This study aims to provide insights into the impact levels of digitalization and intelligentization on air transport system (ATS) in Australia, China, the US, and India. Air transport system is one of the most efficient transport systems which contains three elements: air traffic control, airport, and airlines. In modern society, the importance of digitalization and intelligentization in ATS is attached to by publics. In this study, firstly, comparative analysis is used to analyze the different states of digitalization and intelligentization level and air transport system in sample countries. Then, correlation analysis is used to study the correlation of the different impact factors with the ATS in different countries. The third one is regression analysis, it is used to analyze the relationship between ATS and the development of digitalization and intelligentization in four sample countries. At last, forecasting analysis is used to predict the future trend of digitalization and intelligentization’s impact on ATS in the sample countries in the next few years. Then, the most significant impact factors for ATS will be obtained. Also, the future development trends of ATS under digitalization and intelligentization’s impact could be forecasted by using econometric models.

The article outlines some human factors affecting the operation and safety of passenger air transport given the massive increase in the use of the VLA. Decrease of the impact of the CO2 world emissions is one of the key goals for the new aircraft design. The main wave is going to reduce the burned fuel. Therefore, the eco-efficiency engines combined with reasonable economic operation of the aircraft are very important from an aviation perspective. The prediction for the year 2030 says that about 90% of people, which will use long-haul flights to fly between big cities. So, the A380 was designed exactly for this time period, with a focus on the right capacity, right operating cost and right fuel burn per seat. There is no aircraft today with better fuel burn combined with eco-efficiency per seat, than the A380. The very large aircrafts (VLAs) are the future of the commercial passenger aviation. Operating cost versus safety or CO2 emissions versus increasing automation inside the new generation aircraft. Almost 80% of the world aircraft accidents are caused by human error based on wrong action, reaction or final decision of pilots, the catastrophic failures of aircraft systems, or air traffic control errors are not so frequent. So, we are at the beginning of a new age in passenger aviation and the role of the human factor is more important than ever.

The article deals with the problem of transportation of agricultural products. The main causes of problems in this area are identified. The mechanism of creating favorable conditions in the system of globalization relations of the modern economy is analyzed. The fundamental elements in the transport system are competition orientation and information ownership over a certain period of time. Globalization involves the integration of different types of transport systems at the sectoral characteristics. The purpose of the research is to study the essence, meaning and prospects of the concept of “economic transport space in the national food supply system" in the processes of food market globalization. The main indicators of the “economic space" are: first, to determine the parameters that characterize the economic transport space, and secondly, to determine the prospects for using its structural elements in the system of transport supply relations, depending on the temporal and spatial components in the modern sector of the economy to provide food for the needs of society.

Abstract The River Subansiri, one of the largest tributaries of the Brahmaputra, makes a significant contribution towards the discharge at its confluence with the Brahmaputra. This study aims to investigate an appropriate model to predict the future flow scenario of the river Subansiri. Two models have been developed. The first model is an artificial neural network (ANN)-based rainfall-runoff model where rainfall has been considered as the input. The future rainfall of the basin is calculated using a multiple non-linear regression-based statistical downscaling technique. The proposed second model is a hybrid model developed using ANN and the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) curve number (CN) method. In this model, both rainfall and land use/land cover have been incorporated as the inputs. The ANN models were run using time series analysis and the method selected is the non-linear autoregressive model with exogenous inputs. Using Sen's slope values, the future trend of rainfall and runoff over the basin have been analyzed. The results showed that the hybrid model outperformed the simple ANN model. The ANN-SCS-based hybrid model has been run for different land use/land cover scenarios to study the future flow scenario of the River Subansiri.

This paper uses STRIPAT models to find the impact of population, economy and technology on CO2 emissions of China. The result shows the impact of population, economy and technology on CO2 emissions are 1.253, 1.076, and 1.077 respectively. According to the future prospect of China, three scenarios of Chinas economic development are given to forecast the CO2 emissions, the forecasting results shows that if Chinas economic, population and energy consumption is increasing 7%, 0.4%, 5% every year, respectively. CO2 emissions will reach 21.05×108t in 2020. The CO2 emissions per unit GDP is decreasing by 45.54% in 2020 compared to 2005, which can fulfill the Chinese governments promise to decrease the GHG emissions per unit GDP by 40-45% in 2020 compared to 2005.

The contemporary literature of the subject lacks explicit determination of the role performed in rail transport systems by certain major components and assemblies used in rail transportation. One typically perceives the technical solutions applied in railway engineering as an entire body of solutions or as a subsystem, without properly emphasising the impact of defects on the operating efficiency of the rail transport system and without the due regard to safety in this domain of transport. The switch point mechanism/switch point assembly is an important component of a rail transport system. This article is an attempt to identify the role and importance of this assembly in a rail transport system.

The article analyzes the key problems of modern digital and socio-cultural transformation of the political and legal organization of modern society, discusses the impact of biological threats and risks on the dynamics of public-power relations. The article presents an analysis of key approaches to designing the future development of the state, law, and society, and the concept of “projective future” is analyzed by the authors as a fundamental “driver” of political, legal, and socio-economic transformation, which acts as an attractor that triggers certain development trajectories-social, biological, digital, cultural, political, and legal phenomena.

A country’s banking sector plays a dominant and important role in its financial growth and economic progress. The prime objective of this research paper is aimed towards evaluating the performance of 12 selected banks in United Arab Emirates (UAE) through various financial ratios. The paper highlights the various financial parameters such as adequacy of risk based capital, credit growth, concentration of credit, non performing position of loans, liquidity gap analysis, liquidity ratios, return on assets, return on equity, net interest margin in analysing the financial performance of the selected banks. The analysis of ratio helps to develop an insight to the extent the various financial variable impact the profitability and the productivity of the selected National Commercial Banks in U.A.E. The purpose of this paper is to examine the future financial performance of selected U.A.E National commercial banks using three indicators; Internal–based performance measured by Return on Assets, Market-based performance measured by Tobin’s Q model (Price / Book value of Equity) and Economic–based performance measured by Economic Value add. The financial data has been adopted from the audited financial statements of the sampled banks for the period of 2014 till 2017. Statistical tools used in the study include multiple regression analysis that captures the impact of the individual size of the bank, the credit risk, efficiency in operations and the asset management on the financial performance followed by forecasting the Future Trend.

In comparison with the previous papers, this one is somewhat speculative in tone. In discussing commercial VTOL there is little hard fact to form a sound basis for extrapolation as there is with conventional aviation. But we do know that relatively fast VTOL aircraft can now be engineered around the jet, the fan and the propeller. It also seems that VTOL may offer some peculiar advantages and bring about a significant increase in the capacity of the air transport system as a whole. So it should be useful now to discuss in pretty broad terms the impact of the higher performance type of VTOL on the system: it will certainly be invaluable to the aircraft constructor to try to find out the influence of the whole air transport environment upon the design of the vehicle itself.
