The purpose of the study is to assess the importance of stock pile sensor plays a pivotal role in the availability of yard equipment’s wiz reclaimers, stackers, stacker cum reclaimers. By increasing the availability of the equipment we can reduce the turnaround time of the vessel by which the customer satisfaction can be achieved optimistically. The stock pile sensor been installed for irregular contact of boom while reclaiming/ stacking, and to prevent damage of bucket wheel teeth from worn out. The stock pile sensor and inter lock system and chute block sensors ensures the reduction of over tons per hour issues arising from sudden stoppage of conveyors along the operational circuit under operations, chutes and tripper car discharge chutes over choked with cargo related issues, considering the parameters of man power, and time factors can be saved and can be used for other maintenance purposes and to get back the circuit into operational effectiveness increasing the availability of the yard equipment’s.

Abstract Context.—Timely reporting of outpatient tests can increase efficiency of care and improve customer satisfaction. Objectives.—We conducted a survey in 2002 to determine how quickly hospital-based laboratories turned around routine requests for 3 common assays and compared the results with a similar survey conducted in 1997. Design.—One hundred eighteen laboratories prospectively recorded the collection-to-verification turnaround time for 9252 complete blood cell counts (CBCs), 8832 thyroid tests, and 9193 basic metabolic panels. Results.—The median facility reported all test results by 7:00 am of the weekday immediately after the date of specimen collection. The bottom 10% of institutions reported 99% of CBCs and basic metabolic panels within 1 day and 60% of thyroid tests within 1 day. The 65 institutions that participated in both the 1997 and 2002 surveys showed significant overall improvement in turnaround time for all 3 types of tests (P < .001). In 2002, federal institutions had significantly slower turnaround times than nonfederal institutions for CBC tests (P < .001), thyroid tests (P = .03), and basic metabolic panels (P < .001). Other demographic and practice variables were not associated with turnaround time. Conclusion.—The turnaround time of routine outpatient tests appears to have improved between 1997 and 2002.

The breast imaging value chain can be used by radiologists to improve operational effectiveness and to plan new value creation strategically. The overarching goals are increased customer satisfaction and successful practices.

The evaluation of the quality of a service is the critical assessment of the degree to which the service, or its component, provides customers’ satisfaction. Monitoring customer satisfaction is an important and useful quality improvement tool for clinical laboratories and health care organizations. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the satisfaction level with laboratory services among attending physicians and to identify factors associated with satisfaction and priorities for quality improvement. A cross-sectional study was conducted at the University Hospital of Kinshasa. Data were collected through a reliable and valid interviewer-administered questionnaire and analyzed by using SPSS version 21. The correlation between associated factors and customer satisfaction was analyzed using the chi-square test and multivariate regression analysis. The Importance-Performance Analysis was the determinant of improvement priority. The overall level of customers’ satisfaction toward clinical laboratory services in this study was 45.2% with a response rate of 330 (100%). Gender (ORadj = 1.75, 95% CI 1.06, 2.91), Department (ORadj = 3.09, 95% CI 1.50, 6.37) and academic title (ORadj = 6.85, 95% CI 3.51, 8.81) were found to have a statistically significant association with the overall satisfaction. Results accuracy (I = 0.944, P = 4.7), laboratory turnaround time (I = 0.932, P = 4.8), and availability of all the tests requested by physicians (I = 0.917, P = 4.9) were the most important opportunities for quality improvement. The overall level of customers’ satisfaction with laboratory services was low. Thus, the laboratory management must establish preventive and corrective measures to improve the results’ accuracy, reduce the laboratory turnaround time, and ensure the availability of all the tests requested by physicians. This study is motivated by the difficulty of determining the strategic placement of advertising material on television, in the media world is often called the Media Plan. A common deficiency is the long turnaround time strategy is less precise data. This can affect the user satisfaction data plan media strategy is the customer of PT. CS Media. Integrated Media Plan System (IMPLANS) was built to help the media strategy plan in order to maintain customer satisfaction, but it is still necessary to study the factors that can influence factors of IMPLANS to customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to optimize the data processing of IMPLANS to customer satisfaction. The methodology used in this study is a quantitative 17 users at PT. CS Media. The results of questionnaire were analyzed using multiple linier regression against the hypothesis of the influence of each variable. Also done some data validity to support the level of confidence of the survey results. The result of this study, there are three e-ServQual variables significantly to customer satisfaction, that is Responsiveness, Flexibility, and Ease of navigation. Based on this study found some more optimal system development.

