The aim of this work is to develop a method for the synthesis of matching devices for broadband radio engineering systems with varying impedance in different operating conditions. To achieve this goal, a criterion (complex criterion) is proposed for minimizing the value of the modulus of the sensitivity invariant of the reflection coefficient function to a change in the load impedance with restrictions on the square of the deviation of the power transmission ratio from a given level. It is proposed to use a combination of methods of real frequencies together with the shown complex criterion, which made it possible to implement an effective approach to the synthesis of matching devices for broadband radio engineering systems with an unstable load impedance. To verify the approach, a matching device was synthesized, which made it possible to reduce the loss of the power transmission factor level transmitted to the UHF/VHF antenna of the AD-44 / CW-TA-30-512 range when it is located in various operating conditions by at least 50 % in relation to losses obtained with a standard matching device.

A method is proposed for the synthesis of broadband matching devices that adapt radio engineering systems to the changing load impedance in a wide range of natural conditions of their operation. The results of experimental studies of the effect of operating conditions on the impedance of VHF and UHF radio antennas with matching devices are presented. An invariant of the sensitivity of the reflection coefficient function to changes in the load impedance is obtained, on the basis of which a complex criterion for the synthesis of broadband matching devices is developed. A broadband matching circuit was synthesized for the AD-44/CW-TA-30-512 antenna device, which provides a gain in the potentially achievable radio line range of up to 5% in relation to the standard matching device. An analytical mathematical model of a broadband matching device is developed and based on it, a matching device adaptive to the changing impedance of the AD-25/CW-3512 antenna is synthesized, providing an average gain in the potentially achievable range of the radio line from 2% to 15% in the framework of the presented experimental studies.

The article is devoted to the study of the process of reducing air pollution in relation to the operating conditions of the drying drum of brick factories. The objectives of the work were to study and identify the physical characteristics of the process of reducing air pollution for the operating conditions of the drying drum of brick factories, for its subsequent effective implementation with the help of engineering systems. A block diagram is suggested of the physical model of the process of reducing air pollution for the considered production and technological conditions, revealing the relationship of a set of consistently and purposefully implemented stages of the cycle of dusting, using physical and energy concept as the theoretical basis. As a result of the study of the process of reducing air pollution, in relation to the operating conditions of the drying drum of brick factories operation, based on the analysis of possible solutions of the problem of dusting, physical features of the process of reducing air pollution for these production and technological conditions were identified for its subsequent effective implementation by means of engineering systems.

Developing the ability for a system to self-monitor its condition is a desirable feature in many modern engineering systems. This capability facilitates a maintenance-as-needed rather than a maintenance-as-scheduled paradigm, offering potential efficiency improvements and corresponding cost savings. By using continuously updated Non-Uniform Rational B-spline (NURBs) metamodels of system performance to monitor the system condition, the onset of incipient faults can be detected by comparison to a self-generated as-built system metamodel, providing a basis for determining off-normal operating conditions. This capability is demonstrated for three distinct fault conditions prevalent in brushless DC motors. The results show that this technique can be used to develop an as-built system metamodel, develop a current system model during system operation, and detect the presence of an incipient fault condition despite the compensation provided by a feedback control system.

Using renewable energy off-grid power supply and choosing the right equipment that meets the operating conditions in the Arctic can provide companies with reliable power sources for producing gas at facilities located in remote areas and will reduce capital and operating costs associated with the construction of power transmission lines. For more than 15 years, a remote control system powered by renewable energy has been used in parallel with power transmission lines by Gazprom to operate its multiwell pads in Russia’s Far North, which validates the relevance of this study. The subject of the study is a group of gas condensate wells that consists of four multiwell pads operated by Wintershall Russland GmbH. The article discusses a stand-alone renewable-based power system as an option for powering remote oil and gas production facilities. The procedures used in the study include calculating such parameters as power output and power consumption, choosing equipment, describing the design features of a power supply system for a multiwell pad, conducting an economic assessment of the project, comparing different power supply options, analyzing project risks, and developing measures to mitigate these risks.
