The selection of technological bases is considered before the choice of the type of billet and the development of the route of the technological process. A technique is proposed for selecting the minimum number of sets of technological bases according to the criterion of equality in the cost price of manufacturing the part according to the principle of unity and combination of bases at this stage. This paper deals with the optimization of vibrating structures as a mean for minimizing unwanted vibration. Presented in this work is a method for automatic determination of a set of preselected design parameters affecting the geometrical layout or shape of the structure. The parameters are selected to minimize the dynamic response to external forcing or base motion. The presented method adjusts the structural parameters by solving an optimization problem in which the constraints are dictated by engineering considerations. Several constraints are defined so that the static deflection, the stress levels and the total weight of the structure are kept within bounds. The dynamic loading acting upon the structure is described in this work by its power spectral density, with this representation the structure can be tailored to specific operating conditions. The uncertain nature of the excitation is overcome by combining all possible spectra into one PSD encompassing all possible loading patterns. An important feature of the presented method is its numerical efficiency. This feature is essential for any reasonably sized problem as such problems are usually described by thousands of degrees of freedom arising from a finite-element idealization of the structure. In this paper, efficient, closed form expressions, for the cost function and its gradients are derived. Those are computed with a partial set of eigenvectors and eigenvalues thus increasing the efficiency further. Several numerical examples are presented where both shape optimization and the selection of discrete components are illustrated.

Cognacs of various vintage years produced on one cognac factory are a typical example of such goods. For the indicated kind of the goods the method of the cost price determination of the goods of competitors is worked out and realized. The initial information for determination is the data on the prices of the goods and sales volumes.

Nesse estudo ajustou-se a equação de Hazen-Willians e comparou com a equação de Darcy-Weisbach. O desempenho da equação ajustada foi determinada pelo índice de concordância (c), Erro Padrão Estatístico (EPE) e o Erro Absoluto Médio (EAM). Os resultados mostram que todos os índices usados para verificar o desempenho da equação de Hazen-Willians ajustada melhoraram. That study fitted the Hazen-Williams equation and compared it with the Darcy-Weisbach equation. The performance of the adjusted equation was determined by the concordance index (c), Statistical Standard Error (EPE) and Mean Absolute Error (EAM). The results show that all gridded indices to verify the performance of the adjusted Hazen-Willians equation have improved. Abstract The most suitable wavelength intervals were selected for the determination of 4 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs; benzo[g,h,i]perylene, dibenzo[a,h]anthracene, pyrene, and triphenylene) in very complex mixtures of 11 PAHs: anthracene, benz[a]anthracene, benzo[a]pyrene, benzo[b]fluoranthene, benzo[g,h,i]perylene, benzo[k]fluoranthene, chrysene, dibenz[a,h]anthracene, phenanthrene, pyrene, and triphenylene. The multiple linear regression algorithm was applied to measurements made in several wavelength intervals previously selected on the basis of sensitivity and minimum number of interfering compounds. Of the different models obtained, those displaying minimum error propagation in the analytical result were selected. By applying the models proposed in this study, we precisely and accurately determined benzo[g,h,i]perylene, dibenz[a,h]anthracene, pyrene, and triphenylene in complex mixtures—a feat that could not be achieved by the use of constant-wavelength spectrofluorimetry in combination with second-derivative techniques.

The determination of an industrial location is determined by three factors, namely; first, the cost of transport. Second, labor, and third, deglomeration. Variations of the motive, having the same estuary is the achievement of a profitable business destination for the producers. A more comprehensive understanding, that the selection of industrial sites is determined by several factors, among others: first, endowment factors or known as natural resources and energy contained on the surface of the earth and contained therein. Second, the human resource factor. This factor becomes an option for producers by measuring the level of availability of large manpower and skill levels. Third, the capital factor, both physical and non-physical. Fourth, market and price factors. Fifth, agglomeration factor. This factor indicates the situation of centralizing economic activities in certain locations, particularly the center of agglomeration placed at one of the points with the lowest transportation costs. Sixth, the factor of government policy. The choice of location because of this factor became an alternative for producers to maintain and develop their industry although initially it was not profitable, but because of the motive of existence and protection of its industry, the economic consideration was temporarily suspended.

The results of research on the ecological and economic justification of the choice of technologies for the reclamation of oil-contaminated land are proposed. Economic and environmental criteria for the selection of technologies for the treatment of land contaminated with petroleum products are proposed. The algorithm of implementation of the project of recultivation of the lands polluted by oil is considered, which includes an assessment of environmental damage, compensation of losses to landowners, determination of the cost of work on recultivation of the polluted lands, justification of technology and assessment of efficiency of its application. Based on a comparative assessment of the use of various technologies for cleaning up oil-contaminated land according to the proposed criteria, the economic feasibility of using biotechnologies are shown on the example of the elimination of an emergency oil spill in the Niger Delta.

Abstract A new structure named covering type for the semi-hollow Al-profiles was present. through a common actual case, the determination of structure parameters was introduced in detail. Mainly including the arrangement of portholes, the structure design of chamber and the selection of bearing. The method of checking the die strength was introduced. According to the extrusion results, the structure of the traditional solid die and the covering type structure were compared. The characteristics of the latter structure were simple and easy to process. The practical application shows that the new die structure can enhance the die life, improve the production efficiency and reduce the cost. The high precision and the surface brightness of the profiles were obtained. The structure is worth promoting. The aim is to provide reliable data and reference for the further research and development on the structure for semi-hollow Al-profiles.
