This article discusses the opportunities of information and communication technologies for providing pharmaceutical care in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The global COVID-19 pandemic has necessitated a reorientation of the concept of providing health care to large-scale implementation of information technologies to improve the quality of medical and pharmaceutical services for the population. It had a significant impact on pharmacy, which necessitated changes in the management of pharmaceutical care for patients. Rapid and urgent measures were taken by the pharmacists, who found themselves at the forefront. Telepharmacy has proven to be a successful solution in the fight against the virus in the conditions of physical distance. The introduction of modern information and communication technologies worldwide will create significant advantages for more efficient use of resources and management of pharmaceutical care.

The use of marketing communication technologies in the innovative development of enterprises creates appropriate conditions and mechanisms that will stimulate innovative activity and the introduction of its results into the economic practice of enterprises. There are considered in the article the most modern and one of the most optimal technologies for today - the use of existing potential, which is human intelligence. The proposed crowdsourcing technology is based on the use of resources (potential, group intelligence, the principles of self-expression and self-realization of the individual) using information and communication technologies that are suitable for solving important problems of the socio-economic development of enterprises, including innovative ones. A prerequisite for the use of crowdsourcing as a factor in the successful innovation development of enterprises is the spread of modern information technologies and the possibility of their use by participants in innovation processes. Crowdsourcing can become a radical method of producing and commercializing innovation products without significant investments in the conditions of insufficient financial support for innovation processes.

At a new stage in this process, the concept of «electronic government» under the influence of such newest phenomena of the emerging information society as methods of analysis of «big data», «artificial intelligence», «Internet of things», «blockchain» is being transformed into the category of «digital government». Achievements and prospects of public administration digitalization are considered on the example of countries with the highest ratings — Denmark, Australia, Republic of Korea, Great Britain, USA and Russia.

Educational change, particularly change involving the adoption of educational innovations, is a complex process. In Malaysia, the significant role of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in promoting digital education is reflected in the national ICT in education policy. Nevertheless, studies in the Malaysian educational context have shown that the policy implementation resulted in varying degrees of success. Through a discourse analysis approach, this paper aims to examine the evaluation studies on large scale initiatives introduced to digitize the Malaysian education system, from the Smart Schools programme to the incorporation of the Frog Virtual Learning Environment in classroom. The rationale behind these top-down initiatives and how they affected the stakeholders at the micro level, namely, teachers and students, are reviewed and analysed. The analysis informs our understanding of the factors that contribute to the successful and unsuccessful implementation of these initiatives and guide the planning of future policies.

Therefore, this chapter discusses the challenges and prospects of ICT in teaching TVE towards globalisation. The chapter points out clearly the meaning, philosophy, and objectives of TVET, concept and types of ICT, the need for effective utilisation of ICTs and its role in TVET, the challenges and solutions to the effective utilisation of ICTs in TVET, and the prospect of using ICT in teaching TVET. The chapter concludes by suggesting solutions for proper planning, management, and effective utilisation of ICTs resources in TVET.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the concept of linking various objects to the Internet that sense/acquire and transmit data in the environment to create a new application. From a standardization perspective, the IoT can be viewed as a global infrastructure, enabling advanced services by interconnecting (physical and virtual) objects based on evolving interoperable information and communication technologies (ICT). The success of the IoT will depend strongly on the existence and effective operation of global standards. The standardization initiative, research projects, national initiatives and industrial activities are outlined in this chapter. There are already many standardization activities related to the IoT, covering broad research areas: wireless and cellular technologies, networking protocols, emerging applications, media-centric IoT. What is needed, therefore, are a harmonization of standards and effective frameworks for large-scale deployment.
