The purpose of this study is to describe the application of learning media based on m-learningg using the POE2WE blender model to increase student learning motivation. This writing is motivated by increased learning in students who need good learning media and still use learning materials that have not been maximized. The method used in this renewal is the study of literature by studying some literature to be analyzed and made conclusions. The results of discussions about the application of m-learning based learning media using the POE2WE blender model can be a solution to the problems encountered in the teaching and learning process sponsored by students. The mixed POE2WE model is applied to students in High School with several steps including; participants do learning using smartphones, at face-to-face meetings students learn to use learning with teachers, in independent learning students do distance learning so as to increase their own willingness to do learning. The results of this study prove that learning media based on m-learning is feasible by using the POE2WE model to increase students' learning motivation and be able to take advantage of current technological advances.

Project-based learning (PBL) has gained popularity in education recently. This teaching method provides opportunities for students to learn independently by doing group works in the form of a project. It is seen as a suitable method to teach EFL to replace the traditional ways of teaching. Thus, this case study explores the students' and teachers' experience implementing PBL in the EFL class. Three EFL classes from three different high schools in Indonesia were observed to explore this issue. Six students and three teachers were interviewed to confirm the observation’s result and determine their perception of learning using PBL. The findings show that the class situation improved positively after implementing PBL. Furthermore, PBL was well perceived by both students and teachers. The teaching and learning process went smoothly and well-controlled. The students and teachers show positive perceptions toward PBL in EFL classes. However, some negative points of PBL were also pointed out. Thus, educational sectors may use this study's results to improve the educational quality, specifically for EFL classes.

The purpose of the study was to examine the experiences of current high school students and teachers in Ontario regarding their experiences with personal financial curriculum and teaching at the secondary level, and to identify the ways in which this important educational experience may have helped prepare students to become financially literate. We considered this overarching issue using a transdisciplinary lens from the perspective of the three stakeholder groups. Using a case study research design, the first of its kind in Ontario or Canada on this topic, We utilized interviews and artifacts to uncover student and teacher experiential data across three high schools in southeastern Ontario. The major findings were that current students and teachers perceived curriculum and teaching experiences as seriously lacking in effectively preparing them to be financially literate, and that a fundamental reorientation around transdisciplinary, student-led learning was key to transforming such learning into a more meaningful and valuable educational experience. With mandatory, properly supported, student-oriented (transdisciplinary) instruction, the potential exists for more effective and valuable learning, resulting in better equipped high school students who were properly prepared to successfully navigate financial issues and the path ahead.

In the Indonesian educational system, learner autonomy has been demanded to be promoted in the teaching and learning process of recent curriculum implementation. Unfortunately, it cannot be denied that learner autonomy still poses a challenge to be implemented in Indonesia since the teacher-centered learning is still dominant. Therefore, it is essential to explore both teacher’s and students’ perception of learner autonomy in one study. By employing a case study, this study used the interview, observation and questionnaire as the principal data collection methods to see in-depth the teacher’s and students’ perception of learner autonomy. An English teacher and thirty-six students from twelve grade of one senior high school in Indonesia were involved in eliciting their perceptions on learner autonomy and how the teacher’s efforts in promoting learner autonomy in the 2013 Curriculum . The findings showed that the teacher understood the basic features of learner autonomy as learners’ independent learning activity outside the classroom. This study also underlined that the teacher had had the initiative to promote learner autonomy in the 2013 Curriculum implementation by making some efforts. However, the teacher has not yet provided the learning process with a wide variety of authentic materials. It was found that the learners’ attitude toward those three perspectives on learner autonomy did not indicate the students to be autonomous learners because they were still accustomed to the teacher-centered learning environment.

Recently, game-based multimedia development has been increasing rapidly. Game-based multimedia is not only used for entertaining but also for teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, for the majority of elementary school students, numeracy learning is still considered as a difficult subject to be learned and has not attracted students’ interest because it still uses vertical methods. The objective of this research is to examine the implementation of game-based multimedia in learning horizontal numeracy. In this game-based multimedia, horizontal numeracy material is presented in the form of a game. Horizontal numeracy material begins with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Game-based multimedia is implemented to 20 students in grade 3 elementary schools in Bandung, Indonesia. Subsequently, the way students learn the materials and their learning outcomes are explored after using this multimedia. The results show that the students can learn horizontal numeracy excitingly; moreover, they can easily understand the concept of horizontal numeracy quickly. It is indicated by by the increasing of average post-test value.

This article discusses the importance of vision and mission of the Islamic Education Lecturers (IELs) in teaching and learning (TnL). This study was fully conducted through qualitative method via case study. Six IELs were selected as participants and willing to be interviewed, and the data from the interview were supported by three Heads of Islamic Education Unit, 12 lecturers and 12 students. The data were triangulated with the data obtained through observation and document analysis. The data were analysed through N’Vivo software to generate a pattern of themes and characteristics of the vision and mission in TnL. The result found that there were six elements of vision and mission emphasized by the IELs in TnL. Five of them had formed a pattern. That five elements were; students receiving and appreciating, TnL objective achieved, spreading da’wah, moulding students attidtude and thinking, and achieving success in the world and the hereafter. Therefore, a model which is named as Model of the Vision and Mission Practice for the Excellent Islamic Education Lecturers was deloped. A conducive learning situation is essential in learning English. However, one problem that usually disturbs the learning situation is the appearance of disruptive behavior. Students' disruptive behavior is an inappropriate behavior conducted by students during the learning process which turns the classroom into unconducive. Exactly, there are several factors contribute to the occurrence of disruptive behavior in the English lesson, especially on senior high school students. Thus, the current study was a case study aimed to investigate several causes of students' disruptive behavior in English teaching-learning process in the classroom. The subjects of this study consisted of an English teacher and a class of twelfth-grade students in a small town in Indonesia. The data were collected using observation and interview. The result of this study showed that students' disruptive behavior in the English classroom was caused by internal factor and external factor. Feeling boredom, feeling anxiety, and seeking attention were internal factor that became the occurrence of disruptive behavior.
