In this paper, sinusoidal pulse width adjustment strategy for single stage four levels neutral point clamped inverter is proposed disposed of normal mode voltage. Sinusoidal pulse width modulation is much of the time utilized in modern applications. The gating sign are created by contrasting a sinusoidal reference signal and a triangular bearer sign of recurrence. The quantity of heartbeats per half-cycle relies upon the transporter recurrence

This paper proposes a topology derivation methodology to achieve small leakage current or zero leakage current for photovoltaic application. The core of the proposed method is a unified topology model and MN principle to show how to derive all possible topologies based on unipolar sinusoidal pulse width modulation (USPWM) and double-frequency USPWM (DFUSPWM). Part II of this paper discusses the topology synthetization method to achieve zero leakage current. Two types of neutral point clamped (NPC) topologies based on USPWM and DFUSPWM are elaborated. Two possible connections for the NPC cell are introduced, and detailed NPC topology derivation procedures are also provided. All existing NPC topologies are derived, and twenty-two new NPC topologies are found based on the new topology derivation methodology for a single-phase, full-bridge, transformerless inverter.

In this paper, a modified Sinusoidal Pulse width Modulation (MSPWM) technique and a modified single-phase H-bridge seven-level inverter is proposed. The switching pulses for the proposed seven-level inverter are generated using a single triangular carrier waveform, a fully rectified sinusoidal signal, and three stepped reference signals (Uref1, Uref2 and Uref3). Using optimization technique, the magnitude of the stepped reference signal is determined so that the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the output voltage waveform is minimum and the fundamental component, RMS value of the voltage is improved for a given modulation index Ma as compared to the Sinusoidal Pulse width Modulation (SPWM). By the implementation of the new scheme, the seven-level of the inverter output voltage level (+Vdc, +2Vdc/3, +Vdc/3, 0, −Vdc, −2Vdc/3, −Vdc) is obtained for any given modulation index. Similarly, if only two stepped reference signals are used then the inverter will act as a five-level inverter for any modulating index ma. The proposed MSPWM and seven-level inverter are simulated on MATLAB/SIMULINK for R, R-L load and on a single-phase capacitor-start and capacitor-start-run Induction Motor.

Single-phase full-bridge transformerless topologies, such as the H5, H6, or the highly efficient and reliable inverter concept (HERIC) topologies, are commonly used for leakage current suppression for photovoltaic (PV) applications. The main derivation methodology of full-bridge topologies has been used based on both a DC-based decoupling model and an AC-based decoupling model. However, this methodology is not suited to the search for all possible topologies, and cannot verify whether they are inclusive. Part I of this paper will propose a new topology derivation methodology based on unipolar sinusoidal pulse width modulation (USPWM) to search all possible full-bridge topologies for leakage current suppression. First of all, a unified circuit model is proposed, instead of the DC- and AC-based models. Secondly, a mathematic method called the MN principle is then proposed to search for all possible topologies, and a derivation procedure is provided. It was verified that all existing topologies could be found using the proposed method; furthermore, seven new topologies were derived. The proposed topology derivation methodology is extended to search topologies under Double-Frequency USPWM (DFUSPWM). Twenty topologies under USPWM and four topologies under DFUSPWM have been derived.

This paper deals with theoretical and practical outlook related to implementation of a Digital signal processor (DSP) based on Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM). For single phase inverter, sine wave is taken as reference signal and saw tooth is taken as carrier signal. It is developed by TMS320F28027 piccolo TM microcontroller with the help of simulink model. TI Texas instrument TMS320 is a blanket name for a series of DSP from Texas instrument. Through the TMS32010 processor which was faster in the DSP market and we use C2000 series microcontroller family with performance integrated peripherals designed for real – time control applications like motor drive control, industrial automation, solar and other renewable energy sources. The voltage source inverter is used in motor speed control and in solar, wind power grids. The system is verified by experimenting in simulation.
