AbstrakWabah corona virus (Covid-19) merupakan masalah yang terjadi hampir di semua belahan dunia, yang terjadi diakhir tahun 2019 dan sampai saat ini angka kejadiannya masih cukup tinggi termasuk di Indonesia. Dalammencegah penularan Covid-19, WHO dan Kementerian Kesehatan menghimbau masyarakat untuk menggunakanmasker, rajin mencuci tangan, menjaga jarak serta mengonsumsi makanan sehat dan bergizi. Gizi yang cukupsangat diperlukan dalam mempertahankan sistem kekebalan tubuh. Memilih asupan makanan bergizi seimbangpada masa pandemic Covid-19 sekarang ini salah satu cara agar daya tahan tubuh tetap prima. Dampak dariCovid-19 juga mempengaruhi psikologi seseorang dalam pemilihan makanan dan perubahan pola makan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku konsumsi makanan pada masyarakat Kabupaten Munaselama pandemic Covid-19, dengan menggunakan rancangan cross sectional study. Sampel dalam penelitian iniadalah semua responden yang mengisi lembar kuesioner secara online yakni sebanyak 701 orang responden.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan (pvalue = 0,673) tidak mempunyai hubunganterhadap perilaku konsumsi. Sikap (Pvalue = 0,000) dan tindakan (pvalue = 0,000) mempunyai hubungan terhadapperilaku konsumsi. Kemudian dilanjutkan uji regresi linear sederhana, didapatkan nilai nilai R Square (R2) = 0,215, artinya bahwa sikap dan tindakan memiliki pengaruh sebesar 21,5% terhadap perilaku konsumsi makananresponden selama pandemic Covid-19 sedangkan 78,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Dari hasil penelitianmaka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap tidak berhubungan terhadap perilaku konsumsimakanan bergizi, sedangkan tindakan mempunyai hubungan signifikan dan pengaruh terhadap konsumsimakanan bergizi masyarakat Kabupaten Muna selama Covid-19.Kata kunci: Covid-19; perilaku; makan bergizi

Worldwide Corona virus outbreak has cause panic and enormous health and economic effects due to inadequate or lack of appropriate information about COVID -19. Aims: The aim of the study was to determine the Level of knowledge and Preparedness to Corona Virus (COVID –19) Pandemic among Health Workers in Igembe South, Meru County, Kenya. Study Design: This was cross-sectional study was conducted to determine their Knowledge and Preparedness among HCWs on COVID-19 pandemic. Place and Duration of Study: The study was conducted in Igembe South Health Facilities between March and June 2020. Methodology: A facility based cross-sectional study was conducted in Igembe South Sub County of Meru County from March 2020 to June 2020 among 87 Health Care Workers to determine their Knowledge and Preparedness on COVID-19 pandemic. Data was collected using structured Likert’s Scale questionnaire. Descriptive analysis was performed to obtain frequencies and distribution of the variables. Results: The results shows that eight seven (87) health care workers with mean age of 34± 9 (SD) years with a minimum age of 19 years and maximum age of 60 years were recruited responded to the questions of the study. Among the 87 participants, 51 (58.6%) had at least a bachelor's degree, 30 (34.5%) participants had a diploma and 6 (6.9%) participants had a certificate. About 32 (36.8%) of the participants were nurses. Other professional disciplines included nutritionists, records officers, supporting staff, social workers among others. Majority of the facilities acknowledged receiving Ministry of Health guidelines and protocols on COVID-19 case management. Regarding knowledge of COVID -19 Almost half (48.3%) of the participants somewhat agreed that health care workers had knowledge of Corona Virus Pandemic, however, most of the respondents (50.6%) strongly disagreed that they are equipped with adequate Knowledge to manage severe Corona Case compared to (8%) respondents who strongly agreed that Corona Virus Incubation period is an average of 7 days and maximum of 14 days. Conclusion: The study concludes that knowledge and preparedness level on COVID - 19 was above average, however, there is need for continuous professional development (CPD) training and support supervision for HCWs to ensure maintenance of appropriate practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study further concludes that those with knowledge and are conversant with their respective areas of practice are at less risk, considering that inadequate knowledge is not only a risk factor for poor delivery of WHO approved COVID -19 guidelines met to prevent the spread of COVID -19, but also increases the occupational risk to health care workers.

