This research on the factors affecting management of the aging workforce in Kho Wang, Yasothon Province aims to: 1) study the factors affecting management of the aging workforce; and 2) provide guidelines on management of the aging workforce at Kho Wang District, Yasothon Province. This is a qualitative research in which data are derived from literature review in various forms such as text books, research papers, academic materials as well as specialized journals and magazines. Content analysis has been selected as a research methodology, and data presentation is descriptive in nature. The results show that transformation leadership style and management of diversity are important factors that provide positive effects on management of the aging workforce in Amphoe Kho Wang, Yasothon Province. The changing structure of population towards aging society produces a severe shortage at the labor market. As a result, there are less young people joining the workplace. Thus, every organization has to deal with the situation when it lacks employees. Therefore, appropriate management of elderly workforce becomes a challenging issue in HR management for the near future. Firms should be able to use the skills, knowledge, capacity, expertise as well as accumulated experience from the older workers in order to benefit their own organizations.

Abstract Background: Reducing inappropriate referrals to specialists is a challenge for the healthcare system as it seeks to transition from volume to value-based healthcare. Given the projection of a severe shortage of rheumatologists in the near future, innovative strategies to decrease demand for rheumatology services may prove more fruitful than increasing the supply of rheumatologists. Efforts to increase appropriate utilization through reductions in capacity may have the unintended consequence of reducing appropriate care as well. This highlights the challenges in increasing the appropriate use of high cost services as the health system transitions to value based care. The objective of this study was to analyze factors affecting appropriateness of rheumatology services.Methods: This was a cross-sectional study of patients receiving Rheumatology services between November 2013 and October 2019. We used a proxy for “appropriateness”: whether or not there was any follow-up care after the first appointment. Results from regression analysis and physicians’ chart reviews were compared using an inter-rater reliability measure (kappa). Data was drawn from the EHR 2013-2019. Results: We found that inappropriate referrals increased 14.3% when a new rheumatologist was hired, which increased to 14.8% after wash-out period of 6 months; 15.7% after 12 months; 15.5% after 18 months and 16.7% after 18 months. Other factors influencing appropriateness of referrals included severity of disease, gender and insurance type, but not specialty of referring provider. Conclusions: Given the projection of a severe shortage of rheumatologists in the near future, innovative strategies to decrease demand for rheumatology services may prove more fruitful than increasing the supply of rheumatologists. Abstract The present three studies focused on the development and validation of a multifaceted measure of organizational practices for the aging workforce, the Later Life Workplace Index (LLWI). The first study developed a comprehensive item pool based on expert interview evidence from Germany and the United States. Two further studies among workers across industries in Germany (N = 609, N = 349) provided psychometric evidence. The LLWI comprises nine distinct domains of organizational practices for the aging workforce, namely an age-friendly organizational climate and leadership style, certain work design characteristics, health management, individual development opportunities, knowledge management, the design of the retirement transition, continued employment opportunities, and health and retirement coverage. The final LLWI consists of 80 items in total. In addition, the studies demonstrated that the LLWI measures correlated with older workers’ work outcomes such as stress level, workability, person-organization fit, and post-retirement work intentions in meaningful ways. Applications for the LLWI in research and practice are discussed.

Over the decades, more attention has been paid to emissions from the means of transport and the use of different fuels and combustion fuels for the operation of internal combustion engines than on fuel consumption. This, in turn, enables research into products that are said to reduce fuel consumption. The report summarizes four studies of fuel-related innovation products. The studies covered by this report are conducted with diesel fuel and usually contain diesel fuel and three additives for it. Manufacturers of additives are based on already existing studies showing a 10-30% reduction in fuel consumption. Comparative experimental studies related to the use of commercially available diesel fuel with and without the use of additives have been performed in laboratory conditions. The studies were carried out on a stationary diesel engine СМД-17КН equipped with brake КИ1368В. Repeated results were recorded, but they did not confirm the significant positive effect of additives on specific fuel consumption. In some cases, the factors affecting errors in this type of research on the effectiveness of fuel additives for commercial purposes are considered. The reasons for the positive effects of such use of additives in certain engine operating modes are also clarified.

