AbstractThis research aimed at knowing positive relationship between family functioning with self-regulated learning of Pangudi Luhur Van Lith Muntilan Senior High School students. This research was conducted on 80 students by using random sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Measuring instrument used for family functioning is The McMaster Model of Family Functioning with alpha cronbach’s coefficient is 0,927 and self-regulated scale with alpha cronbach’s coefficient is 0,899. From the data analysis obtained the result of coefficient correlation is 0,366 with the significance amount 0,000 (p < 0,05), so it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between family functioning and self-regulated learning of Pangudi Luhur Van Lith Muntilan Senior High School students, so the hypothesis pruposed in this study is accepted. Studying complex and abstract plant anatomy, the use of isomorphism diagram is one way to help students to understand the concepts. When studying diagram, students surely involve complex cognitive activities. One of The students’ successes in understanding the various concepts contained in the diagram, can be determined by cognitive activities that occur in working memory. This research is a descriptive study which includes 10 senior high school students in Bandung. The research aims to analyze the relation between cognitive activities and students’ comprehension towards spatial isomorphism diagrams of plant anatomy. The students are asked to analyze the spatial isomorphism diagrams of plant anatomical structures. Then, the students will be given questions to measure the level of comprehension after learning spatial isomorphism diagrams. The result shows that there are five kinds of cognitive activities when students study spatial isomorphism diagram. Those are activating prior knowledge, identifying images, comparing images, interpreting symbols, and drawing conclusion. Hence, there are several students who have low abilities, they only have two kinds of cognitive activities. This is in accordance with the level of students’ understanding of plant anatomy in the medium to low categories. The result shows that the type of cognitive activities that students have contributes the students’ conprehension of plant anatomy.

This research was conducted to investigate the impact of digital storytelling towards senior high school students’ speaking ability in various text genres, and analyze in what extend it works effectively. The researchers used an action research and random sampling technique. The steps in this design are Planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The sample of this research was 34 students of tenth grade science 4. The researchers defined there was difference between Cycle 1 (before giving treatment) and Cycle 2 (after giving treatment). In Cycle 1, only 15 students (44,11 %) could pass standard minimum criteria (KKM) with the upper value 75. On the other hand, Cycle 2 showed 27 students could achieve KKM. Futhermore, this method assisted teacher in comperending material, generated students’ critical thinking, creativities, and confidence not only in education field but also technology field. Overall, this research reveals there are significant influences of digital storytelling method towards senior high school students’ speaking ability in various text genres.

Consumptive behavior is the tendency to buy goods or services without rational consideration. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and reference groups toward consumptive behavior across senior high school students. The study used a cross-sectional design and the research location was selected purposively based on the distance of the school from the shopping center area. Using the self-administered questionnaire, the study involved 125 students of public high school (SMAN) at Bogor City, that is SMAN 3 and SMAN 9. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics. The study showed that the level of financial literacy was in the medium category, while the reference group and the level of consumptive behavior were in a low category. Moreover, results indicated a relationship between the characteristics of adolescents, financial literacy, reference groups, and consumptive behavior. The regression test found a significant negative effect of financial behavior toward consumptive behavior. Females were more likely to be more consumptive, while reference groups positively influenced the consumptive behavior of senior high school students.

Based on the  preliminary  study, it’s known that cheating behaviour is major problem for the education sector. The aim of this research is examine the correlation between moral reasoning and cheating behaviour of senior high school students. Current research is quantitative research with correlational method. 282 samples were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Moral reasoning variable were measured using psychological scale based on the level of moral reasoning according to Kohlberg’s theory and cheating behaviour variable were measured using psychological scale based on cheating behaviour indicators. Data were analysed using Product Moment correlation technique. After analysing the data, the results revealed there is significant negative relationship between moral reasoning and cheating behaviour (r=-.265, p.05) among senior high school students indicating when moral reasoning is high then cheating behaviour is low, and vice versa. It is expected that the continuation of this research can find interventions to reduce cheating behaviour.

Asynchronous e-learning is receiving growing attention because it encompasses learner-oriented approach which emphasizes on the development of learners' knowledge and skills. Henceforth it is imperative to explore students’ experience on asynchronous e-learning. This study aims to delineate the experience of senior high school students in learning English through asynchronous e-learning. This is a qualitative descriptive study in nature and the data collected were analysed using thematic analysis by incorporating interpretive description approach. The participants of study were senior high school students from Lemahwungkuk sub-district, Cirebon, Indonesia. The results revealed that in undergoing asynchronous e-learning, the participants have to implement self-access learning and additionally they have to adapt with technology setting which may appear to be challenging due to limited technical support they have; moreover they still have to discover the knowledge by themselves inasmuch as they experience limited interaction with their English teachers throughout the process of learning.

The method used is quantitative. Afterward, the population of the research is thetenth grades of senior high school students inBekasi. The number of populations itself are488 students. Then, the sample is taken by random sampling using Slovin with 10% of error margin, thus the number obtained are 83 students. The data analyses used is correlation analyses, and multiple linear regression analyses. In determining the hypothesis, T and F test are used with 5 % alpha.  Hence, the results shows that there is no significant effectof reading interests towards senior high school students’ problem solving ability in Bekasi, meanwhile there is significant effect of communication skill and adversity quotient towards senior high school students’ problem solving ability in Bekasi.

Abstract On the topic of work and energy, students learned the concepts of work and energy, the relationship between work and energy changes, the law of conservation energy, power, and its application in daily-life. This research aimed to identify and evaluate the achievement of physics problem-solving skills of senior high school students on work and energy topics in distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The quantitative method used was preexperiment with a one-shot case study design. The subjects were determined using the cluster sampling technique. The sample was 246 students of tenth-grade from three schools, namely in the city, middle, and suburb location in Tuban East Java Indonesia. The research results were analyzed by using descriptive quantitative. This research instrument used essay questions and teacher questionnaires. The Kruskal Wallis test showed that the mean of three schools differed significantly by 0.002<0.05. The overall students’ physics problem-solving skills on the topic of work and energy are classified as moderate. The fact of these findings suggests that students still have difficulty in useful description, physics approach, specific application of physics, mathematical procedures, and logical progression and consistent reasons. It is necessary to develop teaching materials that can train physics problem-solving skills.