Background: Corona virus disease 19 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by newly discovered corona virus. In order to reduce the cases of COVID-19, it is important to practice strict control measures. People adherence to control measures is affected by their knowledge, attitude and practices towards COVID-19. Hence, this study was conducted with an objective to assess the knowledge, attitude and practice towards COVID-19 in the rural community in the vicinity of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), B.G. Nagar.Methods: This cross sectional study was carried out among 572 households in the rural field practice area of AIMS, B. G. Nagar for a period of 3 months. Personal interview of the households was done using pretested semi structured questionnaire after obtaining the consent. Data was entered in MS Excel and descriptive statistical measures like percentage, mean, and standard deviations were calculated.Results: Among 572 households, more than half (53.9%) of the interviewed subjects were less than 40 years old. Majority, 94.6% of the respondents responded correctly that the spread of the disease is by close contact with an infected person and respiratory droplets, 96.2% knew correctly the early sign/s of COVID-19. 94.2% of them had the confidence that the world will win the battle against COVID-19. Most (98%) of the study subjects were taking proper preventive measures while leaving home.Conclusions: Majority of the study participants exhibited good knowledge, favorable attitude, and sensible practices regarding COVID-19. This good knowledge of the study population towards COVID-19 was mainly due to wide awareness created by the Government through various social media.

Introduction: The corona virus disease 2019 is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 belonging to corona viruses which are enveloped positive stranded RNA viruses. Non-critical coronavirus disease 2019 patients often lack follow up visits which has led to incomplete understanding of disease process. The aim of this study was to find out the prevalence of persistent symptoms in such patients during two months follow-up to a district hospital. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in a district hospital from September 2020 to February 2021 among non-critical corona virus disease 2019 patients admitted to the isolation center of Nepal. Ethical approval was taken from the ethical review board of Nepal Health Research Council (reference number: 1707). Convenience sampling was done. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was done using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences version 26. Point estimate at 95% Confidence Interval was calculated along with frequency and proportion for binary data. Results: Out of 132 patients, 66 (50%) (41.5-58.5 at 95% Confidence Interval) patients had persistent symptoms at two-month follow-up. Forty-eight (36.4%) patients showed one symptom, 15 (11%) had two symptoms, and 3 (2%) had two or more symptoms. The most frequent symptom reported was fatigue in 17 (13%), cough in 15 (11%), myalgia in 9 (7%), and headache in 9 (7%). Conclusions: The prevalence of persistent symptoms at two months follow up in our study was lower than findings from other international studies.

Dampak Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) telah mempengaruhi gaya hidup seluruh masyarakat dunia terutama pola konsumsi makanan berbagai kelompok umur. Namun dalam berlarut-larut pandemi covid-19 ini sehingga diterapkan Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) yang berakibat pada perubahan perilaku diet tertentu untuk mengatasi covid-19. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku diet selama covid-19 di masa PPKM. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah survey analitik desain cross sectional study. Responden usia 18 tahun keatas sebagai populasi dan sampel dengan pengambilan sampel secara accidental sampling sebanyak 493 peserta. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner serta teknik analisis data dengan uji-t independen atau analisis ANOVA. Hasil diperoleh sebagian besar peserta melaporkan sendiri bahwa mereka baru-baru ini mengurangi makan di luar serta proporsi orang yang memilih untuk menggunakan suplemen untuk mencegah covid-19 telah meningkat secara substansial selama PPKM sebanyak 275 (55,8%), kurang dari setengah peserta mengikuti perilaku diet yang direkomendasikan, termasuk porsi makanan individu serta peserta yang mengikuti perilaku ini memiliki keragaman makanan yang lebih baik. Kesimpulannya, selama periode PPKM peserta masih mengikuti perilaku diet tertentu untuk mengatasi covid-19. Sementara beberapa perilaku diet diadopsi untuk membantu mencegah penularan seperti menghindari makan bersama serta mengonsumsi multivitamin.
