This study is aimed at collecting empirical evidence about the influence of profitability, and good corporate governance w h i c h consisted of the board size, the independent commisioners, audit committee size and audit quality on the audit delay.The populations of this research are manufacturing companies of consumer goods industry sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the year of 2015-2016 which includes 56 companies, using purposive sampling technique. Methods of data analysis used in this research are descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regressions.The results indicate that profitability, good corporate governance and audit quality have a simultaneously significant effect on the audit delay. However, partial test results show that the profitability and the size of audit committee are not affecting on the audit delay. Meanwhile, the board size, independent commissioners and audit quality have a significant effect on the audit delay

This study aimed to get empirical evidence about the influence of good corporate governance consists of the proportion of institution ownership, board size, the proportion of independent commisioners, audit committee size and audit quality on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility with leverage as control variables.Population of this research are manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 the annual report contains disclosure of corporate social responsibility activities of companies which some 59 companies using purposive sampling technique. Methods of data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression.These results indicate that good corporate governance and audit quality has a significant effect simultaneously on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility of the company. However, partial test results showed that the proportion of institutional ownership, board size, the size of the audit committee and audit quality is not affected by the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. While the proportion of independent commisioners have a negative significant effect on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility.

ABSTRACT This reseach amied at knowing the influence of audit quality, propotion of independent commissioner, audit committe, firm size, managerial ownership and leverage. It used purposive sampling technique or choosing samples based on certain criteria. The sample of this research was 25 companies of banking industry in indonesia stock exchange period 2008-2012. Descriptive analysis, classical test, as well as multiple linear regression by examining the hypothesis using SPSS 20.0 were used to analyzed the data. The result shows that (1) all independent variables simultaneously hasinfluence on earnings management; (2) however partially audit committee, audit quality, managerial ownership and leverage do not affect significantly to earnings management; (3) only firm size and independent commissioner that affect significantly to earning management. This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance (GCG) proxied through the proportion of independent board of commissioners, the size of the board of commissioners, the number of board meetings, and the size of the audit committee to the environmental disclosure. This research is causality. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange and included in PROPER 2012 until 2016. The sample in this study is determined based on purposive sampling and produce a sample of 10 sample companies. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.The results of multiple regression tests indicate that corporate governance (GCG) proxied through the proportion of independent commissioners, board size, number of board meetings, and the size of the audit committee, simultaneously affect the environmental disclosure. The independent variables influenced 61.4% of the dependent variable, while the rest influenced by other factors outside the study. Partially, the proportion of independent commissioners influences the environmental disclosure. The size of the board of commissioners has no effect on the disclosure of the environment. The number of board of commissioners meeting the effect on the disclosure of the environment. The size of the audit committee did not affect the disclosure of the environment.Keywords: Corporate Governance (GCG), proportion of independent commissioners, board size, number of board of commissioners meeting, audit committee size, environmental disclosure. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh good corporate governance (GCG) yang diproksikan melalui proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran dewan komisaris, jumlah rapat dewan komisaris, dan ukuran komite audit terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bersifat kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI dan termasuk dalam PROPER tahun 2012 sampai dengan 2016. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan berdasarkan purposive sampling dan menghasilkan sampel sebanyak 10 perusahaan sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil pengujian regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa, good corporate governance (GCG) yang diproksikan melalui proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran dewan komisaris, jumlah rapat dewan komisaris, dan ukuran komite audit. Variabel independen berpengaruh sebesar 61.4% terhadap variabel dependen, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar penelitian. Secara parsial, proporsi komisaris independen berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Ukuran dewan komisaris tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Jumlah rapat dewan komisaris berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Ukuran komite audit tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Kata kunci: Good Corporate Governance(GCG), proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran dewan komisaris, jumlah rapat dewan komisaris, ukuran komite audit

