The research team divided into two groups of factors, which are internal and external pressures. With primary data obtained from 544 electronics manufacturing enterprises in the Red River Delta and Southeast regions of Vietnam, the team applied two modeling software, SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 25.0. Combined with secondary data, the research team found that business type, size, environmental regulations, market pressures, and efficiency-oriented motivations all affect the level of management involvement. green supply chain. Since then, the research team has developed recommendations based on these groups of variables with the goal of promoting the participation of enterprises in the green supply chain management model.

PQR’s company is a company that located in Citeureup Tasikmalaya. The company is engaged in the production of snacks such as mie lidi. The production strategy that used by this company is a make to stock. The company organizes activities from upstream to downstream. Activities that occur in the upstream is to procure raw materials to suppliers by purchasing department. However, some problem was found when the purchasing department has difficulty determining the amount of raw material for the procurement process. This is due to uncertain demand from distributors. While the activities in downstream is sending the product to distributor by shipping department. Some problem that occurs in the downstream were shipping department has difficulty to make schedule product shipments because there was a delay in the product delivery process. All problem occurs because there is no system that can manage supply chain information. So, the implementation of supply chain management by using the forecasting method of single moving average and calculation of sale limits of raw material and product inventory using safety stock method, it was expected to provide a solution to this problem.

Tuna production potential of Palabuhanratu, Sukabumi District, is very high but the fishery is not supported by a good supply chain. In this location, there are two existing chains namely fresh and derivative-product chains; both are influenced significantly by seasonal variables. This research aims to analyze integrated supply chain management for tuna fishery in Palabuhanratu. Data for this research comprises both primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through interviews with 20 respondents representing fishermen, 10 representing wholesalers, 10 representing retailers, 10 representing consumers, all of which were drawn from following the snowball sampling technique. Meanwhile, secondary data were time series tuna production statistics made available from the printed report of the Sukabumi District Fishery Office. This research employed the factor analysis and fisheries supply chain management model as the main methodological tools. The result showed that among others, the most influential factors for tuna demand in the research location are price of fish, tuna product diversity, and distribution of tuna catch. On the other hand, in the supply side the most influential factors are fishing season and tuna species. It was identified from the research that with regard to the existing chains, this research identified that there are variants of both the fresh fish and derivative product chains, each of which have some particular drawbacks related to influential factors observed in the other part of this research. It is worth noting here that variants of the fresh tuna chain are: (i) fishers, auction place, wholesalers, retailers, consumers, (ii) fishers, auction place, consumers, (iii) fishers, consumers. Variants of the derivative-product chain are: (i) fishers, auction place, wholesalers, processors, processed fish wholesalers, processed fish retailers, consumers, (ii) fishers, auction place, processors, processed fish wholesalers, processed fish retailers, consumers, (iii) fishers, auction place, processors, processed fish retailers, consumers. In general, this research suggests that improvement should be made through the introduction of an integrative approach aiming to incorporate tools necessary to mitigate negative influential factors and to take advantage the positive ones.

Purpose – In manufacturing industries, the levels of inventories at all stages (i.e. raw material, work-in-process and finished goods inventories) indicate the firm's competitive positioning, strategies, internal processes and relationships with suppliers and downstream customers. The authors identify patterns of manufacturing industries based on levels of raw material and finished goods inventories to classify inbound and outbound supply chain strategies. Design/methodology/approach – The authors review literature on supply chain inventory strategy and perform cluster analysis to analyze patterns of manufacturing industries based on manufacturing industry data collected from US Census of Bureau. Following Porter's Five Forces Model, the authors perform in-depth case studies of four representative industries to analyze factors driving supply chain strategies, including industry intensity of rivalry, threat of new entrants, threat of substitutes, bargaining power of suppliers, and bargaining power of buyers. Findings – This study identifies three streams of research on supply chain strategy: Fisher's model and its variations, lean and agile paradigms, and push/pull systems. It finds that whether an industry shows low or high raw materials or finished goods inventories depending on its products, processes, and the dynamics of all forces described in the Five Forces Model. Research limitations/implications – This study is not able to include supplier selection, production strategies, warehousing and distribution, and even product design into the analysis of supply chain strategy due to data limitation. This study classifies industries based on average inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, while inventory levels and supply chain strategies for specific firms may vary significantly within each industry. Originality/value – This study contributes to the supply chain management literature by providing a parsimonious framework of mapping inbound and outbound supply chain inventory strategies, and the results based on the analyses of all US manufacturing industries provide a baseline picture for supply chain management professionals with manufacturing firms.

Case study is conducted towards 12 SME milkfish processors in Bekasi, at which its raw materials are originated from Karawang Regency through a fresh milkfish supply chain. The potentcy of Karawang Regency as a milkfish producer does not guarantee continuous availability of the raw materials. The objectives of this study were: (1) To evaluate supply chain; and (2) To compile a priority strategy of fresh milkfish supply chain management in Bekasi, West Java. Data collection was conducted by purposive and snowball sampling techniques, starting from SME processors, retailers and collective traders in Bekasi, to milkfish farmers in Ciparage Jaya Village, Tempuran Sub-District, Karawang Regency. The evaluation result showed there was gap between the activities of each supply chain member with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) namely (1) implementation of GMP and SSOP by SME processors, (2) means of transport and storage of fresh fish by collective trader and retailer, (3) good aquaculture practices by farmer and (4) supply chain management by all members along the supply chain. Based on the SWOT and AHP matrix analyses, the development strategies of supply chain by actor was (1) the formation of raw material procurement network and marketing network by SME processor (0.326); (2) the quality improvement of human resource by the government (0.249); (3) the formation of organizations by farmer (0.230), and (4) maintaining partnership in business procurement cost by collective trader (0.195).
