative and initial academic ability has influence on science process skill of Junior High School students, and there is no interaction between learning model with initial academic ability to science process skill of Junior High School students.

This study aims to produce an inquiry-based physics learning device to train high school students science process skills on the subject of material elasticity. The research design uses Kemp model tested in three classes of class XI MIA- 1 , class XI MIA- 2 , and class XI MIA- 6 with total number of students of 90 in SMA Negeri 5 Ambon, second semester of  academic year 2017/201 8.  Group pretest-posttest design was used for test design.  Data analysis techniques used include, 1) Qualitative descriptive analysis including validation result, readability level, Lesson plan implementation, students’ activity, learning constraints, science process skill result , and response. 2) Parametric statistical analysis includes: normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. Finding showed that, 1) validity of learning tools developed is categorized as valid ;  2) the effectiveness of instructional tools in terms of: (a) the attainment of science process skills in the three classes obtained a significant increase in science process skill on each indicator studied by the researcher; (b) The student's response to the device and the learning implementation is very positive with the highest percentage is with teacher guidance when working on worksheet. Based on the finding, physics learning device by using inquiry model to train the students' science process skill which has been developed has met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness that it is feasible to be used to train students' science process skills on materials elasticity

Abstract.  The objective of this study is to determine the percentage of science process skills of private A accredited high school students in Kecamatan Sukarami and Kemuning. The researcher used descriptive-quantitative method.The sample were the tenth grade students of private high school with A acreditation in four school in Kecamatan Sukarami and Kemuning.The sample was chosen by using Purposive sampling. The data were obtained by using questionnaires, interviews, observations, multiple choice questions, and documentation. The results showed  the percentage of the analysis of science process skills in Kecamatan Sukarami  63.22% (high) and Kemuning 61.25% (high). Kecamatan Sukarami obtained the percentage of indicators namely observing 71.72%, classifying 67.42%, interpreting 67.68%, forecasting 70.71%, formulating a hypothesis 57.07%, planning an experiment 55.05%, and communicating 44.44% . Kecamatan Kemuning obtained the percentage of indicators namely observing 69.22%, grouping 65.52%, interpreting 65.46%, forecasting 70.43%, formulating a hypothesis 50.47%, planning an experiment 51.55%, and communicating 47.85%. Abstrak: Media pembelajaran berupa alat peraga yang belum digunakan secara maksimal dan belum terintegrasi secara keseluruhan dengan beberapa fungsi percobaan yang dikemas secara rapi menjadi satu. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan alat peraga tekanan untuk melatih keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ditujukan untuk menghasilkan alat peraga tekanan dan mendeksripsikan kelayakan yang meliputi: 1) validitas alat peraga dilihat dari penilaian validator, 2) kepraktisan alat peraga dilihat dari respon siswa, 3) efektivitas alat peraga dilihat dari hasil belajar siswa pada aspek pengetahuan, dan 4) pencapaian keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan menggunakan lembar kerja siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) dengan subjek uji coba pada 32 siswa kelas VIII-D SMP Negeri 11 Banjarmasin. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) validitas alat peraga termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid dengan skor 4.44, 2) kepraktisan alat peraga termasuk dalam kategori praktis dengan skor 76.6, 3) efektivitas alat peraga termasuk  kategori sangat efektif dengan N-Gain 0.71, dan 4) pencapaian keterampilan proses sains siswa termasuk kategori sangat baik dengan rata-rata 85.79. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga layak digunakan untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP kelas VIII. Abstract: Props that have not been used optimally and have not been fully integrated with several experimental functions that are neatly packaged together. Therefore research and development of pressure props are carried out to train students' science process skills. The research is aimed at producing of pressure props and describing feasibility which includes: 1) the validity of the props viewed from the validator's assessment, 2) the practicality of the props viewed from the students' responses, 3) the effectiveness of the props viewed the student learning outcomes in the knowledge aspects, and 4) achievement of students' science process skills using student worksheets. This study uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) with the subject of the trial on 32 students of class VIII-D of SMP Negeri 11 Banjarmasin. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive techniques. The results showed 1) the validity of the props included in the very valid category with a score of 4.44, 2) the practicality of the props included in the practical category with a score of 76.6, 3) the effectiveness of the props included in the very effective category with N-Gain 0.71, and 4) achievement of skills Science process students include very good categories with an average of 85.79. These results indicate that appropriate teaching aids are used to train science process skills of class VIII junior high school students.

