The developments of wireless sensor network are motivated by many applications. It needs the Sensor nodes location. Sensor nodes are based primarily for identification procedure to resolve their significant position. In general, Sensor nodes are capable of some restricted power supply. As a result for detecting the power of sensor nodes an Identification algorithm is used by wireless sensor network. An Efficient Identify Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks with High Precession (AEIAWSNHP) is one efficient energy identification algorithm that has been proposed recently. In this work we examine the blow of using three techniques through the improvement of AEIAWSNHP in civilizing the energy efficient of enhanced AEIAWSNHP.At first, a Distinct-assessment Method, where a node estimate its location simply at one time. Secondly, active power manages; in this place the mention nodes decrease their communication power according to the gap to the node that transmits the position requirements. Third, an addition and expanding request speed method, that regulate the frequentness of dispatching the locate inquiry. The simulation result present that the new technique decreases the power utilization of the updated AEIAWSNH, Accuracy of the location assessment remains unchanged.

Nowadays, the vast majority of information monitoring in industrial plants is still carried out by wired technologies, in which the installation and maintenance cost is high. However, in outdoor applications, such as those used in the oil and gas industry, the use of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is increasing due to mobility, reliability, and low cost of the sensor nodes that make up the network. Moreover, this solution reduces the risks of workers in classified areas (regions with high probability of accidents occurrence) to the extent that the equipment maintenance is optimized. This paper proposes the development of the EEWES, an energy efficient wireless sensor network embedded system, which can be applied on industrial environments. This development approach significantly reduces the energy consumption of the sensor nodes by using a method that alternates sleep periods of the transceiver/sensor set with data transmission/reception periods, which reduces the duty cycle while keeping the desirable parameters of the service quality (QoS). The results presented in this paper will be confirmed by field tests.

In this paper, a monitoring technique based on the wireless sensor network is investigated. The sensor nodes used for monitoring are developed in a simulation environment. Accordingly, the structure and workflow of wireless sensor network nodes are designed. Time-division multiple access (TDMA) protocol has been chosen as the medium access technique to ensure that the designed technique operates in an energy-efficient manner and packet collisions are not experienced. Fading channels, i.e., no interference, Ricean and Rayleigh, are taken into consideration. Energy consumption is decreased with the help of ad-hoc communication of sensor nodes. Throughput performance for different wireless fading channels and energy consumption are evaluated. The simulation results show that the sensor network can quickly collect medium information and transmit data to the processing center in real time. Besides, the proposed technique suggests the usefulness of wireless sensor networks in the terrestrial areas.

In a wireless sensor network, sensor nodes are deployed in an ad hoc fashion and they deliver data packets using multihop transmission. However, transmission failures occur frequently in the multihop transmission over wireless media. Thus, a loss recovery mechanism is required to provide end-to-end reliability. In addition, because the sensor nodes are very small devices and have insufficient resources, energy-efficient data transmission is crucial for prolonging the lifetime of a wireless sensor network. This paper proposes a transmission power control mechanism for reliable data transmission, which satisfies communication reliability through recovery of lost packets. The proposed method calculates packet reception rate (PRR) of each hop to maintain end-to-end packet delivery rate (PDR), which is determined based on the desired communication reliability. Then, the transmission power is adjusted based on the PRR to reduce energy consumption. The proposed method was evaluated through extensive simulations, and the results show that it leads to more energy-efficient data transmission compared to existing methods.

Wireless sensor network consists of various sensor nodes connected through wireless media. Sensor nodes are tiny devices having lesser energy capabilities. Sensor nodes are either ad-hoc or mobile in their environment. Wireless sensor network route of transmission media is discovered by routing protocols and responsible for secure communication between sensor nodes. Energy is a precious resource of sensor nodes, and the entire lifetime of WSNs is depending on the energy capability of the sensor nodes. The fundamental problem is how to organize topology of WSN for deployed sensor nodes with lesser power consumption as possible. Major problems in wireless sensor networks which consume extra energy are interference, control message overhead, packet delay, unnecessary transmission, and bandwidth utilization. Therefore, energy efficient techniques are needed to overcome these problems. Hierarchical routing is the best routing method for finding optimal path between sensor nodes which enhance the lifetime of the network. This paper focuses towards various hierarchical energy efficient routing in wireless sensor networks and analyzes various features of WSN that should consider during designing of routing protocols.