Online learning has become essential in education as the spread of coronavirus 19 (COVID-19) pandemic has brought significant changes to the field. However, education should remain welcoming and supportive to all the learners as it is important to keep the students’ behavioural intention in any form of learning environment. Thus, this study is significant as online learning is leading the trend of education now. Past studies revealed that the factors of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions under the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model affect learners’ behavioural intention to use online learning. This study intended to identify the most significant factors that influence TESL postgraduate students’ behavioural intention towards the use of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also examined the relationship amongst the four factors and postgraduate students’ behavioural intention to use online learning. The participants consisted of 169 postgraduate students at a public university in Malaysia. To achieve the aim, the study utilized a survey design using a questionnaire. The results from regression analysis revealed that all of the factors have positive effects on postgraduate students’ behavioural intention to use online learning. Meanwhile, performance expectancy has the greatest influence on postgraduate students’ behavioural intention. Hence, this study concludes that the practicality and the usefulness of online learning should be highlighted by the authorities.

The term 'Hydroponics' was derived from Greek words 'hydro' means water and 'ponics' means labor. Hydroponic is a modern agricultural technique that uses nutrient solution rather than soil solution for fodder production. As population increases the food demand also increased, the existing system of agriculture will not be able to meet the food requirement in the near future due to environmental challenges in the industry. The major environmental factors affecting the hydroponics production system are; Temperature, relative humidity, and light. The objectives of this studies are to examine the hydroponics greenhouse technologies, impact of environmental factors on hydroponics greenhouse cultivation and challenges of growing on hydroponics greenhouse system. This study revealed that hydroponics greenhouse cultivation is a better option for improved fodder production, water utilization, palatability and digestibility.

To improve the process of mechanical dehydration of semi-finished wet leather products, a multilayer dehydration using felt materials – monshons was experimentally investigated. The process is conducted by vertical feed of semi-finished wet leather products on a base plate between rotating squeezing rollers. The D-optimal method of mathematical planning of the experiment and the Kano design matrix were used for conducting experiments. The multi-layer package consists of five layers of semi-finished wet leather products and two layers of moistureremoving materials between each layer, folded over the base plate. The studies were carried out in laboratory conditions on an experimental bench, taking into account the production parameters of processing. As a result of the study, mathematical dependences of the amount of removed moisture for each of five layers of semifinished wet leather product on the feed speed and the pressure of the squeezing rollers were derived. The analysis of the results showed that, with the existing parameters of mechanical dehydration, it was possible to simultaneously squeeze out moisture from five layers of the semi-finished leather product with a minimum pressure of the squeezing rollers and an average feed speed. The productivity of the technological process was more than five times higher in comparison with the productivity of similar roller machines. In the near future, this research methodology will be used to determine the technological factors affecting the extraction of excess moisture from a package consisting of ten semi-finished wet leather products and moisture-removing materials.

The aim of the study is to conduct a structured review of literature on the antecedents of organizational ambidexterity by reconciling the mixed outcomes produced by the extant literature. This study offers some theoretical insights into the divergent views of authors on these factors by analysing the empirical studies done in the literature. This paper systematically analyses the extant literature on the factors affecting organizations' ambidexterity, using meta-analysis and the theory, context, characteristics, and methodology (TCCM) framework. Forty-three research papers across various journals that discussed the correlation of the variables with organizational ambidexterity were selected. The sample size was 17,383, and 20 variables were selected for the analysis. The results revealed that two variables showed high levels of heterogeneity. The implications of this study are relevant to the present business scenario and of substantial interest to scholars, as they provide a more detailed understanding of the very foundation of organizational ambidexterity.

Background this study that of pts 19 who institusinya have accredited, only seven institutions ( about 37% ) have accredited b ( that was good categorry ) wholly are located in the Pontianak.This condition is allegedly affected by several factors and the internal conditions institutions such as leadership style, the quantity and quality of teachers, availability of supporting deliver pengeloaan administration and order and institutions.Refer of a whole factors, the researchers believed that the authority factors affecting the institutions is leadership style. Although other supporting factors available and adequate, but a style of leadership that is not a right actually make available resources be made of no effect. A style of its own leadership determined by a variety of factors influence it. Methods used in this study is the quantitatif approach to technique data processing using regression analysis. The factors causing as variable 1 ) situation; 2) experience and vision of leader: 3) vision (the foundation of education ); 4), communication and 5 ) cultural organization and leadership style as variable bound. The research results show that simultaneously all of these issues having a level the influence of as much as 0,947 ( extremely powerful category with the influence of as much as 89,8 %.
