scholarly journals Bioinformatics Database Query Performance and Optimization

Borneo bioinformatics portal test is a critical element of SQA and represents a comprehensive review of specifications, design and coding. The test represents an abnormality in the development of the portal. A series of tests systematically reveals several different types of errors. This study aims to evaluate the performance and optimization of Borneo's Bioinformatics portal with a series test activities using the Web Performance Optimization methodology. Testing query performance with measuring the response time and page loading timings from the object relationship mapping (ORM) model Laravel PHP framework in offline and online. For optimization, we set a pre-test and post-test scenario to evaluate the efficiency performance test results. The results study found that the query relation model, parsing script (javaScript and CSS), service scale and dimension images in the interaction process to the database are the dominant resources affecting the performance of the Bioinformatics portal. Performance optimization through determining the appropriate query relation model, minify and defer parsing script or combine images using CSS sprites to reduce scala image.

The purpose of the research was to investigatethe effect of activity-based games on the academic achievement of graduate-level pupils in social sciences. An experimental research design with a pre-and post-test control group was used in this study. As pre-test and post-test, MCQ achievement tests containing 70 items were used as research methods for data collecting. The initial stage in this initiative was to collect data on what inspires children to learn. Both groups took a pre-test, and the results were tallied. The project's second phase was to study the effects of variousactivities on academic achievement. Both groups were given an MCQ performance test. The T-test was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study demonstrated that, compared to the control group, mostpupils'marks improved in the experimental group. The mean value showedthat experimental group participants scored 18.77on the post-test, while control group students scored 16.21. According to a post-lesson poll, most students regarded activity-based games to be more engaging than lecture-based instruction.

This quasi experimental study aimed at investigating the effect of using Google Docs on EFL Omani college students’ writing performance and students’ perceptions of its use. The sample of the study included 81 Level 3 Foundation Program students in Nizwa College of Technology, Oman. The experimental group consisted of 39 students while the control group consisted of 42 students. The research instruments included a writing performance test that was administered as pre and post- test and a students’ perceptions questionnaire. Data analysis revealed that there was a statistically significant difference between the writing performance of the experimental and control groups in favour of the experimental group. The experimental group outperformed the control group in task achievement, task organization, grammar and vocabulary. Also, the students perceived using Google Docs in EFL writing as a very beneficial tool in improving their writing and collaboration skills. In light of these findings, a number of recommendations for practice are presented.

The performance of web applications is of paramount importance as it can impact end-user experience and the business revenue. Web Performance Optimization (WPO) deals with front-end performance engineering. Web performance would impact customer loyalty, SEO, web search ranking, SEO, site traffic, repeat visitors and overall online revenue. In this paper we have conducted the survey of state of the art tools, techniques, methodologies of various aspects of web performance optimization. We have identified key web performance patterns and proposed novel web performance driven development framework. We have elaborated on various techniques related to different phases of web performance driven development framework.

The explosive growth in data quantity today, massive data query performance is good or bad becomes important. In order to avoid system response time is long, wasted resources from happening. We are actively exploring methods and strategies to make massive data query performance optimization. Massive data query performance optimization is a systematic project, involving many aspects, in which the index plays an important role. This article obtains from the index, based on Oracle, the paper analyzes the structure of B-tree index, the way of data scanning, as well as how to correctly use the index and rely on the index attribute to optimize massive data query performance.

<p>This study is done to determine the effectiveness of Neurofeedback on reducing the symptoms of Hyperactivity and increasing the accuracy and caution in ADHD children. Subjects were 30 ADHD children who were selected by cluster sampling method. Research layout is pre-test, post-test experimental type. Conners parent measure questionnaire and a computer based continuous performance test are the research materials. The results of investigation on post-test average score of Hyperactivity symptoms and accuracy and caution of ADHD children in experimental and witness groups, with controlling of pre-test, has shown a significant difference.</p>
