Coronal fractures of permanent anterior teeth by trauma are the most frequent type of injury. Many factors are considered in the effort to provide optimal mechanical properties, aesthetic, and longevity. The usage of Post and Core system for management of groosly mutilated tooth has been widely accepted and used. This paper will explain case report of a patient having fractured central incisor which was managed by Root canal treatment followed by bre post and then a PFM crown , which was the minimally invasive treatment in this case.

Coronal fractures of permanent anterior teeth by trauma are the most common type of injury. Many factors are considered in the attempt to provide optimal mechanical properties, aesthetic, and longevity. Discomfort, serious psychological, esthetic, functional, and phonetic problems are related with anterior crown fracture, this may also affect social communications and it poses a challenge for the dentist, to save these teeth. The restoration of traumatically injured teeth with substantial loss of coronal structure necessitates endodontic treatment followed by post insertion into canal space so that foundation restoration can be strengthened to receive the crown. In this case report, such case is described with fiber-reinforced post and core system.

ABSTRACT Crown fractures of the anterior teeth are a common form of dental trauma mainly affecting children and adolescents. One of the options for managing crown fractures is the reattachment of the fractured fragment when the tooth fragment is available with minimal or no violation of the biological width. Reattachment of fractured fragments can provide good esthetics, as it maintains the tooth's original anatomic form, color, and surface texture. It also restores function and is a relatively simple procedure. This case report deals with the esthetic management of a crown-root fracture that was successfully treated with endodontic treatment followed by reattachment of fractured fragment with fiber post. A common type of fracture involving tooth is complicated crown root fracture of anterior teeth. The reattachment of the coronal fragment to the remaining tooth will provide better and long-lasting aesthetics, improved function and a positive psychological reaction. It is a simple and less difficult procedure if the original tooth fragments are retained after fracture. This paper reports about a case of complicated crown root fracture that was treated successfully using broken fragment adhesive reattachment and post placement.

ABSTRACT All of us as clinicians at one time or another have to attend to dental emergencies involving severly fractured or even lost or avulsed anterior teeth. Treating such cases is often difficult and there is always a time factor involved. Loss of anterior teeth can affect a patient psychologically and socially. This can be minimised by an immediate replacement or replantation of the lost or avulsed teeth. Definitive treatment planning and consultation with specialists is seldom possible at the time of emergency treatment. Replantation of the avulsed tooth can restore esthetic appearance and occlusal function shortly after the injury. This article describes the management of a young female with an avulsed maxillary permanent incisor that had been air-dried for about 72 hours. The replanted incisor retained its esthetic appearance and functionality 8 months after replantation, yet the long-term prognosis remains questionable.

Most common form of dental trauma in children are the fractures of crown mainly in anterior teeth. A case of complicated crown fracture treated with Cvek pulpotomy using MTA followed by fragment re-attachment with careful follow-up is presented here. Tooth fragment re-attachment provides feasible conservative alternative approach to restore esthetics and tooth function. Successful outcomes have been shown by the long term follow up of the treatment with the preservation of pulp vitality and continued development of root. Clinical results have also shown good esthetics and functional results of presented technique. SUMMARY Composite resin may make a restoration noticeable as time passes, on account of its color instability. The repair technique is a minimally invasive treatment for class IV composite resin restorations that show unsatisfactory coloration. Thus, the objective of the present article was to report a clinical case involving a conservative technique used for repairing a class IV composite resin restoration in the left maxillary central incisor and the replacement of a class IV restoration in the right maxillary central incisor.

AbstractInjury to anterior teeth is a relatively common event. Dentists regularly deal with management of dental trauma and restoration of fractured teeth. Hence the treatment approach and medicaments that assures the biologically acceptable healing and improve long term success rate are of potential value and should be considered.A big cystic lesion, which is unable to heal non-surgically, heals well with use of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA Angelus) by surgical approach. Results of clinical trials have recommended the use of MTA as the most suitable root end filling material.This article presents the case report of management of big cystic lesion along with the lateral root perforation with maxillary left central incisor. Root canal treatment was followed by the resection of root end of tooth in question at the level of perforation and sealed with MTA. 12 month's follow up radiograph showed completely healed Cystic lesion.

A 15 year old boy was presented with pain in his upper anterior teeth. On clinical examination both the maxillary central incisor revealed slight discoloration and fracture of the crown. Radiographic evaluation revealed open apex of the left central incisor and apex of the right central incisor was fully developed. Apexification with MTA apical plug was carried out in left central incisor and conventional root canal treatment was done in right central incisor. In two months follow up both the tooth were clinically and radiographically asymptomatic and the healing of the apical area of the left central incisor was continued. These finding suggests that MTA can induce formation of apical barrier in the case of non-vital tooth with open apex. Update Dent. Coll. j: 2019; 9 (1): 42-45

AbstractTraumatic injuries to maxillary anterior teeth while playing are common in children and adolescents. Sequelae of such trauma include broken, lost, aspirated, and swallowed tooth. At times, the broken tooth fragments get embedded in the adjoining soft tissue and frequently get neglected during diagnosis. The present case report discusses the case of a 13-year-old adolescent who had broken tooth fragment emerged in the lower lip and its surgical excision to prevent detrimental reactions and scarring.