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a particular network built from small sensor nodes. These sensor nodes have unique features. That is, it can sense and process data in WSN. WSN has tremendous applications in many fields. Despite the significance of WSN, this kind of network faced several issues. The biggest problems rising in WSN are energy consumption and security. Robust security development is needed to cope with WSN applications. For security purposes in WSN, cryptography techniques are very favorable. However, WSN has resource limitations, which is the main problem in applying any security scheme. Hence, if we are using the cryptography scheme in WSN, we must first guarantee that it must be energy-efficient. Thus, we proposed a secure hybrid session key management scheme for WSN. In this scheme, the major steps of public key cryptography are minimized, and much of the operations are based on symmetric key cryptography. This strategy extensively reduces the energy consumption of WSN and ensures optimum security. The proposed scheme is implemented, and their analysis is performed using different parameters with benchmark schemes. We concluded that the proposed scheme is energy-efficient and outperforms the available benchmark schemes. Furthermore, it provides an effective platform for secure key agreements and management in the WSN environment.

As Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Network (HWSN) fulfill the requirements of researchers in the design of real life application to resolve the issues of unattended problem. But, the main constraint face by researchers is energy source available with sensor nodes. To prolong the life of sensor nodes and hence HWSN, it is necessary to design energy efficient operational schemes. One of the most suitable routing scheme is clustering approach, which improves stability and hence enhances performance parameters of HWSN. A novel solution proposed in this article is to design energy efficient clustering protocol for HWSN, to enhance performance parameters by EECPEP-HWSN. Propose protocol is designed with three level nodes namely normal, advance and super node respectively. In clustering process, for selection of cluster head we consider three parameters available with sensor node at run time, i.e., initial energy, hop count and residual energy. This protocol enhance the energy efficiency of HWSN, it improves performance parameters in the form of enhance energy remain in the network, force to enhance stability period, prolong lifetime and hence higher throughput. It is been found that proposed protocol outperforms than LEACH, DEEC and SEP with about 188, 150 and 141 percent respectively.

In the recent years, an efficient design of a Wireless Sensor Network has become important in the area of research. The major challenges in the design of Wireless Sensor Network is to improve the network lifetime. The main difficulty for sensor node is to survive in that monitoring area for the longer time that means there is a need to increase the lifetime of the sensor nodes by optimizing the energy and distance. There are various existing routing protocols in which optimal routing can be achieved like Data-Centric, Hierarchical and Location-based routing protocols. In this paper, new power efficient routing protocol is being proposed that not only select the shortest path between the source node and sink node for data transmission but also maximizes the lifetime of the participating nodes by selecting the best path for sending the data packet across the network. The main objective of this research is to develop a faster algorithm to find the energy efficient route for Wireless Sensor Network. Simulation results shows that this strategy achieves long network lifetime when compared to the other standard protocols.

The Wireless sensor network has been highly focused research area in recent times due to its wide applications and adaptability to different environments. The energy-constrained sensor nodes are always under consideration to increase their lifetime. In this paper we have used the advantages of two approaches i.e. fuzzy c-means clustering and neural network to make an energy efficient network by prolonging the lifetime of network. The cluster formation is done using FCM to form equally sized clusters in network and the decision of choosing cluster head is done using neural network having input distance from basestation, heterogeneity and energy of the node. Our Approach has successfully increased the lifetime and data capacity of the network and outperformed different approaches applied to the network present in literature.

For resource constraint network, one uses wireless sensor network in which limited resources are there for sensor nodes. Basic aim of sensor node is to sense something, monitor it and explain it. The issue arises for sensor node is its battery endurance. The battery endurance of sensor node is consuming in communication instead of sensing. In this regard clustering is using now a day’s which reduces endurance consumption. This paper comes with a new clustering protocol MESAEED (Mutual Exclusive Sleep Awake Energy Efficient Distributed clustering), which helps in saving endurance of sensor nodes so that network lifetime will prolong. It is an extension work of previous work MESADC. In previous work cluster head is chooses on the basis of sleep awake mode in mutual exclusive way under communication range and the results were obtained with the help of comparison graph between HEED and MESADC. The proposed MESAEED protocol provides benefit of A* algorithm of heuristic search, HEED and MESADC. MATLAB 8.3 is use for simulation purpose. The comparison graph between HEED, MESADC and proposed MESAEED were shown. Parameters for comparison include alive nodes versus number of rounds taken and number of nodes dead versus number of rounds taken. The graph shows improvement in performance over HEED and MESADC, which results in enhancing lifetime of WSN.
