Kata kunci:lokalitas, kebudayaan, sosiologi sastra AbstractTheme of locality was packaged very nicely led Felix K. Nesi to win in the 2018 DKJ annual contest. The purpose of this study was to examine the dynamics of locality of the NTT. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a sociological approach to literature. The data source of this research is the novel Orang-Orang Oetimu by Felix K. Nesi. Research data form of words, phrases, or sentences that indicate of locality. The results of this study are first there are six elements of locality narrated in the novel. These six elements include language locality, religious locality, knowledge system locality, economic system locality, artistic locality, and technological system locality. Second,) most of these elements locality is developing. Development are two sides of the blade, where one side impact positive and the other negative impact. Third, development of these cultures can’t be separated from the globalization developed 4 dimension global culture as ideoscape, ethnoscape, mediascape, and technoscape. Keywords: locality, culture, sociology of literature

In learning activity processes in Islamic boarding schools, students must study and live in a dormitory. It functions to replace a residential home where the privacy aspect should be taken into consideration. This study aims to observe the privacy aspects closely related to the female students' bedrooms, covering six elements examined in five case studies, including the sex-segregated dormitories, the main function of staying, visual privacy on the dimensions height of the windows, acoustic privacy, and olfactory privacy in terms of the connection between dormitory rooms. It was found that the privacy aspect in the dormitory room still lacked attention due to the addition of space functions and bathroom facilities in it. Meanwhile, adding personal facilities, such as storage and study areas, could enhance the students' privacy. Especially for the type of student bedroom, it is necessary to provide a place for drying clothes by utilizing the balcony area. Besides that, it is required to pay attention to the type, dimensions direction of window openings so that the level of privacy of female students will be more optimal.

This study aims to describe the meaning of non-compliance with taxes, especially for taxpayers of small and medium enterprises. The background of this research is that there is a phenomenon that is not all taxpayers' fulfill their tax obligations in accordance with the provisions of tax regulations. Resistance that occurs in carrying out tax obligations depends on how tax interpreters interpret non-compliance. This study used a qualitative approach with the Schutz interpretive phenomenology as a research method. The phenomenology method focuses on the object of exploration to gain knowledge. Data was obtained through interviews with small business taxpayers. This study found the motives of taxpayers in carrying out their tax obligations. Which consisted of six elements, namely:  situations those were dilematic, opportunistic, distrust, injustice, not willing, and saving yourself. The motive must be found first, because based on Schutz's interpretive phenomenology method, someone will interpret something depending on the motive in interpreting something. From the motives that have been known, it can be concluded that in order to carry out their tax obligations, taxpayers need trust, both for the government, and for God.

The paper describes the X-ray attenuation in materials according to their atomic number, using six different materials from low atomic number to higher atomic number, Iron (Fe-26) as low atomic number, silver (Ag-47), tin (Sn-50), platinum (Pt-78), gold (Au-79) and lead (Pb-82) as high atomic number. Using the data were taken from the NIST Standard Reference Database 126. From the J. H. Hubbell and S. M. Seltzer work, a table of contents was used. Whereas The mass attenuation coefficient for the above six elements was taken and compared with each other.

The project of the Yagi-Uda antenna was optimized using the Gauss-Newton method. The optimization consisted of specifying value interval for directivity, front-to-back ratio and beamwidth and, starting from a pre-defined initial model, the best values for the length and spacing of the elements were determined. For the direct modeling, the method of moments on the integral Pocklington equation was used, which consisted of obtaining the values of directivity, front-to-back ratio and beamwidth from the length and spacing between known elements. The procedure was applied to the synthesis of Yagi-Uda antennas with five and six elements and the results were found to be as good as those obtained in the literature using other optimization methods.

This research is aimed to identify and to reveal a hikayat as classic travel literature of Indonesia by the travel writing theory of Carl Thompson. To gain those purposes, this research used literary criticism and descriptive-analytic methods. The object of this study is Kisah Pelayaran Abdullah ke Mekah by Abdullah bin Abdul Kadir Munsyi  (1854), focusing on the six elements of travel writing by Carl Thompson’s approach based on the hikayat. This study shows that the hikayat contains six elements of travel writing. Those are self, other, movement, space, encounter, and writing. Abdullah as a sailor puts himself in his hikayat as the main character by using “sahaya” and “aku” to articulate “self” in his hikayat. The “self” during travel met new and foreign things that the author had never seen before. He drew and expressed his point of view, feeling, and observation of all the encounters that he had met during sailing in to hikayat. Keywords: Carl Thompson, hikayat, travel writing

Context: A single, widely accepted definition of sport specialization does not exist. A consensus definition is necessary to guide youth sport stakeholders on issues associated with sport specialization. Objective: The aim of this study was to develop a consensus definition of youth sport specialization and to identify elements that support the construct of specialization. Design: Delphi Study Setting: Directed Surveys Patients or Other Participants: A consensus panel of 17 experts was created to provide a broad multidisciplinary perspective on sport specialization in youth athletes. Data Collection and Analysis: The final definition was developed per an iterative process that involved four rounds of review. A comprehensive review of literature and expert input supported our initial proposed umbrella definition that included six additional elements. The study team reviewed the results after each round and changes were made to the definition based on panel feedback. Main Outcome Measure(s): Panel members were provided with the definition and six elements and then asked to rate each specific to importance, relevance, and clarity using a 4-point Likert scale. Results: In four Delphi consensus rounds, 17 experts reviewed the umbrella definition and six elements before consensus was reached. The umbrella definition and three of the initial six elements achieved >80% agreement for importance, relevance, and clarity after the fourth round of review. The remaining 3 components did not reach >80% agreement even after iterative edits and were removed. The process resulted in a final consensus definition: Sport specialization is intentional and focused participation in a single sport for a majority of the year that restricts opportunities for engagement in other sports and activities. Conclusions: A consensus-based conceptual definition for sport specialization has been developed using a Delphi method. This definition has important implications for clinicians and sports medicine professionals who support youth athletes.

Abstract In this study, I explore a new model of narrative that contains interactions between three levels of story – narrative story, cognitive story, and social story. With this new model, narrative is no longer a static form but rather a whole signifying process among levels. I term this new model narrative-semiosis. The narrative-semiosis model in this study is closely related to the six elements of Jakobson’s communication model. In my new model, cognitive story exists in the minds of both the addresser and addressee, and social story exists in the context where human beings think and perform in the real world. Cognitive story is inferred from the message that is in a narrative story. In this paper, I describe the semiotic interactions among the three levels of stories, not unidirectional but bidirectional, in my narrative-semiosis model. I also validate my model by applying it to a traditional Korean shaman epic Danggumagi and a painting text, Sun and Moon, describing their semiotic narrative signification.