Abstract Context.—There are multiple elements that can be measured to assess the quality of a surgical pathology laboratory. Overall customer satisfaction is an excellent “global” measure, because it highlights the unique insight of laboratory performance from the users' perspective. Objective.—To measure customer satisfaction with surgical pathology reports. Design.—This study was based on a subscription Q-Tracks study. Voluntary participants were asked to distribute and collect a minimum of 25 surveys per quarter from their clients. Four parameters were graded, which included overall satisfaction, report turnaround time (TAT), completeness, and style on a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent). Each laboratory submitted quarterly data to the College of American Pathologists, where the data were tabulated and analyzed. Each laboratory could compare their performance in all 4 measures against the entire cohort or a selected subgroup of laboratories. Overall customer satisfaction with surgical pathology reports and 3 subcategories of report TAT, completeness, and style were the main outcome measures. Results.—This study ran during 2004 and 2005, with 41 and 33 participant laboratories, respectively. The median score for overall satisfaction, TAT, completeness, and style were 4.57, 4.31, 4.62, and 4.64 in 2004, and 4.64, 4.56, 4.65, and 4.68 in 2005, respectively. Most laboratories reported results for 4 quarters or fewer. There was no statistically significant change in overall satisfaction over time. Conclusions.—Overall satisfaction scores for surgical pathology reports as well as satisfaction with report TAT, completeness, and style were high. Report TAT received the lowest scores of all parameters.

AbstractBackground:Customer satisfaction is a key quality indicator of laboratory service. Patients and physicians are the ultimate customers in medical laboratory, and their opinions are essential components in developing a customer-oriented laboratory.Methods:A longitudinal investigation of customer satisfaction was conducted through questionnaires. We designed two different questionnaires and selected 1200 customers (600 outpatients and 600 physicians) to assess customer satisfaction every other year from 2012 to 2016. Items with scores <4 were considered unsatisfactory, and corrective actions should be taken.Results:The completion rates of physicians were 96.8% in 2012, 97% in 2014 and 96.5% in 2016, whereas the rates of patients were 95.3%, 96.2% and 95.2%, respectively. In 2012, the most dissatisfaction items were test turnaround time (3.77 points) and service attitude (3.87 points) from physicians, whereas waiting time (3.58 points) and examination environment (3.64 points) were the most dissatisfaction items from patients. After corrective actions were taken, the result of satisfaction in 2014 was better, which illustrated our strategy was effective. However, some items remained to be less than 4, so we repeated the survey after modifying questionnaires in 2016. However, the general satisfaction points of the physicians and patients reduced in 2016, which reminded us of some influential factors we had neglected.Conclusions:By using dynamic survey of satisfaction, we can continuously find deficiencies in our laboratory services and take suitable corrective actions, thereby improving our service quality.

The use of transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to support process development of advanced microelectronic devices is often challenged by a large amount of samples submitted from wafer fabrication areas and specific-spot analysis. Improving the TEM sample preparation techniques for a fast turnaround time is critical in order to provide a timely support for customers and improve the utilization of TEM. For the specific-area sample preparation, a technique which can be easily prepared with the least amount of effort is preferred. For these reasons, we have developed several techniques which have greatly facilitated the TEM sample preparation.For specific-area analysis, the use of a copper grid with a small hole is found to be very useful. With this small-hole grid technique, TEM sample preparation can be proceeded by well-established conventional methods. The sample is first polished to the area of interest, which is then carefully positioned inside the hole. This polished side is placed against the grid by epoxy Fig. 1 is an optical image of a TEM cross-section after dimpling to light transmission.
