This study aims to determine the development of mathematics education in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive method, by presenting a description, clarification of a phenomenon and facts in mathematics. As well as library research (library research). By collecting several books, articles and opinions from experts regarding the development of mathematics and mathematics education which are then developed with various existing findings. The results showed that the development of mathematics was based on philosophy, because philosophy is the root of all human knowledge, both scientific knowledge and non-scientific knowledge. The historical development of mathematics, Babiliona mathematics refers to all mathematics developed by the Mesopotamians since the beginning of Hellenism. At that time the development of mathematics expanded to several countries such as Egypt, Greece, Arabia and India. The development of Mathematics Education in Indonesia is never separated from the history of the curriculum. The importance of mathematics in life is not surprising if mathematics learning has developed and adapted to the needs of the times. The development of mathematics learning in Indonesia is as traditional mathematics, modern mathematics, and modern mathematics.

The aim of this study is to introduce Muḥammad ibn Mûsâ al-Khwârizmî and his works in terms of history of mathematics and mathematics education. Muḥammad ibn Musa al-Khwârizmî an Iraqi Muslim scholar and it is the first of the Muslim mathematicians who have contributed to this field by taking an important role in the progress of mathematics in his own period. He found the concept of Algorithm in mathematics. In some circles, he was given the nickname Abu Ilmi’l-Hâsûb (the father of the account). He carried out important studies in algebra, triangle, astronomy, geography and map drawing. Algebra has carried out systematic and logical studies on the solution of inequalities at second level in the development of the algebra. He with all these studies have contributed to mathematical science and today was a guide to the works done in the field of mathematics.

Ethnomathematics at the sumur purbakala Kaliwadas Village of Cirebon and relationship with mathematics learning in school AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the mathematical aspects of sumur purbakala, its history, the process of mathematical thinking in the making of well, and the process of learning mathematics in school. The results of this research are presented in qualitative form to describe the history of the sumur purbakala. The shape of the building is constructed like a triangle, a pentagon, a rectangle, a parallelogram, a trapezoid, a circle, and a space-building like beams and tubes, which are the mathematical aspects of the material geometry. The process of making a well in the form of a circle can be done with the n-segments approximated by the boundary n to the not until seen from the number of bricks in the first order and the number of arrangements on the well-making. The results of this study are also related to the process of learning mathematics in schools, such as triangle and quadrilateral materials in junior high and the rules of sinus and cosine in high school. It is expected that the results of this study can be used as teaching materials at the level of the school and references to other research in the field of culture and mathematics.

This research focuses on the act of abortion among Black People in the United States based on history, the society environment, and two big major issues regarding the abortion act such as Roe vs Wade, and Pro Choice - Pro Life. Black people become the central point on this research because the fact shows that the largest population which do the abortion act and mostly considered as Black American in the first plce and the second one is from Hispanic American rather  than any other minority groups or even the White American itself and this happened  based on the history of racial discrimination or segregation toward BlackPeople. This research uses library research in term of qualitative method, and applying  descriptive method in analyzing the data. The approaches which are used in this research are the approaches which have a great related with the society and social problem. This approaches well known with the term of interdispliner study which have main purpose to elaborate many perspectives to become primarysources. The different treatment toward Black People based on racial discrimination experienced becomes the trigger why do Black People placed the highest number in doing abortion act in the UnitedStates.

We argue about a ponderous use of biographies instead of an ornamental, that is, of a historical approach that involves a deepening of concepts and not only of trivial themes. We will present a methodology that has a deep relation with the historical development of mathematical ideas and the history of mathematical education. Acting in this sense, we aim to propose the use of biographies of mathematical educators, mathematicians and scientists as a deepening resource in disciplines of undergraduate courses, specifically in our case, History of Mathematics, General Philosophy, Trends in Mathematics Education, General Didactics and Afro-Brazilian History and Culture. We will trace a brief trajectory of the use of biographies as methodology in History, Science and Mathematics, trying to understand how the historicity of scientific knowledge is important in the elaboration of this type of work. Looking for parallels, we understand that the development of mathematics is not independent of the cultural environment in which it is inserted, and it is important to look at the historical context of the formation of ideas. We use this methodological concept in the course of Mathematics Degree of the UTFPR campus Toledo, in the disciplines of History of Mathematics, General Philosophy and History and Afro-Brazilian Culture (this optional), whose working methodology will be explained in this text. Finally, we highlight the potential use of the use of biographies of renowned mathematical educators to be worked in disciplines in which the “knowledge to teach” prevails. Keywords: History of Mathematics Education. This study aims to analyze students' strategies in translating English-Indonesian mathematics texts. The study was conducted on students of the Mathematics Education study program in the English for Teaching Mathematics course. The research method is a qualitative descriptive method with data analysis units of text translation as many as 31 students. The translation strategy uses 2 stages, namely the comprehension strategies, referring to the analysis of the source text, and the production strategies, referring to the production of the translated text. The results of the study reveal that in general students have been able to carry out comprehension strategies well as evidenced by their good understanding of mathematics and mathematics learning vocabulary, while the production strategy stage is still lacking, i.e the results of the production of a full sentence translation text in paragraph form involving mathematical vocabulary still too 'stiff'. The conclusion of this study is that the factors of experience and student habituation in reading mathematics texts in English have an effect on the ability in understanding strategies and production strategies.

Ukrainian Religious Studies - Ancient and at the same time relatively young branch of humanitarian knowledge. Ancient because it has its roots yet Kievan Rus. It is then that there are written works in which religious processes are described in certain religious denominations in the ancient Ukrainian lands. Thus, in the "Tale of the Times of the Years", the process of the introduction of Christianity in Rus'-Ukraine is described, the historical, psychological and ideological foundations of choice are revealed. Volodymyr the Great faith for his people. Young because it does not have its deep professional tradition and, as a separate sphere of scientific knowledge, begins to develop only in the second half of the nineteenth century in the creative work of the ideologists of the communal movement and is primarily associated with the names of M. Drahomanov and O. Pobetny. To this religious studies we developed mainly in its theological form, not at the level of professional employment, but as an addition to the study of other problems of social or spiritual life, the study of the history of Ukraine.