This study aims to analyze the investigative skills of Junior High School students upon the use of tracker video analysis for 21th century skill.This reasearch was quasy experimental reasearch using non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population was 8th grade of SMP Negeri 4 Depok in academic year of 2018/2019, which consists of 4 classes with a total of 127 students. The samples consist of 30 students of class VIII A and 30 students of class VIII B, which are selected using cluster sampling technique. The Class VIII A was chosen as the control class, which used powerpoint and video, whereas Class VIII B was prepared as the experiment class, which used Tracker Video Analysis. The instruments used were pretest-posttest questions and observation sheet of investigative skill. The data analysis technique used was t-test. The result of this reasearch shows that the analysis through t-test gives a significance level value of investigative skill of 0.024 (Sig. α). This shows that there is an infuence of investigative skill of students upon Tracker Video Analysis.

The aims of this research are to produce SETS worksheet that can be applied in teaching learning to grow and process skills and scientific attitude for students in Junior High Shcool. The study was a Research and Development (R D ) with students in class VIII SMP N 1 Sewon Bantul as a subject of study. The reseach start form July to November 2015. The study began with a literatature study and field study to obtain information about the problem faced at school, and followed by planning, drafting and validating product by experts. The result shows that SETS worksheet feasible to use in teaching and learning based on the validation result from lecturer, teacher and student response. The SETS Worksheet potential for growing the student's process skills and the scientific attitudeAbstract english version, written using Time New Roman-11, italic. Abstract contain research aim/purpose, method, and reseach results; written in 1 paragraph, single space among rows, using past tense sentences.

The study was aimed to investigate the effectiveness of teaching strategy based on Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory to improve multiple intelligences and science process skills of junior high school students in Indonesia. The study used quasi experimental design and the effectiveness of the teaching strategy was evaluated by pretest-posttest-control-group design. The samples consisted of two schools selected by Stratified Random Sampling. The experimental group (n=63) was taught using the MI strategy while the control group (n=61) was taught using the traditional strategy. This study was conducted in 12 weeks. Data were obtained from multiple intelligences test, science process skills test, and observation sheets. The hypotheses of student multiple intelligences and science process skills were tested using Wilcoxon’s Signed Rank Test and ANOVA test. The results indicated that students who were instructed by using MI strategy improved on four specific types of multiple intelligences namely visual spatial, intrapersonal, kinesthetic, and musical intelligences. However, the interpersonal logic remains unchanged, while the mathematical logic decreases after treatment. Also, these showed an improvement of the science process skills, specifically in the questioning ability.

AbstrakKemampuan literasi statistis siswa sekolah menengah pertama masih rendah. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut dengan melakukan inovasi terhadap model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Berkaitan dengan peningkatan kemampuan literasi statistis tersebut diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dimodifikasi. Metode dalam penelitian ini metode kuasi-eksperimen dengan instrumen penelitian soal tes berupa indikator kemampuan literasi statistis. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah berjumlah 36 orang siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan literasi statistis yang signifikan antara siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dimodifikasi dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dimodifikasi dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi statistis. Enhancing Statistical Literacy Abilities through Modified Project-Based LearningAbstractThe statistical literacy ability of junior high school students is still low. One way to improve this ability is by innovating the applied learning model. Regarding the increase in statistical literacy skills, a modified project-based learning model is applied. The method in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a research instrument about test questions in the form of indicators of statistical literacy. The research subjects of class VIII students at the Tsanawiyah Madrasah were 36 students. The results of the study are that there are significant differences in statistical literacy skills between students who receive a project-based learning model modified by the expository learning model. The modified project-based learning model can be used as an alternative learning model for improving statistical literacy skills.
