Green economy has become highly relevant over the last years. We are currently experiencing pollution issue and environmental decay that had its origin, however, in the previous centuries. The development of industrial economy inevitably entails the production of waste, in such a quantity that the environment is incapable of assimilating and transforming it naturally. Therefore, it is believed that one of the main green economy sectors is the waste retrieval and recycling, that means waste management. In the existing literature, this sector has not been deeply analyzed from a viewpoint of performance business analysis. Although a European legislation exists, every country manages this business by itself. After a historical introduction, this study, using the regression model, analyses the variables that influence the Italian business of waste retrieval and recycling, in the process establishing which of them has a deeper impact on performance.

The originality of this research is where previous studies only discussed waste banks from the green economy perspective of maqashid sharia, or discussed economic empowerment only, but in this study it combines all aspects of previous research. This study aims to describe the role of the Sumringah waste bank in improving people's welfare, where the indicator used is Maqashid Syariah. This research uses qualitative research methods, with a case study approach. The waste management system at the Sumringah Waste Bank applies the 3R principle (reduce, reuse, recycle), this aims to motivate the community and increase awareness about managing waste independently from the source, as well as implementing a people's economy. The results of the analysis obtained indicate that there is prosperity in terms of: 1) Spirituality, namely by increasing alms Jariyah (hifz ad-din), 2) fulfilling mental needs (hifz an-nafs), 3) understanding about waste management and environmental hygiene (hifz al-nafs). aql), 4) maintenance of offspring (hifz al-aql), 5) income (hifz al-maal). The implication is as a behavior changer for the community, economic empowerment and quality of life of its members.

One of the environmental problems in urban areas is the pollution caused by garbage. The waste problem is caused by various factors such as population growth, living standards changes, lifestyles and behavior, as well as how the waste management system. This study aims to determine how the role of society to levy payments garbage in Samarinda. This research was descriptive; where the data is collected then compiled, described and analyzed used relative frequency analysis. The participation of the public to pay a "levy junk", which stated to pay 96.67%, for each month and the rates stated society cheap, moderate and fairly, respectively 46.08%, 21.21%, 21.04%. Base on the data , the role of the community to pay "levy junk" quite high.

The relevance of the article is determined by the fact that in Russia there is no effective mechanism of state support for the activities of non-profit organizations in the field of “green Finance”. The role of non-profit organizations is leveled, which can become a serious help in solving economic problems, in particular, the problems of recycling and processing of secondary raw materials, the placement of industrial waste and household garbage, and landscaping of large megacities. The main financial burden in the field of “green economy” falls on States and large enterprises. Meanwhile, we cannot ignore the important role of non-profit organizations that can not only draw attention to environmental problems to the public, but also offer their own measures to solve environmental problems. In this regard, it becomes relevant to consider the participation of non-profit organizations in the implementation of environmental projects by attracting “green Finance”.

Managing Solid Waste is always a challenge for any developing nations due to poor infrastructure and awareness. A continuously growing population and their migration to urban centers consequently leads to waste expansion. The rapidly increasing quantities of waste generated in the cities affect way of human life, environment and planet. Hence, the necessity for smarter, safer, and greener places have never been more urgent. The novel technologies, Internet of Things (IoT) particularly, holds the potential to better manage waste and recycling. The IoT-driven waste management systems positively influence achieving the vision of smart green cities. This article analyzes the role of smart and safe IoT-powered waste management system, highlights its benefits, and possibilities of implementation and evaluation. It is expected that the IoT-based waste management system will deal successfully with an increasing amount of diverse types of waste and through the realization of a smart green city vision will resolve numerous problems related to human health and environmental contamination.
