This study aims to determine the effect of HOTS-oriented blended learning student worksheets on students' cognitive learning outcomes on work and energy materials for class X MIPA at SMAN 1 Gadingrejo in the 2020/2021 academic year. The research design used is a quasi-experimental form of nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was class X MIPA 5 (experimental class) and class X MIPA 4 (control class). The experimental class was treated using HOTS-oriented blended learning worksheets, while the control class was treated using the HOTS-oriented student worksheets. The test instrument used is in the form of a description of 5 questions. Based on the research results that have been done, the average N-Gain in the experimental class is 0.46 in the medium category. In the control class, the average N-Gain is 0.34 in the medium category. The results of the independent sample t-test showed that the significant value of 0.05 was 0.002. It shows an effect of using HOTS-oriented blended learning student worksheets on students' cognitive learning outcomes on work and energy materials.

Abstract On the topic of work and energy, students learned the concepts of work and energy, the relationship between work and energy changes, the law of conservation energy, power, and its application in daily-life. This research aimed to identify and evaluate the achievement of physics problem-solving skills of senior high school students on work and energy topics in distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The quantitative method used was preexperiment with a one-shot case study design. The subjects were determined using the cluster sampling technique. The sample was 246 students of tenth-grade from three schools, namely in the city, middle, and suburb location in Tuban East Java Indonesia. The research results were analyzed by using descriptive quantitative. This research instrument used essay questions and teacher questionnaires. The Kruskal Wallis test showed that the mean of three schools differed significantly by 0.002<0.05. The overall students’ physics problem-solving skills on the topic of work and energy are classified as moderate. The fact of these findings suggests that students still have difficulty in useful description, physics approach, specific application of physics, mathematical procedures, and logical progression and consistent reasons. It is necessary to develop teaching materials that can train physics problem-solving skills.

This study aims to determine the difference in learning outcomes in work and energy from students who learned using inquiry training model with merry-go-round techniques. This study was designed using a quasi-experimental design with 74 students as samples. The instrument developed was 21 questions about work and energy. The results show that the experimental class has the highest value of 85.27 compared to the control class with 77.56. The test results of the physics learning outcomes hypothesis were tcount (3,295) >ttable (1,666), indicating that there were differences in physics learning outcomes of students who studied using the inquiry training model with the merry-go-round technique than students who studied conventionally.

The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia impacts the field of education. The learning process is usually carried out face-to-face has turned into online learning. This study aims to see the effectiveness of online learning based on the learning process, the achievement of learning objectives, and the obstacles experienced by students and teachers when doing online learning at SMA Negeri 2 Ponorogo during the Covid-19 pandemic. The quantitative descriptive method was used in this research. The online survey was used by using a questionnaire instrument through Google Form and cognitive tests. The results showed that online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic often used the WhatsApp platform and school e-learning websites. Respondents were interested in taking physics lessons during the pandemic online because respondents used many learnings. Based on the cognitive test results, the mean value of the respondents was <60 and did not meet the graduation criteria. The result shows that the respondents do not understand the materialof work and energy.. The obstacles experienced by respondents were difficulty understanding the material and questions in the form of statements on work and energy materials and limited quotas and internet networks. Based on the questionnaire, it was found that the effectiveness of online learning was 57%. It can be concluded that online-based physics learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 2 Ponorogo on adequate energy and business materials was carried out as a substitute for face-to-face learning.

One of the learning resources chosen to solve problems related to the low critical thinking ability and students' independence is modules. This research aims to reveal the effectiveness of an integrated physics learning e-module with Pancasila character values in work and energy subjects to improve students' critical thinking ability and independence. This research used a pre-experimental design with a pretest-post-test control group design. This design involved a total of 70 students from class X MIPA at SMA N 1 Kasihan with an average age of 15-16 years old. These research subjects were selected using a cluster sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were used to test techniques, namely the critical thinking ability test and questionnaire techniques. The data collection instrument used a test instrument for essential thinking ability and student independence questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was the n-gain analysis, Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) test, and effect size analysis by calculating the value of Cohen's f. This research indicates that the integrated physics learning e-module with Pancasila character values in work and energy subjects effectively improves students' critical thinking ability and independence.