The objective of this research was to prove empirically the factors affecting the good corporate governance and the return on assets onthe tax avoidance of the manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2014-2016. The independent variables of this research werethe institutional ownership, the managerial ownership, the proportion of independent board of Commissioners, the audit committee, the audit quality, the return on assets; while, the dependent variable of this research wasthe tax avoidance. The data collectingtechnique used in this research was the purposive sampling. The number of sample used in this research was 57 manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016. The data analysis technique used in this research was the multiple linear regressionby using IBM SPSS Version 20 program. The result of this research showed that the managerial ownership, the audit quality, and the return on assets affected the tax avoidance; while, the institutional ownership, the proportion of independent board of commissioners, and theaudit committee did not have any effect on the tax avoidance

This study aims to examine the effect of Good Corporate Governance, CEO ethnicity, and Audit Fees in Manufacturing Companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange within the period of 2014-2018. The independent variable used in this study is Good Corporate Governance, which is represented by the variable of the Independent Commissioner, Audit Committee, Managerial Ownership, Institutional Ownership and CEO Ethnicity, while the dependent variable used is Audit Fee. This quantitative research employed the descriptive research method. The population in this study included manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling with certain criteria and 220 data were obtained from observations within the period of 2014-2018. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software by performing calculations and descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, partial tests and determination coefficient tests.The results of this study indicate that Independent Commisioner, Audit Committee, Managerial Ownership, and CEO Ethnicity have a significantly positive impact on Audit Fees.

The consistent implementation of good corporate governance based on fairness, transparency, and accountability is proven to improve the quality of financial statements.This study aims to determine the influence of indicators of good corporate governance indicators to earnings management in Manufacturing Companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling method is porposive samling by taking a sample of 30 manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector which publishes annual report complete year 2014-2018.The results showed that simultaneously and partially, managerial ownership, composition of board of commissioner, audit committee and audit quality of KAP size have a positive effect on earnings management.Variable composition of board of commissioner has the most dominant influence to earnings management, shown by value of Standardized efficients Beta 0,303 bigger of the value of Standardized Coefficients Beta of other independent variables.

This study aimed to examine the effect of good corporate Governance against tax avoidance peroxided by the book tax gap and corporate governance is peroxided by institutional ownership, managerial ownership, independent board, audit committee and audit quality. This study was performed on companies listed on the Stock Exchange on the observation period 2011-2014. The method used is purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 10 companies. The data used is secondary data that can be downloaded through www.idx.co.id and www.sahamok.com.  The results showed that the variables of the board of managerial ownership, independent directors, audit committee, and audit quality effect on tax avoidance while institutional ownership variable has no effect on tax avoidance. It is suspected that institutional ownership as a monitoring tool in any decision taken by the manager does not support an optimal oversight of management performance related to tax evasion.DOI: 10.15408/etk.v15i2.3541

This study aims to examine empirically the effect of the application of GCG and the size of the company on tax avoidance. This study was performed on companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2010-2013. Variables used are institutional ownership, the independence of auditors, the audit committee, and the size of the company as an independent variable and tax avoidance as the dependent variable. The research sample 84 manufacturing companies. The sampling technique using judgment sampling. Testing data using multiple regression analysis. The test results showed that only affects the audit committee on tax avoidance.

This study aimed to find out the effect of Good Corporate Governance toward profitability of listed manufacturer companies in Indonesian stock exchange in 2012-2016 periods. The proxies of Good corporate governance are board of commissioners, board of directors, and audit committee. Moreover, the profitability is measured by Return On Equity (ROE). Population in this study were  registered manufacturer companies in Indonesian stock exchange in 2012-2016 periods. The sampling technique is purposive sampling method. Based on this method, it is obtained 29 companies. The type of data is secondary data. The data processing uses SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) v.20. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regressions. The result of this study showed  that partially, the Board of Commissioners and the Audit Committee have no significant effect on profitability while the Board of Directors has a significant influence on profitability. Simultaneously the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee had a significant influence on profitability.

This study aims to obtain an empirical evidence about the effect of good corporate governance on tax avoidance which becomes a proxy of current ETR (Effective Tax Rate). The samples of this study were 120 manufacturing companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2010 – 2013. The hypothesis testing used multiple regression analysis. The result of this study show that audit committee has a positive effect on tax avoidance in partial but the executive compensation, executive character, company size, institutional ownership, boards of commisioners' proportion, audit committee and audit quality have simultaneous effect to define tax avoidance.
