The implementation of learning media based on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) on chemistry was found to be very low. For this reason, ICT-based chemistry learning media which utilized autoplay application were developed in this research. The validated product of the learning media based by autoplay on chemistry can be implemented as a learning medium to improve students' communicative character. This research was designed by using the Plomp model in the form of Research and Development (R&D). Data of this research were collected by validation sheets, questionnaire responses (teachers and students), and communicative observation sheets with descriptive statistical analyses and independent sample t test. The validity results showed that the average percentage from media expert and material expert judgment were 88.25% and 91.69% with a category of valid. Moreover, the results of the response of teachers and students respectively obtained an average percentage score of 85% and 81% with a category of very interesting. Then, the results of the independent sample t test for 0,000 <0.05 indicated that there were significant differences in the communicative character of students before and after the use of learning media based on autoplay on chemistry with a percentage of 72.25%.

Information and Communication Technology is becoming an essential learning tool for teachers and students in the classroom. The use of Information and Communication Technology scaffolds learning in a pedagogically meaningful way and gives students with learning disabilities more equal opportunities in school. This chapter discusses ways in which Information and Communication Technology benefits students with special educational needs, both academically and socially. Various computer applications create greater possibilities for inclusion by fostering collaborative learning and enhancing peer interaction. New technology also allows students more autonomy in the writing process and helps students develop historical thinking skills.

This research examines digital empowerment in high schools in Indonesia. Based on the reflexivity perspective, digital empowerment is described as the effort to respond to changes in learning systems in digital-based schools. This research was conducted qualitatively through observations and in-depth interviews. The participants of this study included school principals and the teachers of information and communication technology in three Indonesian public senior high schools in different cities, namely Banda Aceh, Padang, and Banjarmasin. The results highlighted the need to understand the context and projections of the teachers' and student's ability and self-access to information and communication technology elements, in which appropriate measures can be formulated in response to the digitisation of the teaching-learning process in the schools. Self-awareness and information and communication technology competence shape digital empowerment efforts in schools based on their respective needs and abilities. As such, the digital-based collaboration of teaching and learning can be construed as a form of contextual digital empowerment, which is applied at the micro-level adapting to dynamic changes in digital competence, especially in teachers and students.

In the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), Indonesia was led to prepare competitive, skilled and expert human resources so that they could compete with other countries. Therefore, the preparation of teaching materials is ideal for optimizing the involvement of students in the learning process of chemistry especially the famous abstract voltaic cell material. The low ability of students to think formally leads to difficulty understanding submicroscopic aspects so that there is the potential for misunderstanding on the topic of this voltaic cell. The purpose of this study is to explain the analysis of the needs in the development of teaching materials on the topic of STEM-PjBL-based voltaic cells assisted with learning videos. This type of research is used descriptive research with open and closed questionnaire techniques. The results of the study found that teachers and students still use conventional teaching materials that have not been integrated with approaches and methods. In addition, these teaching materials have not used information and communication technology that is more in demand by students. Thus it can be seen that overall the development of voltaic cell textbooks based on specific approaches and methods is still needed with integrated information and communication technology.
