The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct effect of political cost and debt covenant on accounting conservatism. Besides, this study also analyzes the role of debt covenants as a moderator between the effect of political cost on accounting conservatism. The companies that are the samples are companies indexed on the IDX30 other than financial services companies and companies with non-rupiah financial reports. the data used is secondary data from the financial statements of 20 companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. data analysis using multiple linear regression and analysis of variance. The results showed that political cost directly affects accounting conservatism positively and significantly. whereas debt covenant does not have a direct significant effect on accounting conservatism. Besides, this study shows the role of debt covenants in strengthening the effect of political costs on accounting conservatism.

This research aims to understand and analyzes the effect of debt covenant, bonus plan, and political cost against company’s accounting conservatism. Independent variable for which used in this research was debt covenant measured by the ratio of leverage, bonus plan measured by company share ownership by managers, and political cost measured by the size of the company.While the dependent variable measured by accounting conservatism. The sample selection is using purposive sampling method, in order to obtain 36 observations of manufacturing company which narrowed to subsector industrial consumer goods and consistently listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2012-2015. This research uses secondary data from company financial statements obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Multiple linear regression technique is used in this research to achieve analytical results. The result showed that debt covenant have negative insignificant effects to accounting conservatism, bonus plan have negative and significant effects to accounting conservatism, and political cost it has positive effects and significantl to accounting conservatism.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of managerial ownership, debt covenants, political costs and growth opportunities on the level of accounting conservatism, case studies on manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2015. Testing this hypothesis uses multiple regression analysis. The regression coefficient test (T Test) in this study shows that the debt covenant and growth opportunities have a significant negative effect on the level of accounting conservatism, while the managerial ownership and political cost variables have no significant effect on the level of accounting conservatism. Suggestions for this study are to be able to expand the research sample so that the results can be generalized and can also be used to add or replace other variables that can affect accounting conservatism.

This study aims to examine the influence of debt covenants, bonus plans, political costs, and litigation risks to accounting conservatism. Accounting conservatism is the dependent variable in this study which is measured by total accrual (before depreciation). The independent variables in this research include debt covenant, bonus plan, political cost, and litigation risk. The sample of this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2010-2014. The sample in this study is determined by using purposive sampling method. The samples obtained in this research are 22 companies. Hypothesis testing is done by using multiple linear regression analysis method. Based on hypothesis test, it is concluded that the debt covenant variable proxied with leverage has no influence on accounting conservatism. Bonus plans proxied with managerial ownership structure have no significant influence on accounting conservatism. Political costs proxied with the firm size do not significantly influence accounting conservatism. The risk of litigation proxied with the firm measurement in terms of assets growth significantly influence accounting conservatism.

This study aims to determine the effect of taxes, tunneling incentives, debt covenants, and profitability on the company's decision to transfer pricing. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from accessing the web www.idx.co.id. The population of this research was manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The number of companies sampled in the study was 27 companies so that the total sample of the study was 135 observations. This study used the multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results of this study known there are still many variables outside the research that can explain transfer pricing.The determination coefficient is 0.441 which means that 44.1%. It indicates that the company transfers pricing is influenced by these variables, while the rest is explained by other variables.Based on the  result can be concluded that taxes, debt covenants and profitability has a positive effect on the decision to transfer pricing. While the tunneling incentive does not effect the decision to conduct transfer pricing.Keywords: Tax, Tunneling Incentive, Debt Covenant, Profitability, and Transfer Pricing

Conservatism is a precautionary principle that can be considered in accounting because a company has an uncertain or unexpected event. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of company size, capital intensity, debt covenant, and litigation risk on accounting conservatism. This study uses secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the study period in 2017-2019. The population in this study were 168 manufacturing companies using a purposive sampling method, there were 25 company data included in the criteria. The analysis technique used is to use multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that at the time of the F Test all independent variables simultaneously influence accounting conservatism, and after the T test is performed shows that company size and debt covenant variables partially affect accounting conservatism, while other independent variables do not influence conservatism accounting, manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019.

Accounting conservatism is defined as managerial accounting choices of accounting methods and estimates within Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that result in the persistent understatement of cumulative reported earnings and net assets over period of time. The objective of the research is to analyze the influence of managerial ownership, debt covenant, litigation, tax and political costs, and growth opportunities on accounting conservatism. The research consists of 22 manufacturing companies listing on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research using purposive sampling method whereas the criteria are manufacturing companies which are consistently listing on Indonesia Stock Exchange and using a accounting conservatism during period 2005 until 2008. Multiple regression is used to analyze the data. The results of the research showed that litigation had significant effect to accounting conservatism. AbstractObjective – This study aims to analyze the influence of internal mechanisms (independent commissioner, ownership structure and audit committee) on accounting conservatism in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period of 2015-2017. Design/methodology – Secondary data in the form of financial statements are collected from the sub-sector companies in mining industry from the Indonesian capital market directory (ICMD). The data is taken from companies listed in Indonesia stock exchange for the period of 2015-2017. Samples are determined by using purposive sampling method and are selected based on certain considerations or criteria. The analysis model used in this study is path analysis. Results – The results of this study prove that independent commissioners, ownership structures and audit committees have a positive effect on accounting conservatism. Research limitations/implications – This study is perhaps limited in the number of variables used to test the model. There may be other variables that affect accounting conservatism so that further studies can extend this study by utilizing more variables.

This study aims to examine the effect of Sharia Governance Structure (IG Score, Investment Account Holder, and Size) and Profit on Islamic Social Reporting Disclosures at Islamic Public Banks in Indonesia. The study is a quantitative study that uses secondary data that is sourced from financial reports on Islamic banks listed on the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Data were then analyzed using panel data regression analysis techniques through Eviews 9 software to test the relationship of hypotheses in this study. The result showed that shari’a governance structure has a positive effect on level of ISR disclosure. And the result also showed that profitability has a positive effect on level of ISR disclosure

This study is aimed at examining the effects of the Number of Board of Commissioners, Leverage, Profitability, Capital Intensity, Cash Flow, and Company Size toward Conservatism in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). The population used in this study is the yearly financial statements on firm of manufacturing listed at BEI period 2012-2017, using purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from yerly financial reports published and downloaded through the official BEI website. Data analyzed with Descriptive statistics, test of classic assumption and exmination of hypothesis with multiple linier regression method. The result of hypothesis research shows variable Profitability and Cash Flow have a significant effect on the ability of Conservatism, while the Number of Board of Commissioners, Leverage, Capital Intensity, and Company Size has no effect on the ability of Conservatism.
